I had to send these back, with regret. I wear a 10.5 W/11 M. I can wear the 41 in the Jewel sandals, but the 42 is too small in the closed shoes and Wolky doesn't carry a 43. Glad to have Zappos wonderful return policy!

Very comfortable and flexible while being very supportive. I have hammer toes and a mangled foot due to injuries/surgeries - the shoe took a day or two to stretch to accommodate the strange structure of my foot. Now is a great everyday shoe that can go from the weekend to the workday. Big foot looks smaller in this style, looks like a modified ballet slipper.

Very comfortable. I need adjustable velcro closures so I can put a lift in one shoe and there was plenty of room. I also like that the criss cross strap has a little more style than the normal Mary Jane. I ordered a half size up based on other reviews and they fit.

I really like this shoe but is it too small so it is going back and I will order the next size up. I wear an 8 in US size and usually a 38 Euro size so I was surprised that the 39 was too small. This shoe is good for people with bunions and low arches, and it keeps the toes from bending to much.

Very nice shoe. I bought it before I went to Europe and needed a walking shoe. Much more stylish than I expected. Love the gray. Very comfortable.

I really wanted to like this shoe, and waited for it to be available in grey. Unfortunately, the side rubs my ankle bone and it's not a completely comfortable fit. I think my narrow foot is not a good one for this style. Cute shoe, though.

I love these shoes. When you want to walk in comfort, these shoes make it possible. Comfortable and very stable for those uneven European streets. I highly recommend them.

Once upon a time, I was someone who could wear beautiful, stylish shoes with heels. Now I'm someone with bunions and neuropathy who uses orthotics. These shoes finally let me feel feminine and comfortable at the same time. The strap lets them feel secure on my feet and my orthotics work very nicely in them. I would wear a 38 in Dansko and Birkenstock (both of which are now too hard for my tender soles) but seem to do better with the 39 in these. The toe box of the 38 is just a bit snug. The color called Black Brushed Leather is, in fact, a rich black with black stitching. It's not fuzzy or napped but doesn't have a high polished sheen. What's called Black Smooth Leather is a softer black with more sheen and lighter contrasting stitching. It almost has hints of a very deep brown in it, kind of a black-brown, at least to me. Both colors are nice in their own way. I just didn't pay enough attention to the photos to notice the contrasting stitching on the Black Smooth Leather. Since it's been so hard to find a shoe that holds my orthotics and works with skirts, I may keep both colors. I'm considering the Walnut too, if it comes back in stock in my size. And Zappos service is absolutely the best around.

This is a great pair of shoes. I have to have good support because of a tendon that was splitting, and I don't want to repeat that! These shoes were comfortable right away and the color is beautiful. I did take the advice of others and bought a size up from what I can usually wear, and it was perfect. I own a pair of Wolky sandals and now want to try some other styles. I am on my feet a lot at work and these do the trick.

I can't bear to look at the price, but these are so amazingly comfortable I just don't care right now. I often have trouble with Mary Jane's catching the bump on the top of my foot, but these are perfectly adjustable.

I just received my shoes. They are cuter in person than you can imagine. I have one foot that is in pretty bad shape, and the shoe is just a teeney snug, but I'm going to keep them, because I suspect that they will stretch a bit. Plus - it's the time of the day when my feet swell anyway. If I go up a size the left foot is perfect. I'm afraid to go up a size, because it would be too big. Too bad I can't order two different sizes. :-) This is my fourth pair of Wolky's. I am SOLD.

I bought the green and the black Wolky Passion at the same time. The green ones were about 1/2 size longer. They are comfortable in the B width despite my wide toe box. Though the lines of the shoe itself are elegant, the straps make it look a bit "schoolmarmish" to wear with dresses.

I sized up as suggested and the fit was perfect except for a major issue that caused me to return these. The shoe cut into my ankle bone in a very painful way that made walking in these shoes unbearable. It's a shame because I liked them otherwise. The green is a nice neutral alternative to brown or black.

I wish these shoes had fit. But an 11 is a 43 not a 42 in these shoes and no one Stocks the 43. They would have been perfect - exactly what I wanted.

These are very nice soft, attractive shoes. They could go anywhere. They were not comfortable for me because of my hammer toes so I must return they. For normal feet they would be an excellent choice.

This shoe seemed like a good compromise -- supportive but not too clunky looking. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Toe box was too shallow - my big toe hit the top of the shoe even though the shoe was long enough. Also, the inside edge of the side of the shoe, where the strap attaches, is quite high and rubbed on one of the bony parts of my foot. Very uncomfortable. The search for a supportive and not clunky shoe continues...

I cannot gauge the accuracy of sizing as I wear a much smaller size at this time. It does feel a bit short and narrow, but larger size is too large. After trying on numerous Mary Jane's, I vowed I couldn't wear them; this shoe changed my mind. The shoe is cute; the black pair has nifty button look. The way the straps cross helps stabilize my narrow hee as well as eradicating usual gappiness around the ball. The sole is thin, and I do not think I could wear orthotics. Two negatives - piece of metal for the strap lays on the foot, not shoe, so I had a mark from tightening straps for my heel, and, for me, the velcro piece is too short for my foot. I bought the shoe locally as I had issues on looks and sizing, but thank you zappos customer service!

Purchased the gray pattern a little over a year ago. Loved the fit and very cute style. However, after about 6 months the finish began to dull and regardless of what I tried, I wasn’t able to restore it back to the original appearance. Because they are so comfortable, I will be trying the solid black leather ones.

When you have a very large foot, finding cute and a shoe that makes your foot look smaller is a bonus. This shoe meets that criteria. This is my second pair in a different color. As for comfort, I did not find it to be cushioned enough with the footbed that is provided. I use a custom insert, but one aspect did not work well in this second pair as my heels kept coming out. But, a plus is the toe box is deep enough to allow ample room for the insert and not feel tight once the shoe is on. Overall, it is still a quality shoe. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be a better footbed.

If you want to use your custom orthotics, this is a good choice. Easy to insert and the velcro strap helps with adjustment. Very comfortable- wore them in NYC an entire work day the second day I got them. Only comment is they could work on making them less Grandma and more today in appearance.

This is a beautifully constructed shoe but the high sides uncomfortably press on an outside foot bone.

Overall these are great shoes. Very comfortable, even right out of the box. The only thing I don't like about them is the velcro feature for the strap. Given the high price of the shoes, I would have preferred a buckle type strap. The strap doesn't seem to be very long; it covers enough for my feet but for those who have wider feet, the shortish strap may be an issue. Found size to be true to size - I'm a 9 in every shoe, ever, and got the 8.5-9 size and they fit perfectly.

Wolkys are generally so comfortable for me, and the Passion is so cute (basic but cute) that I have tried to buy these twice! But doggone it, the toe box is just a little too low on this model and my big toenail winds up being squashed from above.

These shoes are at least one full size too short. Also, there isn't much arch support. However, they look very nice and are formal enough for office wear. I hope Wolky continues to make this style or a similar style with the cork footbed, which should provide more arch support.
