when my husband heard me say how much I loved my Giesswein slippers, he asked me if they had men's styles. He is really pleased with his and is wearing them all the time inside. His US shoe size is 9.5, and we ordered the size 43 (US 10 equivalent) and they are roomy enough for socks and not too big.

Bought these for my mother for Christmas. She loves these. She wears these everywhere, even shopping, and a few times to work. They are very comfortable and have excellent arch support.

I have feet that are always cold and these slippers are really helpful in keeping my feet warm. They run small so though I wear a women's size 11 Narrow I got the men's 43. I would have loved them in red but the men's only come in a few colors. They are really nice looking slippers and though they are quite expensive I'm glad I got them.

I'm so crazy about these slippers! They're well beyond the price range I usually stick to for shoes I'm just going to wear around the house, but they're worth every penny. I have horrible foot problems, and the arch support in these things helps so much! I put them on the instant I'm out of bed and pretty much don't take them off until bedtime at night. Even so, my feet don't get sweaty in them. I love that! Just wish they made more outdoor shoes, too. I'd buy one in every style.

The best slipper I've ever worn-period. Blows the other boiled wool & Ugg slippers out of the water. The arch, which is removable, fits my foot perfectly & makes for a very comfortable & warm slipper. There is a tough sole which makes this a 'lodge slipper" but I can see myself where these out to the store. They are on the heavier side for a slipper & well made. I have neuropathy in my feet- my feet make decisions independently from my brain. They are very happy, warm & cozy. I normally wear a womens 11-12, or a mens 10.5 since its not easy to find a womens shoe in my size. Anyway...I ordered a mens 44(euro size) and they are perfect. Enough room to accommodate a heavier sock if wanted. There is a thumbs width distance from tip of big toe to shoe tip. And a draw cord which snugs up the opening if needed. Just wish there were more of a selection of colors in the mens sizing. Am looking forward to trying their other styles.

finally a slipper and shoe to wear outside. Very hard to fit, need wide toe box and some height for damaged toes. This is perfect. Wear a 40 normally and always had to size up with this brand. Nice arch support. Love the square toe box, the way shoes should be so not to damage feet

I got these for myself and my boyfriend. We wear them almost every day fall through spring for two years now. They're as good as new. They do what slippers should do - be warm and comfy, but they really do wear more like a Birkenstock in terms of support, which is what makes them so great. Eventually the cork will mold to your feet and you too, will become one with your German house slippers. These are not fashionable, unless your idea of fashionable is kind of geriatric, but hey, they are slippers. The point is function over form. I embrace the ergonomics. Oh and bonus points - they are impervious to foot stank!

Ouch that arch LOL I have wide flat feet and overpronate. The arch in this shoe is just too high. I also sized up like many people recommended and they were at least a size too big. I'm going to try one of their less aggressive styles because the quality is awesome and the wool so soft.

I love these shoes. Perfect to wear around the house in the winter; excellent arch support.

The best slipper ever!!! This is my second pair of Giesswein and I love them. Great quality and exceptionally comfortable. I like the fact that my feet are warm but not hot like some slippers. They actually let your feet breathe. I'm definitely a customer for life.

Love these slippers, they're very comfortable and functional. They keep your feet warm without overheating. Perfect for those of us who suffer from plantar fasciitis.

I wanted a house shoe with excellent arch support. I'm uncomfortable going barefooted yet I didn't want to be tracking dirt into the house. These shoes are perfect. I could wear them all day long with no pain in my feet or legs. They have a removable cork insert that provides good arch support and they can adjusted for a snug fit around the ankle. They are not house slippers in that you can't just slip your foot it. You do need to put them on. But once they're on you'll never want to take them off. They run about a half size big. I wear a 7.5 to 8 and I ordered a 38. The arch hits me in just the right place. Highly recommended!

Great shoe to hop to grocery store or anywhere short distance. Attractive, too.. My narrow foot in size 8 did not fit well: too short in length and too wide in width. I love the style and color. Sorry I couldn't keep them

These run true to size. After reading the reviews, I got a size smaller and they were too short.

Right out of the box, these felt amazing. I recently fractured my 2nd metatarsal and needed a house shoe that was comfy and had excellent support. I can't do a clog style because I'm going up and down stairs, carrying my baby around all day. I need something that stays safely on my foot. This fits the bill. I can possibly finally stop wearing shoes in my house with these slippers. My issue with most slippers are 1) the get too hot and sweaty and 2) lack of support. This slipper/house shoe handles both problems. Very satisfied.

I have been looking for a closed slipper (as opposed to a slide) for a few years, and I need arch support. This slipper is excellent with one caveat. I have a high instep and the high throat puts pressure on my instep. I'm going to try to stretch it while damp, and remove the tie, and hope that will help. But overall, an excellent slipper. Also, the pressure on the instep creates friction on my skin from the zigzag stitching at that point, so that also is troublesome. Still, I think I can play with this. If I can ease that opening a bit, I would enthusiastically give it 5 stars for comfort. And note, warm without being suffocating.

Love these slippers. Have had a pair for at least 10 years which I love. I don't wear them very often, mainly because I like slides, and these take more effort to put on. At the time they didn't make slides. I bought them when I lived in Europe. They are comfy, but I think slightly small to marked size.

Love these slippers! Comfortable with great arch support! True to size. Because of the support & sole, I wear them a lot! Highly recommend these slippers/ shoes.

I'm a slipper snob and I wear slippers 100% of the time I'm inside. I have associated price with quality as far as slippers go, and have always ultimately been very disappointed. SO FAR, these are absolutely the best quality and feel of any slipper I've ever tried over my last 15 years of slippers. I was hesitant because of the price but took a chance. Extremely pleased and couldn't be happier with these. The slipper itself is as good as it gets, but the insole is the big stand out.

Slippers are FAB. So Fab that they are the best Slippers that I have ever owned.
