Though these boots were a wonderful soft leather, the sole was flat and smooth, not what was shown here on the Website. I am worried that they would be slippery, so they have to go back.The artificially slouchy styling also was a bit annoying. I love the look, but would have preferred it to be genuine.I kept wanting to pull them up!I am still on the hunt for the perfect boot that will wear well and last for years.

These boots are very comfortable. The foot bed seems thin but has not been a problem so far. I was worried that it would not have enough cushion and feel like walking in bare feet but so far that is not the case. I have not done any long walks in them but I have worn them everyday for two weeks now and they feel like slippers! I previously ordered my size and they were too small. I order one size up and they fit perfectly. They are stiff/molded leather but not uncomfortable. My foot is wide and these do not pinch but are snug. They are very quiet with a rubber sole and heel so they don't make any noise when walking I really like these boots.

I love these boots! They look good with boot cut pants but I prefer to wear them with tights and a skirt. I often add short contrasting socks over the tights. I have bunions that really limit my shoe choices but I took a chance on these boots and the leather is so soft they were comfortable immediately. Because of the bunions I usually size up at least half a size but the 8½M seem true to size and still work. I also use a half-orthotic and although the insole is not removable, I am able to fit the orthotic and still get my foot in without too much trouble. They are so comfortable that I am considering making them my go-to shoe for a European trip. I gave them four stars for style because I would prefer them just a bit shorter but overall I am delighted with them.

I really like these boots. There is a little padded in the soles, which makes them very comfortable for walking. They run pretty true to size--perhaps a tiny bit big--but not so much that you'd choose a size smaller. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Great boot! I wear a size 9 and got the 9.5-10, and it fits well. The size smaller was too tight. I bought the medium brown color and love it. The lighter tan is more of a light caramel color . . . The picture here isn't an accurate depiction of the color.

These were a Christmas gift to my daughter. Last night, she said they were so comfortable, that she didn't even want to take them off when it was time to get comfy and watch Downtown Abbey.

These were beautiful but very difficult to get my foot into. The leather was much lighter in color that shown. Looks more like tan than brown. So sorry to have to return.

These are so gorgeous. Real quality shoe with inside lining so incredibly soft. Cute, trendy & comfortable too. Really well made. Only thing, very rounded toe which the hubby vetoed. I would have ignored this, but have to admit this does make them appear too casual for more sophisticated work outfits. If that is not a concern for you, get them! In this case, you really do get what you pay for.

I love these boots! The real leather looks and feels great, and the boots fit true to size. I like the rubber sole for the quiet step and flexibility. I will wear these boots with skinny jeans, long skirts and leggings, and even slacks.

These are fabulous boots! They fit great and were exactly what I was looking for. They are perfect with skinny jeans and leggings. I have a high instep and trouble finding comfortable shoes. These boots are perfect.

I read all the previous reviews before I made my purchase and ordered the 39 and 40. Just as other reviewers noted the 39 were just a bit short but the 40 were slightly big. I opted to keep the 40 and am glad that I did. I just wear thick socks and have no problem. I call these my bedroom slipper boots because they are that comfortable. I do not think the arch support is good but I am able to use my custom arch support with no problem. I plan to enjoy these boots for a long time.

Awesome boots! Soft leather, fit great, can't say anything bad about them or Zappos. As always a great quality boot and top notch customer service.

These boots are excellent - really a rare find. Very comfortable, although I find them a little hard to get on. I don't care - they are totally worth it.

I love the look of these boots. I have an old pair of Rocket Dogs that I love (not leather,) and this was the closest I could find to the look. I felt the boots are a bit snug putting them on but ever so comfy when wearing. I think the next size up will be too big. In the description it fails to say they are lined with a fuzzy type lining that adds or takes away some extra space when putting your foot into the shaft of the boot. But I'm sure they will stretch the way leather does and I will be happy.

I really wanted to like these boots. I usually wear a 10.5 but these felt a little on the small side. I have Morton's Neuromas on both feet which causes fit issues and for that reason, they're going back, sigh.

Super comfortable!! They have become my everyday shoe. They look great with skinny jeans, skirt and leggings, and with my lululemons. I have received numerous compliments on them. I am thinking of getting another pair in brown.

These are absolutely comfortable from first wearing. They are also really cute. I love them. I wish they made some in light taupe suede. They fit me true to size, easy to get off and on, and have a nice arch support. I wear a 7.5 medium, so I got the 38, and they fit great. I buy a lot of boots, in all price ranges, and expensive boots are not always the most comfortable! These rank in my favorites.

Since a lot of reviews are saying they run big, I was hopeful when ordering the 42 (11/12). So sad they do not fit! Otherwise, exactly what I am looking for. The moral: will not fit a size 12. Boo!

I love these boots! They are perfect with skinny jeans or a dress and tights. The leather is soft and good quality. My only complaint is that the sizes seem like there is a big difference between one size and the next. One size (the size I usually wear) was a little too small and the next larger size just a little big. But I like them so much that I kept the bigger pair.

My daughter loves them and their rugged look. She says they are the most comfortable boots ever! I borrow them and Aunt Kay even ordered a pair.

Great boots! This my first purchase from this brand and I'm very pleased. I got the laguna brown in an 8, they are true to size and supports my high instep perfectly. The leather is nice and soft. I also found it easy to put on I just opened the snaps and it went on and off without any struggle whatsoever. Looking forward to wearing them all fall into winter!

Love the boot! It's super cute and even cuter in person once on the feet! Now...the color (brown) was different than what it looked like online, and I didn't love it, but the boot was so cute and comfortable, I accepted it and moved on...I'm a solid size 8, and the 38 fit me fine. A teeny bit snug when I first put it on, but was totally fine after an hour of walking around. The lining is so cozy and warm and I'm super crazy pleased with this purchase! Ohhh, and very comfortable to walk around in for long periods of time! I accidentally had to test it out while in Chicago for the weekend, and was pleased to find my feet pain-free at the end of the day!

These shoes are so comfortable and fit perfectly. The only reason I'm not keeping them is that they were a little shorter than I wanted and I didn't think the slouchiness looked good on me. They are an amazing boot though, completely worth the price.

Love these! I am trying hard to resist the urge to buy them in more colors! I have the brown which is a beautiful portobello mushroom color that goes with everything. It looks great with every color skinny jean that I have tried so far. I like that they are more fitted than the Frye short boots. They don't feel like buckets on your feet. Very flattering shoe. Only con is that the size is kind of strange. Wish I could have ordered a straight 8 rather than a 7.5/8. They work fine but I just have to wear them with a thin sock. They are comfortable though. Hard to find the perfect boot and these are pretty darn close. Love them!
