Wonderful! So comfortable. After years of searching for the right slipper I have found them!

Fantastic slippers, worth every penny. They are comfortable, warm but not too warm, soft, and attractive (for a slipper). The arch support is excellent. The sole is pliable, and gets good traction on wood and tile floors. The quality is superb -- I am certain these will last a very long time, even with daily wear. I work from home, and these are my go-to shoes. I hesitated because of the price, but am really glad I splurged. Love them!

Love the arch support for overpronation. Normally wear orthotics in all my shoes but do not need at all for these. Can wear all day at home in great comfort. I only wish I dared to wear as a shoe when I go out and about - but I did buy the red ones. Maybe try in dark color. Size 41 for womens size 9.5 and I do think runs a bit small but not too small. I have put sheep's wool in the toes for a tiny bit extra padding as the toes box is quite stiff (not gonna get holes in the toes of these slippers unlike Ugg boots which always get holes with a lot of wear). They are extremely well made and I am sure they will last for years so are worth the high price. I bought another style of Giesswein last year and they have worn very well with almost daily wear.

I have an arch problem and these slippers are absolutely great in the arch and great in overall comfort. I have never seen anything like it. Please disregard my five stars on style. I think they look great, but I am a poor evaluator for style.

This is the best slipper that I have ever owned. I called Zappos to return a pair of slippers that I had bought earlier this season as after one month the tread was gone, and the very helpful sales associate suggested others for me to try. I chose this one and am extremely happy with them. I know this may sound crazy, but I look forward to coming home from work to put on my slippers. They are extraordinarily comfortable, warm (but not too warm), and hard great arch support. While they are pricey, after wearing them for a month I can honestly say that they are worth the money. They are also extremely well made, and I do not foresee having to buy new slippers for a number of years to come. I highly recommend these!

I am very happy with these slippers. However, I tried contacting their customer service both by email and phone on three different occasions. Nobody got back to me regarding my concerns. I decided to contact Zappos. Zappos was absolutely incredible! Awesome customer service. They never disappoint. I must admit though I will NEVER purchase another product from this company. They obviously don't care about their customers. Very disappointing.

I have been looking for a good pair of slippers for a couple of months. Poor Zappos....they have sent so many to my doorstep only to have them returned. This pair caught my eye because I am a knitter and I love boiled wool. I have read most of the other reviews about these being too small and recommending that you go one whole size larger. I am between a 7.5 and an 8.0 US size, Wide Foot and I have a high instep. I followed their advice I ordered a 9.0 US but it was way too big. So back it went. I then ordered a size 8.0 and it is just perfect. I actually took out the footbed with arch support and instead inserted a sheepskin insole that I found on Zappos from OLD FRIEND. Expensive, but this is a great winter slipper!

These slippers fit great and they are wonderful. I like the way they fit under my feet, because they give me some support under my arches. They are warm, they stay on, but they are also easy to slip on and off. I can step outside in them because of the sturdy soles. They were very expensive, but the reviews convinced me they are worth it. I agree!

Giesswein slippers are my personal favorite due to their superior arch support. The wool keeps my feet warm but they do not sweat, truly an all year, all weather product. The Vent is new for me; I wanted a rubber sole that would allow me to run an errand or grab the mail in our typically moist WA climate. I also wanted my heel covered, as slip on's tend the make too much noise when I walk and don't keep my feet as warm. All of these parameters were addressed with this style, but frankly ladies, it's not very cute. There are others that have flowers and details making them MUCH more attractive, but don't have the rubber sole. So I decided to forgo the pretty for the functional this time. I understand these are unisex as well, which explains the lack of embellishments :) Based on reviews I ordered a size larger, but in reality needed a size smaller (I'm usually an 8 and had to get a 7 equivalent). The inside doesn't have a fuzzy insert nor wool liner on the footbed, FYI. It's still fine for bare feet, but ideally I like a little something snuggy. I usually wear a thin sock with them anyway. I can (& often do) wear these ALL day with great support and comfort.

Warm, sturdy and excellent support. A great slipper. Followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a full size larger. Fits great.

I love love these slippers! I need to have proper arch support in all shoes including slippers. These slippers have fantastic arch support and extremely comfortable. They keep your feet warm. I am hoping in the summer they will keep my feet cool. I love being able to wear them outside if needed. I would highly recommend them. I really wanted a cute pair of Ugg slippers, but the support and fit just weren't there. The support and structure is worth every penny.

