This boot looks AWESOME however the fit is not good. I ordered the size suggested and it was too small on one foot, in fact I couldn't even get it on! I then ordered the next size up and couldn't get the boot on my opposite foot; it was rather odd. Unfortunately there are no tabs in which to pull the boot on. I REALLY like the look and am so pleased with the ease of the return policy of Zappos. Will definitely order via Zappos again, simply not this particular book.

Loved the Boot but i could not get them on without a zipper. i have had boots like this before but this one is too hard to get on with out a zipper

The boots were uncomfortable. They were quite shiny and not what I expected. Returning them.

I was hoping the other reviewers were wrong, but...they were right. There was no way I was even getting my foot into the boot past the ankle. I do have a high instep so maybe that's the problem, and if you have flat feet they may work for you. Truly disappointing, its exactly what I was looking for.

Not impressed. The shiny leather looks weird and they were not comfortable at all. Returning.

Can't fit the book over the arch..doesn't open wide enough.

Pictures can be deceiving. Quality of leather is poor, color of gray boots was much lighter than pictured, sizing and fit is way off. Size 42 (11-12) is really more like a 10. Would not recommend this style nor this brand.

Too difficult to put on, even when you have the straps unbuckled.

I wanted to like these so bad! They just didn't fit my feet right and for the price I was disappointed in the overall comfort as well as the look in person.

I am returning these. They felt too flat for my problem feet (flat feet and bunions) and would not work with my orthotics. I doubt I would have kept them anyway - the leather looked very cheap in person. Too bad - the style is really nice.

This book definitely needs a zipper. For some reason, the ankle area is so tight that I couldn't even fit my foot inside the boot! Maybe it fits better for smaller feet, but my size 10 didn't even get in. Too bad, they look pretty cool.

I bought this boot for two reasons: I loved the color and, other reviewers said it ran large. I wear a size 10. The 41 was way too small so I reordered the 42. This boot will not go on my foot. If you like the boot, order at least two sizes larger than what you typically wear.

These boots are comfortable and the style is very cute however I was dissapointed in the quality of the leather. It looks (and feels) very cheap, almost like synthetic material. Will be sending these back. The search for the perfect boot continues...

These boots are cute and comfortable - but as far as quality - they are not even close to a lot boots. I just bought a pair of UGGs for less with much much better workman ship...don't waste you money on these. I have worn them several times and they look cheap after some winter weather.

This is the second size that I have ordered. The problem is the buckle at the ankle - instep area. It hurts badly to push the foot into the boot. So sorry, love the dusty blue color, great with skinny jeans.

These were beauties online and were recommended by a sales associate from a local shoe store. I bought them here on Zappos because they are the go to place for great shoes and they have my size. However, I bought a half size up and upon trying them on they were so pinchy (not even a pointed toe)that I couldn't imagine wearing them for more than 10 minutes.

As cute as they are, I had the hardest time trying to get them on. I sent them back. These are poorly constructed boots. They needed zippers or pull tags in the back.

I really wanted to love these, they were warm & comfy. But...they felt really cheap. So for the price I sent back. My search for the perfect black boots continues!

I was really hoping these boots would be awesome. However, the quality of the leather seemed to be really poor, almost synthetic in quality. I also hated the color immediately -- not at all how it's pictured, more of a green-brown than a cognac brown. The only good thing I can say is that the boots have this really nice fuzzy interior that would be cozy during the fall/winter.

These boots look much better online than in person. I was surprised to see how cheap they looked, and to make matters worse, they were really uncomfortable. Sent them back!

Awful color! Do not buy! I bought these boots in the tan color. I was so excited to finally find a pair of short boots that had my size (I wear size 12). But when they arrived and I opened them I was so disappointed...the color is absolutely horrific! Nothing like the picture. They were way lighter and almost orange! Very disappointing. They fit great and I definitely would have kept them if it weren't for the color.

Super disappointed in these. They're more grey than brown and just look cheap. For almost this much, I expected a much better looking boot. I sent them back and am going to go with the tried and true Frye's.

I ordered these after reading the great reviews, and the boots look and feel great. However, there is no side zip and they were ridiculously hard to get on, more effort than any other shoe in my life, ever. I am not into wrestling my shoes, so I sent them back. With a side zip they would have been the perfect black boot I am looking for.

I think I may have gotten the wrong boot! The leather on the boots isn't nearly as dark or tanned as the picture - the effect is that the boots look a lot cheaper than the image on line. Very sad. They are also HUGE. I got the smallest size available (I wear a size 5) and even with inserts and thick socks, my foot is still swimming. But, since I'm accustomed to not being able to find shoes small enough, and because I needed boots for that weekend, I've kept them. I'm sure in the near future I'll be getting something else to fit the cool, casual vibe I was going for. These aren't it.
