Definitely true to size. I usually vary between 7-8 depending on the brand so when I first ordered this shoe I went with a side of caution and got the 7.5 and it was definitely too large. Overall, super cute bootie!

Perfect ankle bootie - I had these in the tan suede and have been scouring stores for a weather-friendly black leather version. They're just that good.

A very stylish, comfortable bootie. Boot height at the ankle is perfect, slimming and doesn't cut in or rub. I have a narrow arch but wide foot. I could walk for days in them. The look great with pants, crop pants and dresses.

This is a gorgeous boot and I loved how it looked. However, I have narrow heels and my heel rose very high on each step. I could pull off the boot without unzipping it. Too bad! Very handsome boot.

I ordered 8.5 (used to be 8), it is too flat in toe box for my hammer toes, and not padded enough for my tender feet. Sorry Zappos.

These are well made shoes with very soft leather. They felt so good in my hand, unfortunately the 9 was a tad too small and the 9.5 a tad too big.

Most comfortable boots I've worn! These are my go-to boots anytime of year. I wear them with business pant suits as well as just dress pants. I've had the black suede pair at a size 7M but prefer the black leather at 6.5M. I am usually a 6.5 in heels so I would go with your heels size. The suede pair had an issue with the zipper but after I worn them down. This is my second pair and will order the same style in the future!

I love these! took a couple days to break in but they look super cute with skirts and pants. I originally ordered a size 8, but they were too long in the toe and loose, so I went down half a size.

These shoes are beautiful and comfortable. I can wear them with jeans or nicer pants. My 17-year old wears them with everything. Comfortable enough to walk long distances.

Only had these shoes for two weeks now. But they seem to have broken in fine. In fact, there wasn't really a break-in period. They were comfy right out of the box. They look good with everything. The only thing negatives I would say about them is that the color is much lighter than the images and that there really is no cushion in the sole. So they are fine to wear on my commute to the office, but they aren't the type of shoe you can walk all day in. Maybe I will feel differently after these puppies have molded to my feet.

The color is more gray, I was thinking of returning them because I love the brown and blue jean look. It's taking some time to break them in! Beautiful boot!

I love Sam Edelman shoes, they always fit perfectly. I wear a size 8 and these are true to size. I would not recommend wearing without socks, though! I paired them with skinny jeans and headed off to the mall...bad idea. I had blisters on my toe for a week!Get them! The style is current, and they are really comfortable with a thin sock.

Gorgeous shoe. Lots of compliments. I have huge feet -- size 12, rather wide -- and these fit in both length and width (after one or two days of stretching out a bit with wear). Hip and current design. Couldn't be happier with them!

So I have had my eye on these boots for quite a while! About a year now... Well I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago, and it was so worth the wait. These boots go with everything! I wore them with dresses and shorts as it transitioned into fall here and now they look equally as cute with tights and jeans. They are pretty comfortable too, only 1 day of pinching when I first got them, which is expected. Seriously these are my 5/7 day shoes. Get them now.

Probably one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I am never comfortable in anything. I wore these the first day a solid 8 hours, and they never hurt. I have ordered them in 4 other colors. Just got the leopard print the other day. Gorgeous! Constantly getting compliments wherever I am. I'm all about comfort, but I still want an edgy style.

This is my third pair of these very basic go-to booties. Thought the color was closer to navy but it is not, it is more like a teal, tones of both blue and green, but looks great with jeans.

I loved these boots but they are not the right color. They are much lighter and more silvery than the color pictured. I really wanted to keep them, but I don't like the color.

My first pair of Sam Edelmans boots. I have a high arch and sensitive feet and these are so comfortable. Can wear them all day long with no problem. Very stylish. Love them.

These boots were so comfortable from the minute I put them on. Wore in the rain and got spotted but brushed right out. Love them so much, I will buy another color in the same style.

These boots, my first Sam Edelman's, look great and feel great. I've just realized that I'm a "boot girl" and not a "ballet flat girl" - they just look and feel better on my feet. So I got these in the black, teal and maroon shades and am keeping all three. I love the suede, it's comfy, but I do recommend using a suede treatment (I used some spray stuff from the shoe section at my local Target store) on them before wearing or they will stain. I wear either a 9 1/2 or 10 and ordered both sizes. The 10's felt better, so I would not go down a size. My feet are wide across the metatarsals and suede stretches, so while a bit tight with the first couple of wears, they are now perfect. And they are not too wide across the heel, which can be a problem with wide sizing. There's not a lot in the way of support, but unless you have plantar fasciitis or are going hiking in them, they are pretty comfy to wear to work all day; I'm up and down (not constantly walking or standing). I get lots of compliments and these are a nice compromise between a very flat, utility looking boot and a spiky heel. They look great with jeans, slacks and skirts. I really love these boots and will try this brand again in the future.

These boots are perfect. I got the black suede and they are so comfortable that, though I got them as a dressy shoe, I will probably be wearing them all the time. They seem really well constructed and they fit really well. My feet are a bit wide so I tend to get pinching with any pointier too. I was worried with these, but they seem really comfortable (have only just tried them on). The heel is a little lift and looks dressy but they are still really comfortable. They are also easy to get on with the side zip. I usually wear a 7-7 1/2 and I got a 7 1/2 to accommodate socks. The 7 would definitely have pinched my toes. Looking forward to wearing these into the spring!

I have been eyeing these boots for a year. After getting and comparing numerous similar boots from other brands I finally decided to buy these. Originally I wanted the putty suede but the cocoa one was on sale so I bought the cocoa color. The color is not dark or too light but a delightful British Tan color (lighter than my new Madewell Transport tote in tan). I like the fact that this color goes with black, blue, green, and stone, very versatile and less dirt would show (vs. the putty color). They are comfortable to walk due to the low heel height. The suede is nice to the touch. I like the zipper being on the inside to give the boot a more polished look. I know why so many people swear by Petty, judging from thousands of photos posted online. They are truly well made, well designed, and highly versatile boots. I will get the black color when I see a pair on sale for sure.
