The width is average to wide, and insoles do fit in (the originals come out easily). Be warned, there is basically no traction on these--they're slippery even on carpet. The look is cute, and the straps is super easy to adjust. They gap a little at the instep for me, but my foot narrows there, so they'd probably be fine for average feet. The leather is stiff, so I'd schedule a break-in period if you're hoping to wear them for a certain event.

I've been searching for shoes that are comfortable with my neuroma. These fit like a glove right out of the box and I am able to wear them without pain.

I loved the shoes but they were too narrow in the front of the shoe and hurt my toes and bunyon.

I could barely get them on so it's difficult for me to give this the appropriate stars. They are cute and appear to be well made but I couldn't get them on. The are a full size too small.

I love Wolky shoes! I am on my feet all day and they really support my feet.

I love the color and the style looks so comfortable, but they were a bit too short. I could feel my toes at the end. They were surprisingly heavy compared to Wolkey sandals I have.

This is a beautiful shoe! Just not quite right for my foot; the heel made me feel a little unstable.

Loved the style and perfect fit of these shoes. There was no break-in time needed. Purchased in the funky gray pattern, which is very cute.

Great shoes - feel like sneakers so great for walking and standing. I insert my custom orthotics for great comfort. Wear with skirts and pants - Euro-looking. Wore at a trade show with dresses and was comfortable all day - a true miracle!

These shoes were so adorable and I tried REALLY hard to make them work. My dancers feet rebelled. With regrests, I am returning them.

I love the Passion but always have trouble with Velcro, it keeps opening when I walk. What am I doing wrong?

This is an excellent shoe. It was accepting of my orthotics, forgiving of my bunion, and the zigzag strap took pressure off my midget arthritis. Comfy and cute!

I just love this shoe, wore my first pair almost every day for more than year! I'm on my second pair and I only wish the smooth black style had the same white over stitching as my first pair. Slightly more stylish that way I think.

Perfect for me! I read all the reviews and tried 7 pairs of maryjane style shoes. This was a keeper! Beautiful deep black suede, lightweight enough to not feel clunky, accommodated custom orthotics, doesn't bother my bunions, securely fastens to hold my feet in, roomy toe box, quality design and materials... I often find a size 10 too small and a size 11 too big... got the 42 in this and it is perfect. :) My fussy feet are very happy.

I wear size 11 and ordered a 42. It is definitely a 10-10.5, not a size 11. A different pair fit better, so I'm not sure if a 43 in this style would have worked or not. It seemed very comfortable, though.

I am a person with all kinds of foot problems, but this shoe is very comfortable for both standing and walking, and it is amazingly attractive. I highly recommend it.

These were really comfortable right out of the box, but, the style didn't justify the price. I really prefer an open back... these were too clunky.

I finally found shoes that are comfortable and a little more dressy! I have a couple of hammer toes, so it has been difficult to find shoes that don't hurt my toes. I still cushion those toes, but can wear thse shoes all day for special occasions. Never tried this brand before but now I have another brand that I like along with Dansko.

Wearing Wolky for years. Very comfortable, generous fit...even though not special widths....Medium fits, and usually double e in other brands. Wear with my orthotics. Sublimely happy with Wolky products. Have five different styles.

With a recent foot injury, I've had to abandon almost half of my shoe wardrobe and search for shoes that provide support without looking clunky. One of the shoes I've been able to keep is a Wolky gillie-style sandal that is supportive for walking. Looking through Zappos for a dressier style, I liked the looks of Passion and ordered it in gray suede. It was love at first wearing! The insole feels supportive and the entire shoe cradles my foot. The top strap is adjustable for comfort when my foot swells. While I wouldn't wear Passion to a formal event, it has a graceful shape and looks stylish with pants and skirts. I just ordered a second pair in black suede.

Love these shoes! I bought them two years ago and then just re-brought them as they have been wonderful. They look great with both dress pants and skirts. They are extremely comfortable - I wore them walking all around Europe. I will say the toe tends to scuff fairly easily but shoe polish mostly covers that up.
