The fit and the size of these is great. They are really substantial for a slipper. I'd almost call them a "house shoe" and for that I love them. The down side is that I have two dogs, and I don't vacuum enough. My wife is red-haired, and if you looked at my slippers you would know all of these things, because the felt-like material the upper is made from picks up and holds the hair. That said, I will wear them daily and would buy another pair in a minute.

I am a woman with large feet and I have a hard time finding the right combination of size and style. My previous slippers (also Foamtreads, but a ladies' design) the rubber of the sole wore out--those were my third pair of that style, so I decided to try something different. I am wearing these now, and I've been wearing them around the house since I received them. They are very comfortable, and I like that they're sturdy enough to go out on the porch, in the garage or get the mail. The bumpy texture of the sole gives them more grip than many other slippers as well. I am very happy, and I expect that they'll last longer than the other style I tried.

Comfortable, lightweight; able to be worn outside if necessary. As I have a foot prone to plantar fasciitis, I was looking forward to some arch support and heel cushioning. I did not like the insole, however. It seemed to be thick in the middle and thin at the edges. Instead of cupping the heel it felt high-centered. So I put in my own insoles and now it's fine. I like that it doesn't fall off when I exercise in the morning.

My husband likes the slippers. They are comfortable and easy to wear. His only issue is that the heel is not stiff enough to be able to slip his foot into the slipper without pulling up the heel. He would order again.

I bought Foamtreads Desmond f9.5 wide for my son after returning two pairs of Patagonians that were to narrow and didn't come in wide width. My other son liked his. The wide fit and he said he they were comfortable, had a good arch support but since there fabric and not leather like the Patagonians he probably won't ware them to run to the store. They look to much like a slipper.

Comfortable. Lightweight. Warm, but not so warm your feet sweat like with so many others. All around, it's a great slipper. Much better than the last one I tried. The only change I would suggest would be more arch support in the footbed.

These shoes were exactly as advertised and I am very pleased with them.

Great slipper, just a little much in the summer. Very warm. Seem to run a tad large.

Tags in foot bed very annoying. Not much foot cushioning I’ll need to add Dr Scholls inserts. Foamtreads Not.

Very comfortable. Worn only indoors, they have just recently begun to fall apart after about a year-and-a-half. Well, I didn't expect them to last forever!

These slippers were just too tight on my feet out of the box. I had ordered other styles/brands to try multiple slippers and although I liked the style, they were just too tight to wear comfortably. I would recommend an upsize if you do purchase.

When I first received my Foamtreads I was very satisfied. After about a week or so of wear I felt it wasn't as comfortable under my heal. Turns out Foamtreads sews their logo in the heal area of both slippers taking away the nice foam feel. Why would you sew a logo in the area where you need the most foam cushion??

I didn't fine these very comfortable. As others mentioned they are quite a bit heavier than what you would expect from a slipper. The sole is quite heavy and rigid. I don't have wide feet and for me they didn't hold my heel in comfortably. Also the fabric does attract lint. I was looking for something a bit softer and more secure.

Even with the wide version, the toe box on this shoe was way too tight.

The toe box was tapered and very tight on my toes. I could only wear them for 30 minutes before my toes hurt and fell asleep.

Label both sewn and glued to insole made them unwearable. Had to return.

Smaller than labeled. Seemed cheap despite price. Would not buy again.

What a disappointment! This was the second pair of Foamtreads Desmond that I purchased for my husband. I bought him a pair in brown several months ago. He loved them so much I ordered a pair in the black. IT WAS NOTHING LIKE the brown pair. The slipper was totally different and not comfortable at all. The sole of the shoe was very thin with very little support. I called to see why it was a different shoe and the rep was not able to tell me why. I was not going to exchange it for another pair. Probably the same. VERY disappointed and very surprised that Zappos showed one pair of slippers online, but sent me a totally different pair of slipper. So surprised because I having been using Zappos for years and always received the merchandise that I ordered.
