Very stiff shoe...I think even if it had fit, it would have been too stiff for me. I wear a 5-5 1/2, but even the 5 slipped on my heel. Beautiful shoe though.

I just received these boots. They look nice, and they fit my feet, but i can't even take 5 steps in them they are so uncomfortable. Why? As someone else said, the sole is hard as a rock. Something about this shoe hurts immediately when i try to walk, and they are not too small! So that's not the problem. My feet feel like they're walking on cement blocks. I really wanted these shoes and they look nice but i'll be crippled if i try to wear these anywhere that requires more than 5 steps, and even those 5 steps are excruciating.

I loved the bootie style, just couldn't get them on.... the side with the zipper kept sliding in the boot going to try one more thing, a long handled shoe horn. If that doesn't work I will ship them back. Breaks my heart, love them!

Sadly, the boots are both very stiff and also very clunky looking. Like Kleenex boxes on my feet... I'm disappointed and returning them.

not at all as expected! Bought these for my daughter, but due to the furry material, they are being returned. I love zappos for their easy returns and customer service!

Very expensive but cheaply made. Scraped my heel on a curb and damaged the AMAZINGLY thin leather overlay. Huge cheap plastic underneath:(. So disappointing!!!

Not a shoe for people with any type of foot problems; shoe is very hard and slick soled.

Was not able to even get the shoe on my foot in either of the two sizes I ordered. I have other low boots with a side zipper in one of those sizes and have no problem getting them on. Love the styling but can't really evaluate any of the other parameters. Unfortunately, in this review rubric, there's no allowing for the fact that you couldn't even get the shoe on your foot. I hate giving the shoe a one star rating overall and re: comfort since I couldn't even try them on but can't submit my review unless I rate those dimensions.

I couldn't slide my foot in the boot. It has a hard shell around the heel which made it impossible to slide in my foot all the way. Runs small, but not sure how small.

I had such high hopes for these but they just did not work for me. I have wide feet. The width of the shoe was ok but the instep was so tiny! Had to return. Great color tho.

The Sam Edelman Petty boots are cute, but they were not comfortable at all. They have little to no padding and absolutely no support. I tried 2 sizes and neither worked. Definitely would recommend Blondo over these Sam Edelman boots!

I loved these shoes. The leather felt nice and thick and the shoe appeared to be made well. However, after about a month of wear, a piece of the heel chipped off. The yellowish body of the heel is now very conspicuously showing through. If these shoes were half the price I might expect this, but given their hefty price tag I cannot recommend them for purchase.

Just got my size 7W. My usual size. Could not even get my foot in it. Love the color. Returning it and ordering 8W. Hope it fits!

I always wear the same size 4 in all shoes. I could not get my foot into the bootie. The zipper part not wide enough and the heel too stiff it kept bending in.

Totally uncomfortable. The fit is very weird with these. I normally wear a 7.5 and have a slightly wide foot. I got a 7.5W in these. They are so cute, but they felt like my toes were getting crushed... from the top, not the sides. This is not a width issue, it feels like there is not enough vertical space in the toes. Although there was enough room lengthwise in the shoe, it seemed like where it was cut to curve did not match my foot. Have never had this experience with a bootie before. Very poor fit.

When I first got these shoes I loved them! However, after less than three weeks of wearing them, there is already a tear in the zipper. I am so upset! I am hoping I can exchange them!

I love these booties and have in another color, but this style is not good - all of the fur wore off in the first few months of wear leaving white spots of missing fur - now they look cheap and worn and are totally unwearable! Do not waste your money and get them in a different color/material.

These shoes started falling apart after just five wears. The toe is pulling away from the sole, and the covering on the heel has peeled away to reveal plastic underneath (so much for a stacked wood heel). I will be returning these and will not purchase Sam Edelman in the future.

I am surprised these boots have such good reviews. For the price I was not expecting the highest quality shoes, but the quality of these is simply unacceptable. I have worn them maybe 4 or 5 times since I received them, and already they are showing wear and tear equivalent to a year's worth of walking: the cover of the stacked heel has started to peel off, revealing the plastic underneath; the heel is already wearing down; and the sole is pulling away from the upper at the toe. And to top it off, the manmade lining does not breathe at all. I will be returning these and will not be purchasing Sam Edelmans again.

Trying to put these on I had to use a shoe horn for help. Then getting them on and wearing around, the left shoe was fine; however, the right side rubbed my pinky toe uncomfortably. I really wanted to like these but I want to return and get something that fits nicer!

This was a disappointment. They look great. The leather seems to be of good quality but they are really uncomfortable. The footbed is stiff and I can't imagine walking in these for any amount of time. I really like the look of them but for me, they are unwearable.
