Definitely not at all like my last pair. Cheaper leather (thinner and stiffer) and dye (comes off on your hand and has an unpleasant smell. Left is noticeably not a mirror image of the right. Worth maybe $60-80 retail when compared to other name brands. a non-premium product at a premium pricing.

Well, these are not the Naots of 20 years ago. The front of the shoe has an odd shape around the big toe that is excessively wide making them look awkward. The dye on the straps came off on my fingers as I put them on for the first time. Dye looks sprayed on The straps are thinner leather and stiffer than before (the old straps were suaded(?) to be soft from the box. A good comfortable sandal worth no where near what they are charging now.

These shows like Birks are not for fashion, but comfort and good posture. That being said the leather straps were incredibly tough and gave me blisters and were just downright uncomfortable. I know some people may love them, but I will Never buy another pair. Birks or bust!
