I have several pairs of Naot's that I love, but these sandals unfortunately did not fit me. I'm a size 7, and bought the 7, but my foot kept slipping too far forward in the footbed. Very cute slides, but sadly, I had to return these.

This scuff has a nice, comfortable foot bed, but I am having trouble keeping these guys on my feet. They feel like they need a strap in back to keep them from falling off. The style is very cute, and despite the height of the sole, they do not feel tall or clompy-heavy. The material over the top is a little tight but will likely form-fit itself over time, if I can keep them on. The material is a little slippery while also a little elastic. Other reviewers have written that they do not flap, but they do for me -- not like rubber thongs, but enough to be a little noisy. Despite all this, I am keeping them in the hopes that they work out, but I do feel like I might have to invent some sort of strap across the back since my feet slide out a bit with each step.

I was really excited to get these sandals. I used to have a pair just like them years ago. I think the band was suede, maybe? The fit was good, but the elastic was too elastic. It stretched when I walked and the back of the shoes flapped on my foot. not so good. They're going back.

Great comfy slip on for short periods, but impossible for walking more than a few feet. If you are just kicking around the house these are great, comfy, and stylish. But they lack arch support or stability, so, they are more like nice slippers than actual shoes.

Wanted to love these. I adore Naot and this platform is right on trend. I have medium to wide feet and these were wide. I also have a high instep. When I walked they just backed off my foot and I felt like they wouldn't stay on. Incredibly disappointed. I thought for sure these would be a hit!

Loved the style, the stretchy vamp held my foot perfectly in place when I walked. The length was perfect, the heel shape was perfect, unlike birkenstocks and mephistos that for me, are a bit too long, and have wider heels, in the same size of a 7.5 or a 38. Comfort could have been the best, but they were too narrow at the toes for me. the fit was like a narrow Birkenstock. not like a regular width at all and my toes were squished together making it impossible to walk naturally.

The size is the only problem! The right foot was a perfect fit, but the left foot was 1 size too large! This has never been an issue with my other Naot shoes (or other brands), so I am very disappointed. The style is great, and very soft and comfy…. except too loose on one foot! Beautiful otherwise!

Chunky but funky. I love the look of these slides with their thick soles and big corky flatforms. I fully expected them to be too narrow for my feet but they fit perfectly. But, but...I think they would be excruciatingly uncomfortable where the band comes over the top of your toes at the front of the shoe. Just a few steps around my apartment made me feel like they would ravage my skin there if I wore them for actually walking around in. They also felt a bit loose over my arches. With a sorry heart, I will be returning these.

I have been wearing these frequently for a few weeks. Hoping they would break in. But, they just don't fit me right. It's hard to walk in them, I feel like I walk out of them and have to stop to wiggle my foot back in. I have a high instep and thought the stretchy top would work well, but it's not so stretchy. Someone else mentioned that it didn't make a flip flop noise for them. It definitely does for me.

These look great on paper but I am not liking how they look on my feet. I think you have to have long legs and thin ankles. I do not! They are well made and comfortable, no problems there. The black fabric has maybe too much give causing the heel to snap up (very slightly) but I was not counting on having these shoes feel like flip-flops but they do. They are great looking, though.

I'd had a pair of similar Naots years ago that I loved and were my favorite shoe: black stretch, open toe, platform, wedge heel. So I was thrilled when I saw these. However, the top is much longer than the previous pair. These go from my toes almost to my ankle. They are less attractive on my foot and not as comfortable. However, I liked them enough to keep them. They look nice with jeans, skirts, even shorts. And Naot makes a good shoe. I hope they bring back the other style.

Elastic us too large and loose. Couldn't keep them on.

Way too big overall

Yikes, opened the box and went to the computer to initiate a return. I could see the glue where the upper connected to the sole. Also, the elastic upper was tight... on the upside if you have a really narrow foot, these are light weight and given the right fit, seem like they'd be comfortable. I'd have kept them if they were $50...

My Zappos-recommended size was a 41 (US 10) so I went with that and it was huge. Exchanged for 40 and still too loose on my foot, makes that flop flop sound when I walk. I have a pair of Naot Rome sandals that are over 10 years old and still look brand new...I'd like to get another pair of Naots but this style won't work for me.

As of yesterday, I've gently worn these shoes just 5 times over the several weeks I've owned them. Unfortunately, I've had to concede that they're altogether unwearable. For $130, had expectations of quality, comfort, and durability. These held up more like (or even maybe less than) $20 one-offs from Target. Pros: - Substantial foam base; comfortable for my plantar fasciitis. - I personally like the style. Cons: - Tension of upper material is inconsistent — the fabric on one shoe has stretched out so severely that the shoe nearly slips off my foot with each step. The fabric on the other shoe is so restrictive and inflexible that even after five wears, I am unable to slide my foot all the way through, with the result that my heel hangs over the back ridge. Ouch! - The black fabric is a magnet for dust and dirt. I've only used these shoes for walking in town and already, the upper appears grimy and worn. - Way, way, way overpriced for the quality and durability. So disappointed to have to retired these shoes. I will note that along with this order, I also purchased a pair of Naot Kaylas. I love those and hope to get a lot more use out of them over time!

returning this b/c it's very chunky looking, not at all flattering. also the strap is so tight that it distracts from usual comfort of Naots.

I'm giving up. Obviously, from a quick scan of the reviews there are multitudes of wearers who are happy. I'm not one of them. I've tried three pairs, even went down a size, but the swath of fabric that holds the foot in place has been consistently inconsistent in the pairs that I've tried, which generally means that one or both were cut too large, e.g., not snug enough to hold my foot in place, and certainly not snug enough to plan for any stretch that might come with use. I've had other wrap sandals and so it's not my feet, it's the shoe. Wish it wasn't so.

Zappos customer service was beyond excellent. Not thrilled with the shoe however. I preface with - my sister recommended the shoe and loves the pair she has. I purchased two pair - normal size 7 (I wear a 7.5 shoe) and had to return for a size 6. Decided to return the second pair after wearing the first pair for a day. Shoes are too hard and tend to slip off my foot when walking.

The soles of these shoes felt so soft and welcoming for my tired feet. Unfortunately, I have to return them because the stretch fabric over the insole was just a bit tight where it stretches over the toe area. The shoes were made well, as all Naots I have owned.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have many pairs of Naot shoes ande they fit and feel like gloves. These shoes are hard and painful to wear!

The wrong size was delivered.

Very comfortable footbed. However, I have to agree with another reviewer. The stretch top of the shoe is too stretchy. As another reviewer commented, and I will second, there is inconsistency in the construction of this sandal. Again, in the stretch. I purchased this same pair of sandals from another store. Same deal. They slip off of my foot because the stretch is stretched out.

These sandals are very heavy. I did not wear them but once.
