I love this shoe from Naot because it hugs my skinny foot. Unfortunately, the tightness of the elastic varies on the shoes. This specific pair was too loose. There are similar styles by Naot, a little confusing. Alana and Tampa, and one other style. I tried Alana and Tampa, not working this time. I had these before and the fit and comfort was great. Too bad since they are an every day workhorse shoe for summer and look good with skirts, dresses, shorts, and long pants.

I love these shoes, but they flip flop too much against my heel. I often suffer from plantar fascitis and try not to wear shoes that do that.

It took me two days to decide to keep these shoes. They’re comfortable and fit well lengthwise, but I don’t find the elastic band all that comfortable. My feet are quite wide and the band is a bit too tight. It sort of pushes my foot out of the shoe at the back, because it’s so tight, so I find myself readjusting after walking in the shoes. I’m hoping that the bands will loosen up with time, because in all other ways I like these shoes. The sole is comfortable and the arch support is good. I get foot and back pain from flip flops and slides, so these shoes are just what I was looking for. Overall, I’m quite happy with them and glad I decided to keep them.

Great shoe it just flops when i walk. Not sure if it will take me on summer vacation. I like the fact that it is a slip on for the airport.

These felt true to size and the foot bed is very comfortable. Even cuter in person. However, for me, the extra wide elastic caused an odd heal 'slap' when walking - you know that flip flop heal sound?. Sending them back and keeping the Naot Alana - very similar but a less severe elastic top.

Cute shoes that I couldn't resist. Very comfortable except for the stretchy band, which seems a little tight. I have a pretty wide food with a high instep, so maybe that's why. I'm hoping the fabric will give a little more with time.

This is a clunky sort of mule. The footbed is really nice as is the stretch fabric. It's a cute, in a funky sort of way, shoe but it's going back. Felt like it was going to slip off when I was walking. Didn't care for the lift with every step I took. Too bad. I liked it.

Fits beautifully right out of the box. I am currently struggling with bursitis in one of my heels and require a slight lift from my otherwise flat shoes & sandals...this seems to work well and is comfortable as are my other Naots.

With my numerous foot ailments I am on a constant quest for comfortable shoes. I cringe at how un-pretty the majority are. These shoes actually look better in person, and are quite comfortable. I ordered 3 others pairs as well, but these are the only I am keeping. I have a pretty narrow foot, and the top flexible strap keeps them in place comfortably. My friend tried them on too, and she never wears any heel. These are not high at all, the sides come up and give the illusion of height. They are mostly even slightly platform sandals and she found them comfortable too. I would love them if they were higher, but they don't hurt so that's the best I can get.

These shoes are very comfortable and look great. My only slight issue with them is that they rub at the base of my big toenails, making them a little sore. Would not plan on wearing them all day.

Love these! Would've given them a 5 except their Size 34/US 4 is a solid US Size 5. Please make more colors (tan/taupe, navy/demin & brown/choc)!

This was exactly the look I was searching for in a casual, comfortable sandal, and I love Naot's shoes. However, the band felt as if it was about to break my lateral arch. Sadly, had to send back.

I love these shoes! Comfy footbed with a look that doesn't scream "comfort shoes". They run a little small and the strap is tight. I normally wear a "B" width but I need a "C" with this shoe.

I really wanted to love this shoe! The support is great and I like the look but the sizing just didn't work for me. My regular size 8 or 39 was too big. The strap across the top of my foot wasn't snug enough but when I sized down, the shoe was too tight. I'm wearing them around the house hoping that they'll stretch out a bit so I don't have to send them back!

These shoes are very comfortable. I would say more on the casual side, but can be worn with liner slacks for a nice look. They are a little clunkier and heavier than my other Naot shoes. They fit fine, I have a medium width foot and high instep and they fit very well snug but not too tight.

First I bought and sent back a 38 since it was way too big. I then ordered a 37 and while I really like the way the shoe looks, it keeps sliding off and my foot ends up hanging off the end. The size is correct since when I set my foot in the shoe it feels and looks right and it's just that when I walk, the shoe just slides off. I am sad about this since I totally like how the shoe looks and feels when I am standing still!

This is a very comfy shoe for someone dealing with chronic foot pain (bone spur and arthritis); however, they do tend to become looser and looser each time I wear them. Footbed conforms to my highly arched feet, but they are a tad heavy. Overall though, they don't cause any pain, so this alone deserves five stars.

Okay, so I am new to orthotics. Suddenly, I came down with plantar fasciitis. I also have flat feet, no arch...and am a bit pudgy...not a great combination. It was recommended that I purchase Dansko or Naot shoes. I love slides so I splurged and decided to try these. Boy, am I glad I did. They are very comfortable, and I love the arch support. My only complaint is that the elastic does not hold my foot in quite tight enough to be able to walk at more than a very slow pace in these for fear they will flop off...sort of more of a flip flop feel I would say...but a bit more stable. The sole is divine and the looks, albeit a bit of a "Shrek" look, isn't too bad. I paired it with my black leggings and it looked quite nice...would not wear it with a dress or skirt because it is too heavy looking. It has a thick platform so be forewarned...that can make for a heavier appearance so it isn't the slenderizing type of shoe! But for comfort, you can't beat it and it will be good to schlep around town in!

It felt like I as wearing my fathers whoes. Mostly in width I think. The lower ones fit quite differently - and are still available after 20 years! (I have worn my old ones quite hard).

I never had any issues with any other pair of Naot shoes before this pair. There is absolutely no stretch in the material across the top of the shoe. The material is also too wide in that it cuts the skin just above my big toenail. Not that comfortable. If I had not worn them several times I would be returning them.

The vamp is not long enough, so the shoe flops. The sole is not quite wide enough in the mid-foot, and the outsole is a bit slippery. Not really cute either, but that was expected. Not impressed for a shoe of this price.

Felt chunky and wide. My flat feet didn’t like the arch. Sorry need to return.

generally, these shoes are comfortable. width works well. the band at the toe area is very tight. with wear, i'm hoping they will stretch a bit with wear.
