Bought these for my husband, so the comments are actually from him. The sandals are comfortable, though it did take about a week to get them adjusted to the width. The width seemed just a bit wider than what most mediums would be. This is a nice, casual sandal for around the house and informal activities. Do suggest following the enclosed literature and applying waterproofing, especially if wearing outside when weather is rainy.

The fit was great and the width was fine thanks to the adjustable straps. My husband was so happy his old Naot's were still repairable but after 20 years it was time to buy a new pair. You won't regret buying a pair of Naot's they are much nicer than Berkenstock's.

My second pair of Naots -- first pair had the ankle strap, I wish these did. They are still comfortable, although the quality is somewhat lacking, i.e., the straps on the left shoe are longer than on the right, making so I had to punch an extra hole in each to make them fit better.

I have never had a shoe without a break in need. Just slipped these on and went. Naot is not inexpensive but you get a quality shoe with form fitting support where you need it. Size was perfect, my usual. My first pair but not my last.

Husband loves wearing them. The buckles are adjustable so easy to adjust width.

My son is so happy with these! Having big feet, size 16 makes it hard to find shoes that are both popular and quality in his size. He was very happy with them.

I purchased these sandals for my husband who is suffering with plantar fasciitis. The sandals have alleviated his pain significantly. They are very attractive as well.

I've had 2 pairs of these sandals in buffalo leather. They're fantastic. I'm about to purchase my 3rd pair in 9 years. (First pair was eaten by my dog, second pair is still going strong but I'd like a larger size.) I recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a simple sandal. Price has definitely gone up in the past 9 years though.

My 17 year old son, with size 14 feet, loves these shoes. He requested Birkenstocks, but they do not come in his size. Naots offer an excellent alternative that include cork footbed, deep heel well and arch support. After wearing sloppy skateboard shoes for years, he is amazed how comfortable his feet are.

I love them! They are more attractive than the Birkenstock ones I've had. They have a more upscale look and feel fabulous. They are my first pair without the heel strap and I don't miss it at all. I tried several other more expensive brands and found these to be the most attractive and comfortable for casual use.

This sandal looks great and seems to be well-made. I was astounded with how narrow and uncomfortable it was, however. I don’t have particularly wide feet either. Very disappointed.

Needed a pair of sandals my husband can wear while walking streets of Paris : these will be perfect ! Spending next 2 weeks breaking them in before trip

I need a large size if I would like to wear socks.

Birks are too sloppy, i guess narrow would be better, but hard to find. These Naots fit well, nicely snug across the foot. Cork footbed provides support and comfort. Happy customer here!!

I bought these hoping the fit was a little more “snug” than Birkenstocks which were sloppy. Mission accomplished. Very happy with my Naot purchase

I bought these for my husband who has size both wide and large (14-15) sized feet. He really likes them and wants to get a second pair so he has one for everyday.

Not as cushioned as I hoped for but otherwise great.

I ordered the Naot Santa Barbara and I have had them for about four days now. Overall I like them. I have a fairly high arch and I have tried the Birkenstock regular and soft bed Arizona style sandals, but I just never could get use to the higher arch support in them. (I wore Birkenstocks for about a year) The Santa Barbara's arch supports, but does not dig into my arch like the Birkenstocks did. And the Santa Barbara has good metatarsal support also, which I need as I can get large calluses on the balls of my feet. It does take a few days to get them loosened up so they are not so stiff. My only real complaint so far is the underside of the buffalo leather straps. The leather is a little course and rubs. Hopefully this will soften with time and be more comfortable. One thing to note when buying sandals. Most men's shoes will have somewhere between a 1/2 to 1 inch heel elevation. The heel elevation can make your calve muscle shorten up a bit. Which means going to a flat sandal will start stretching your calve muscle back out. So you may have some stiffness and a little calve pain for a few days.

The fit and size was right except for the fact that I needed a narrow (size 11 US) and these were a medium shoe size. Unfortunately, I must return them for a slightly better fit. Hopefully, in a size 11 narrow.

Long footbed and much more narrow than birkenstocks. Just ended up looking like poor arizona rip offs. Wish birkenstock made larger sizes these days.