These slippers are GREAT! Every great review of this slipper is true, arch support is great, I guess it depends on your foot. The big point on these is the size. They get smaller as the size goes up. Some reviews said an 8 is true to size a 10 needed to go one size up, I wear size 11 and a 13 was perfect! Hope this helps! And of corse Zappos is fantastic!

I asked my husband for these slippers for Christmas this year and he obliged! I wanted them as slippers, not as shoes, so I do not care about style, I care about comfort. My last sheepskin slippers had worn to the point where there was not much of anything but leather in the bottom of my slippers, which offered zero support and warmth and had me pounding around on our hard wood floors. So I came looking for a slipper with support and quality construction, something that might last for more than a year or two. I work from home, so I live in my slippers almost all year round. Although quite expensive for slippers, they are so awesome and comfortable!! I did as others said and ordered a size up--I am a size 9 women's and usually wear 40's in EU sizes, so I got a 41 and they are perfect as slippers with a little room and when I wear my thicker wool socks with them, wow! They are worth every penny and I also got a pair for my hubby as well, so we both have great, supportive slippers, although I got the Giesswein Veitsch for him because he likes slip-on slippers.

I took advise from a reviewer saying to purchase one size up for men's size 9, so a size 43 fit my husband feet perfectly. He says they are very comfortable and would purchase again. They are good looking, too!

I am very happy with my new slippers! They are warm to wear, and the built-in arch support helps to stretch and relax the foot muscles as I walk around. the construction is really clever, the sole built to last. They are well worth the investment! Personally, I also like the odd look.

These are really nice slippers/shoes. They are warm and comfortable. They provide good arch support. I wear a ladies 8 and ordered a 39 which was the right size.

I can't express how comfy these are! They keep your feet very warm, they are super comfortable in the arch and give great support. They run small; I wear a woman's 9, and got the 41 and they fit perfectly. I would recommend these to anyone who wants toasty warm feet in a comfortable shoe!

Very good arch and ankle support for those with flat feet. Though they may be a little hard to get in to at first, they do give. I like the front toggle, which tightens up the slipper. They fit, but I wih they were just a tad longer. Pricey, but I can walk around the house without pain, so worth it.

This is everything I was looking for in a house slipper. Warm, great sole for outdoors and good arch support. Bought some great boiled wool Haflinger slippers last winter, but wore through the sole.

I read so many positive reviews about these house shoes that I had to try them. Like many, I have plantar fasciitis and needed good support. These shoes are great and super comfortable but... Fit is tricky. They seem to run small. Highly recommended.

I was really looking forward to getting these via UPS. I have super high arches and the reviews were awesome regarding arch support. The slipper was too big (I am a 7½ - it was recommended that I order a size 39). I don't know if it's because the sizing was off, but the slipper did not have enough arch support for me. They are unfortunately getting returned. I have no idea what to buy. I wish Dansko made a nice soft slipper. These slippers appear very well made and are kind of cute.

These are great slippers/run outside shoes! They provide excellent support though they run small so get a size larger, but I am really impressed and find it hard to not walk around outside with them all the time. Though I guess I could due to good sole and boiled wool! I will probably get a second pair not in bright red so i can use them outside more often.

I am really happy with these. The cork sole is both cushy and firmly supportive somehow. The surrounding wool keeps my feet warm. My feet are 9 1/2 and the size 43 fits them perfectly, with enough space for flexing, but not too much room so that my feet aren't sliding around in them.

I spend a lot of time working from home and needed warm slippers with excellent arch support. My days of buying unsupportive shoes are long gone! Choice was pretty limited and I gulped when I saw the price - I don't think I've ever spent more on slippers before. But I pay this much for outdoor shoes in order to get the support I need, so why not for slippers I will spend most of my time in? Just had to adjust my mind set and I'm glad I did. These are by far the best slippers I have ever owned. Really good arch support (might be too much for some people) and a very roomy toe box. The sole is hard but it give it some time, I got used to it quickly. I recently pulled them out because of a few cooler days and I was reminded of how amazing they are. My summer "slippers" (athletic slides) are extremely inferior. I can't wait till it gets cool enough to wear my Giesswein slippers regularly!

Very comfortable slippers, great arch support. I usually order a half size larger in slippers, so I got an 8. They fit great.
