Every year I splurge on one expensive pair of boots. Typically they are the Frye or Cole Haan brand. This year I purchased a pair of Frye's (which I adore), but I also decided to splurge and buy a pair of the Petty since it was a lower price point item for me. I can not tell you how happy I am with this purchase. I wear them just as often, if not more than my expensive boots. The heel is the perfect height and I am able to wear these with my skinny jeans, leggings and boot cut jeans. I would not say the boot is overly comfortable with cushioning of any kind, but my feet have never felt overly tired at the end of an eight hour day either. There was no breaking in period to speak of either. I love these so much I may go back for the putty color. I do wish they would offer a full grain leather version though - the only problem with black suede is that sometimes I look down and my shoes look dusty/dirty.

I had been looking at this boot for some time. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, so I ordered both. The 9.5 was too big, with a medium thick sock, so I kept the 9 (which initially felt a little tight). Glad I kept the 9 after wearing only two times, they have stretched. Look great with jeans. Love them!

I love the simplicity of this boot. It makes me feel like I'm strong, as good as anyone else, able to dance, and command any situation that requires a woman to be in control of her mastery! Awesome very handsome footwear!

I love thee boots so much. They are cool without trying too hard, comfortable, the perfect heel height, a great finish to most outfits, putty color (and cocoa brown) are perfect neutrals shades. I have two pairs and would gladly buy more if I could. Give them a try!

I absolutely love these shoes. Perfect fit, perfect where they hit the ankle, perfect heel height. Gorgeous expensive looking, so glad I found them.

Love this on trend, perfect go with everything color bootie. I've been looking for something with a lower heel that I can wear with my skinnies and skirts to shake things up a bit but still stay in the background and these are the ticket! I normally wear a 9.5 but exchanged them (in less than 24 hours) for a size 9 which is perfect. Already lots of compliments so look out spring and summer -- the color is year round!

Great reasonably priced bootie and comfortable but attractive shape (not as western as some of the other options).

These are the most comfortable boots you can imagine. Good looking, easy off-and-on, versatile. I wear 7-1/2 and they fit me perfectly - no slipping heel. The putty color goes with everything, but I loved the boots so much I got a black pair after only a day or so of wearing the first pair. Don't think you'll be disappointed with these.

Have been looking for this boot all my life - chic but comfortable. On me, it's a little tight in the toe box for which I deducted one star, but completely worth it for such style. I'm sure it will stretch as it is very high quality suede. Heel height is perfect and the boot is easy to walk in.

These booties are totally comfortable. I found them true to size. I have a narrow foot and with a thick sock, these fit perfectly. I like their narrow look (but they don't feel narrow). I find the contrasting piping accents add extra style and looks expensive? This detail is very well finished. The color is pretty accurate to the photo. These are my "walking" boots now.

Beautiful boot and very comfortable! I'm between sizes (7 1/2 & 8) I ordered both and kept the 8. The return procedure was very simple and it's great that they pay for all the shipping costs! I would order again from Zappos.

I love these booties! They are extremely comfortable, though run a little large. I ordered my normal size of 8½ and I could have gone with an 8. I wear them with nylon footies rather than socks so that may account for why they feel a little large. I ordered them in nude leopard and they are adorable. I have never received as many compliments on a pair of shoes (from both women and men!) as I have with these. I will definitely order more in other colors.

These are absolutely beautiful boots - I love them! Alas, they are too narrow. I will try to get them wider.

I have a black pair and the putty color. LOVE them! Perfect fit for me and comfortable! I have narrow feet and usually wear a 9 and a half. These fit me perfectly in a 9. That is why I marked the fit at a half size larger and also narrower. I have had surgery on both of my ankles and have trouble wearing heels. This height is also perfect and I wore them right away with no breaking in. What more can I say? I LOVE them. Also, the black looks beautiful and I think they look classy in both colors and I have received many compliments on them.

This is the first pair of Edelman shoe I've purchased they were comfortable right out of the box, I wore them with my jeans all day so if you're looking for great shoe I would suggest this one. I'm 7 1/2 and they fit true to size.

Very happy with the leopard booties. They fit well and are comfortable all day. I like the quality and the natural leather uppers. I have bought other Sam Edelman boots and find the brand very wearable but with a lot of flair.

These booties are the best! I have them in 3 colors and I wish they made brown and camel! I have similar booties that cost 5 times as much, but I always reach for these instead. So easy, so comfortable! I just hope they make them in leather for the spring!

I have them in every color! You can dress them up or down. They feel amazing! Love them! When I find something I like I buy more . It's not everyday you fine a great pair of boots.

I have a problem foot, a bunion, so I was worried about the slender width, but the suede breaks in nicely. Haven't had a single issue since I put them on and wore them out of the store!

Have been looking for a pair of boots like this for 12 months. Love these. Look great, feel great and the color and heel work with anything.

This is a beautiful, well made shoe. I purchased the putty color and the shoes are even prettier than the online photo. I am a solid size 7 in any brand, but I found these shoes a bit loose in the heel in size 7. I ordered a 6.5 to see if they fit any better or if I would need shoe pads for the size 7. Zappos is too awesome...I ordered the 6.5 at 630ish in the evening Pacific time, and I received the size 6.5 just shy of 24 hrs later. Amazing! The 6.5 was sleeker on me and fit beautifully. I'm pretty surprised I wear a 6.5 but I think these shoes run a half size larger. The shoes are very comfortable with just the right heel height. This shoe changes my wardrobe! It adds a fashionable edge to my skinny jeans and sweaters. I love this shoe so much, I've purchased them in black. Thank you, Zappos!

I love the booties. Color is perfectly neutral and the heal size is just right too. They truly "go" with everything. Size is true. You won't be disappointed. I love Zappos b/c of the customer service. My first order was lost and they were responsive and extremely friendly.

Absolute bootie perfection! These boots are so comfy and true to the picture. Sam Edelman is my favorite shoe brand. These boots are stylish and cute...what else does a girl need! The only "bad" thing is the foot of the bootie requires a padding for the ball of my foot. I needed a little bit more cushioning.
