Great pants. Thick waistband, fits at natural waist and thicker than some leggings I've tried. You could order a size down and be ok. As usual Zappos service is amazing!

Great fit. Material is thicker than most I've owned before. They are dressier than most. Also, not the fading that happens with other leggings.

These are the most comfortable,slenderizing pants I own. They're a great quality, and have some weight to them. I love the pull-on style -- no extra bulk from belt loops, zippers, pockets, etc.

I received these pants today, after ordering yesterday, again thanks Zappo's for the fast delivery. These pants fit like a dream! If you watch the video description they look exactly like it! The length is perfect. Seems a tad longer than 29" but perfect on me. I'm 5'7" kind of tall, but I have longer legs so they hit perfect just below my ankles. Will look great with heels or flats. They will be able to be dressed up or down. The fabric is a nice weight for a dressy top or blazer, or a sweater or tee shirt.

Fabric is nice and thick (and not shiny) unlike many leggings on the market. I thought they ran just a little long but that was easily fixed with some minor alterations (or you could scrunch them at the bottom if you prefer that look). I was concerned the tummy tuck panel would feel like a girdle and be uncomfortable but it isn't at all. I'm usually a 4 or 6 in NYDJ denim and bought these in a size 4 -- a size 6 would have been too large. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a heavier weight ponte legging.

I have worn NYDJ leggings for years. They are comfortable, and I like the thickness of the material. They are very flattering on and have a comfortable waistband. However, these leggings are just a touch too long, and bag up around my ankles. Think I just need to order a pair with 30" Inseam if available.

Nice fabric but odd sizing. They run at least a size large, even the tags say they are sized large. The tummy control does nothing for me as I don’t carry my extra weight there. Length is 2” longer then stated on Zappos- I ordered a size 4, online sizing is for a 2. Pretty big difference. I’m hoping if I wash and dry them they will shrink a bit. For reference I”m 5’4” and 131 pounds. Maybe the size 2 would fit me better, but I worry the legs would be too snug, I want a skinny pant not a tight.

These are well constructed and substantial, and they successfully smooth out any ripples I may or may not have in my thighs. Comfortable and versatile. My only complaint is that the wide elastic tends to roll within the waistband when I pull them on, so I then have to take some time to straighten it out.

I bought these for a trip to Spain and they did not disappoint. Extremely comfortable and flattering to my body type, plus they didn't bag out at the knees despite being worn day after day. Grab a pair while you can! (The reason for the 4 stars is the elastic in the waistband got a little twisted after a while, but I was able to work it back flat with some patience.)

It might just be my particular body shape (although I don't think I'm all that special), but the waistband gaps quite a bit. I bought both a size 4 and a size 6 and both gap. To minimize the gap, I have to wear the size four, but the leggings are less comfortable. The gap in the size 6 is so significant that the band can be seen through any top that is even a little fitted. I like the leggings, but wish they fit a bit better at the waist.

I love NYDJs and had tried a different style of their leggings that had pockets and belt loops but they didn't fit well. These leggings are absolutely beautiful. They fit at the waist and have enough length in the legs and fit nice and snugly. I purchased at kept the size 4; I am 5'4" and weigh 120 pounds and they fit like a glove. I return the size 6 that I bought because they were much too roomy. They are a nice medium weight and a beautiful fabric. I have not worn them yet so I will have to update my review. I have found with other brands that the knees pull out which I cannot stand. I am hoping that these will wear as well as they look. At the cost, I will be very disappointed if they do not. I will give them a four star rating until I wear and wash them.

I am wearing them today and they are most comfortable. One critique - they are long. I am 5'8" and the are a bit bunched at the ankle. Good tummy control.

Love these - they're thick enough to wear as pants as there is no see through whatsoever, and they are cut pretty long with baggy ankles (I'm 5'7"). The wide band makes them very comfortable, but it can twist inside the hem sometimes, needing readjustment every time I pull them up.

These were my first NYDJ purchase and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. They are extremely comfortable...while they feel like leggings, they look like slim fitting pants. My only complaint is that the felt about a half size too big; mostly this affects the rise and waist. For me, it's most comfortable to wear then a little higher than my natural waist (definitely wear with a tunic otherwise the look would be very reminiscent of Urkel) or roll the waistband down. I plan to buy one size smaller and see how those fit, but in the interim, I'm definitely keeping the pair I already purchased.

Beautiful fabric, soft and heavy, well fitting leggings, but wow, so long! I sent these back for the petites...I'm 5'4" and they were way too long, and with the heavy fabric, don't "puddle" nicely around the ankles. Tall girls, enjoy!

I'm 5'7 170ish lbs so not a tiny person. I don't like legging that are super super tight in the legs because they make me look sausage-y and I HATE leggings that I have to yank up all day long. I have a pair of NYDJ black leggings that are about 5 years old that are neither too tight nor too fall-y down-y. they're still going strong, but I wanted to get an identical pair because they are very good for traveling. I guess NYDJ stopped making the exact style of my old ones and these were the closest I could fine. They're ok. I kept them. But my old pair is the go-to and these are definitely the back-up.

These pants are OK, but nothing special. I was expecting them to be tighter, holding everything in and they feel too big, even though the size seems right. I'm 5.1 and weight about 160 pounds. I'm a size 10 in NYDJ. They fit, but FEEL big...I don't know, it's just something about them.. plus they sag at the knees and are way too long (at least for me.) They also don't feel supportive enough around the waist. I keep having to pull them up in order to cover the belly. It's not that they roll down, they don't, but they feel too light weight and the material, while soft and comfy, does not hide what needs to be hidden. In general, they are somewhere in the middle between pants and leggings, without the nice, tight, compact feeling you get from leggings. On the other hand, they're too thin and unstylish to be worn as pants. I have a pair of the Clair pull on leggings -which are WAY better and more flattering.

I loved these leggings so much that I quickly ordered two more pair. The fit was fabulous and in the beginning, the extra wide waistband lays flat so nicely. There is one problem though. After several washings the elastic band inside the waistband has folded in half or has become distorted in some way so that when you put them on you have to work the fold out of the waistband so it lays flat like it did when they were brand new. Poor construction in my opinion. And it has happened on all three pair. I will not purchase anymore pairs. Still fighting with the waistband on the three I have. Other then that, they are great leggings.

I have several pairs of NYD pants, and I love them all. I was so looking forward to the leggings, but sadly, I was very disappointed in them. I got black, the color is fine, but they are so thick that I feel really constricted in them, and I don't have heavy legs. The waist is really large. The length is great for those that have longer legs, which I do. I have been sitting wearing them for about an hour and they feel very uncomfortable in the crotch and upper legs, so they will have to go back. And I do have to admit, I was cranky that they had gone on sale right after I bought them!

Very disappointed in these knit leggings. At first they were fabulous. I only wore them a few times (like 2 or 3) over the first months and didn't wear at all in the warmer months. Got them out this fall and wore a few (3-4 more times) and the waistband completely lost the stretch and I'm not that big to have stretched it out. In fact, I lost some weight and thought at first that I had lost so much weight that they were too big, but no, the waist band had no elasticity. I tried to wear them because I wanted them for the gym or yoga but they won't stay up. Seriously, less than 10 washings, never put in drier.
