This is an everyday use for commuting on my bicycle and it is very durable in all sorts of weather. It has great space, strong material, and makes for a great everyday backpack!

I use it everyday going to work.

This backpack is very strong and lightweight. I often feel like I forgot something because it sits so lightly on my shoulders. I use it for school but you could probably use for anything. It is big enough for me laptop and textbooks with room to spare but collapses if the pockets aren't it use.

Great backpack! Seems like excellent quality. My elementary-age son loved it but didn't think it was a "school' backpack.

I took it to Disney with me. Will be taking it to Italy soon.

I purchased my High Sierra Swerve Backpack Style Butterflies/Pink Lemonade in the spring of 2014. I immediately noticed the quality and durability of the product. As a college student, I carry around a laptop, books, notebooks, etc., my backpack is able to hold a lot stuff and still be a comfortable wear. There are many things that I enjoy about this backpack. The first is all the different compartments: Two different bigger compartments for your books and binders A spot just for your laptop Two mesh water bottle holders A small compartment on top ( I use this for my keys) A front pocket to keep all your writing utensils As a student who is always on the move my backpack gets thrown around and shoved into places. It has maintained it shape and usage over the past two years. The one thing that I wish I could change is the white back of the backpack. Over the years, exposed to the natural weather elements of Iowa, my backpack has become stained. This stain is only an aesthetics problem and has not affected the usage of the bag. I very much still appreciate this bag very much. If you are a high school or college student, I would recommend this backpack to you. It will hold up to every challenge you give it.

Not only is the backpack from High Sierra, lots of pockets to get my daughter organized. Great quality construction. Not only is this putting up with my high schooler's demanding course load, and everyday wear and tear, but, the product from Zappos was delivered ahead of schedule and I have yet to see a better price. We will be back.

My brother used this bag for 2 years in middle school and then I took it for my senior year of high school and it was great! Super comfortable back and straps, really lightened the load. Beginning to fray at zippers but it would be expected after years of heavy use especially being used by a middle school boy. The main components work great still, holds a lot.

I don't have this one yet, but I did have it's predecessor. It got me all the way through middle school, until someone stole it out of my truck. Left it unlocked apparently... But now I'm looking to get the exact same one because of how well it worked for me.

My daughter chose that backpack to start middle school this fall. She is extremely happy with it and it seems to be holding up so far. It has lots of compartments and it's roomy. I give it an A+.

Good for weekend getaways

Overall I really like this backpack, I was sad to be done with my old one (from a different company) but this one is quickly feeling like the right replacement. One thing I would change is the placement of the water bottle pockets- I can't easily reach for my water bottle while wearing the backpack.

I use the backpack for work. Love all the compartments and the fact that it can stand upright (important to me!). The small compartment on top of the backpack has the potential to tear if heavy items are in it (has not torn yet). I just use it for phone cords/headphones. Zippers are heavy duty and just need some breaking in. Super comfy and I love the lapis color.

I bought this as a backup once realizing that my High Sierra Zestar Backpack arrived mildly defective. I also bought it in case my entire "library setup" didn't fit in the Zestar. According to the dimensions, this bag is supposed to be a tad bit larger. However, upon transferring everything into this bag, everything fits but boy is it still a tight fit. The zippers to the main compartment also don't zip down as far as I'd like. But it does have many compartments 4-5 I believe. I'm able to fit a covered laptop, and tablet, one spiral, lots of cords & a makeup bag full of glitter pens. It beats having to carry around 3 separate bags on the back of my wheelchair like before.

Love this model of backpack and got this one to replace one I've had for over ten years. Kind of disappointing to realize the material is clearly so much cheaper than it used to be, it's almost crackly. Will still use it, I like the design of the pack, but the change of material is striking.

I searched over and over again for a good sized backpack that organized all of my school stuff and held all of my books and laptop. I am a doctorate student so I have a lot to carry every day. The bag has held up well. The only thing I've noticed is that one of the zippers is a little rough but it's caused me no problems. I love this backpack and would definitely recommend and buy again. Hoping this awesome review wins me the #sweepstakes!! I'll definitely return to High Sierra for future purchases! They've gained a new customer :)

My two daughters (college and high school) both need backpacks that are roomy and well made. They insisted they be stylish but classy. We are all happy and they were affordable

This is a very spacious heavy duty bag. I had the same exact one for about 9 years before it started tearing and the zippers were getting rusty. I ordered a new one because I love this brand and it's proven itself to me.However, when I got the bag, it came flat and some of the zippers are difficult to open. It would have helped if the bag was stored stuffed with something like newspapers, packing paper, or shipped with such material as to hold its shape so the zippers won't be difficulty opening and closing. There is a spot on one of pockets where something is sticking out too far that stops the zipper from easily opening. I thought about it returning it but decided against it hoping it'll be fine because of my past experience with this bag.
