These boots, my first Sam Edelman's, look great and feel great. I've just realized that I'm a "boot girl" and not a "ballet flat girl" - they just look and feel better on my feet. So I got these in the black, teal and maroon shades and am keeping all three. I love the suede, it's comfy, but I do recommend using a suede treatment (I used some spray stuff from the shoe section at my local Target store) on them before wearing or they will stain. I wear either a 9 1/2 or 10 and ordered both sizes. The 10's felt better, so I would not go down a size. My feet are wide across the metatarsals and suede stretches, so while a bit tight with the first couple of wears, they are now perfect. And they are not too wide across the heel, which can be a problem with wide sizing. There's not a lot in the way of support, but unless you have plantar fasciitis or are going hiking in them, they are pretty comfy to wear to work all day; I'm up and down (not constantly walking or standing). I get lots of compliments and these are a nice compromise between a very flat, utility looking boot and a spiky heel. They look great with jeans, slacks and skirts. I really love these boots and will try this brand again in the future.

These boots are perfect. I got the black suede and they are so comfortable that, though I got them as a dressy shoe, I will probably be wearing them all the time. They seem really well constructed and they fit really well. My feet are a bit wide so I tend to get pinching with any pointier too. I was worried with these, but they seem really comfortable (have only just tried them on). The heel is a little lift and looks dressy but they are still really comfortable. They are also easy to get on with the side zip. I usually wear a 7-7 1/2 and I got a 7 1/2 to accommodate socks. The 7 would definitely have pinched my toes. Looking forward to wearing these into the spring!

Love these ankle boots...so versatile, and extremely comfortable for a fashion boot. The color is more grey than in the picture...goes with everything. I have a high arch and a wider foot and these are perfect. Could walk in them all day.

I have been eyeing these boots for a year. After getting and comparing numerous similar boots from other brands I finally decided to buy these. Originally I wanted the putty suede but the cocoa one was on sale so I bought the cocoa color. The color is not dark or too light but a delightful British Tan color (lighter than my new Madewell Transport tote in tan). I like the fact that this color goes with black, blue, green, and stone, very versatile and less dirt would show (vs. the putty color). They are comfortable to walk due to the low heel height. The suede is nice to the touch. I like the zipper being on the inside to give the boot a more polished look. I know why so many people swear by Petty, judging from thousands of photos posted online. They are truly well made, well designed, and highly versatile boots. I will get the black color when I see a pair on sale for sure.

I have received so many compliments on these boots! I got them in black leather. They go with just about everything. I wear them with dresses and jeans/pants. Looks great with a pair of pants folded up at the hem. I am so glad I bought them. They are stylish and comfortable and are meeting my fall fashion needs!

I love these booties! They fit true to size, and are really comfortable from the start. Sam Edelman shoes and boots continue to be one of my favorite brands; they are predictably comfortable and easy to wear.

These are great looking boots! I "think" they fit...and I only say that because I'm pregnant and have swollen feet. So, I'm keeping them until my feet go back to normal! Pretty sure they will work and look fabulous!

My Petty's have just arrived and I loved them right out of the box! The Putty colour is more grey- taupe rather than a light tan as it shows in the picture. But still, this bootie is so versatile and the suede is very lovely. They fit true to size I'm usually an 8-9 so I got an 8.5. Toe area is somewhat narrow that may cause an issue for people with wider feet but I believe the suede will give in after a few wearings. Great bootie and quality made! What more can a girl ask for. Besides three more pairs?

I just ordered these, in the black suede. I had tried them on, at Lord & Taylor, and I really liked them the suede is super soft!, but decided that day not to get them. I went back today Sunday, and was going to buy them, and they sold out in my size. I tried another pair similar, by another designer, and it just didn't do it for me, like the Sam Edelman did. So, here I am ordering the black suede in my size, which they had, just 1 left. Yay! I got my bootie for the begining of Fall. They are awesome! I love that super soft suede.

I got these in both "putty" and under the petty 2 I got the new "navy". I purchased both thinking I would just keep one pair but I loved them so much I ended up keeping both. The navy looks more like a deep shade of gray and I loved them. The putty is a neutral color that I find I can wear with anything. I receive so many complements on them whenever I wear them. They are not very comfortable for long distances as the bottom of the shoe is very hard souled... but I wasn't expecting them to be orthotic either. Great price for a trendy shoe. Plus who doesn't love Sam Edelman. They go with EVERYTHING: dresses, skirts, leggings, skinny jeans, shorts, tights, you name it. They run a little narrow if you have wide feet like me I would recommend ordering 1/2 size up. I ordered true to my size and wear thin socks or tights with them mostly. Hope this helps! Buy them you won't retreat it!

Can you really love a shoe? The answer is yes! These are adorable stylish, super comfortable, and the heel and sole are so quiet. No clomping noises as you enter the room. The fit is accurate. I wear a 9½ and have slightly wide feet. The 9½M does not feel tight. They are perfect for my feet.

Beautiful suede, extremely well made. Glove-like fit to my foot. Probably custom made for a rock star, but they're mine! Understated elegance, good with jeans or dress pants. They just happen to match a boiled wool jacket I have, so they'll be getting lots of looks this fall. Don't be jealous so get your own!

Cute bootie, but was disappointed in the color. Not at all as pictured. Fits true to size and comfortable. I have the Petty II in Praline and love them. Love that Zappos gets it to me overnight!

I usually wear a size 11.5M, but this fits me well in 11M. Beautiful, simple bootie. Nicely made, quality materials. I would wear this with just about anything. Wish I had all the other colors!

These shoes are so fabulous. The heel height is wonderful. Great for walking longer distances but staying stylish. Sam Edelman make my favorite boots. I now have 3 pairs. The fit is so comfortable and there is zero break in time. I don't think I'll buy another brand of boots!

Love these booties! I ordered three colors black, putty and smokey praline because I couldn't decide and I want to keep all of them! Very comfy and stylish.

Perfect ankle bootie. I bought the cashew and the black suede but really wanted the black leather. It wasn't being sold at the time so I went and bought the black suede. They're selling the black leather again and I bought it but now regret buying the suede. The black suede doesn't feel like real suede more like pseudo suede. So if you're deciding between the two, the leather looks a lot nicer! But it's a lot more expensive than the suede. Other than that, the shoe is the perfect height of not being too high and uncomfortable and I can easily wear them all day and they match so many outfits!

These boots are perfect and i get compliments on them all of the time. Don't know how they'll hold up over time but so far so good...

For those of us who can't wear sky high heels, these are the perfect boots. My puppy thinks so too -- I just bought my second pair at Zappos because he chewed the first pair up! And these are boots I can't live without. These go with everything. I love the color and the shape -- they are neutral and not too western. Plus, I feel sure-footed in them. Very easy to walk in them, with just enough lift. If I wear them with pants, I don't wear these with socks though. I think they would be difficult to put on with socks on. Tights or nothing work great.

These boots are my favorite shoe purchase so far. They go with everything and the fit is great. They are such a flattering height.

Very cute booties. I have a narrow foot so I struggle to find cute shoes. These are not narrow enough, but since they are booties, I can wear a low sock or add an insole. Happily the ankle is not super wide, like some. They are adorable!

I love my new booties! I'm having problem with one of my feet, but they fit right and are comfortable after walking for a long while. This is the first time I buy Sam Edelman and now I'm checking new styles all the time.

Love these black, suede booties. I wear a size 9 and these fit perfectly. Comfortable right from the get-go. I wear them with my skinny jeans almost every day...also have them in putty. I now have four pairs of Sam Edelman boots...reasonably priced, trendy, comfortable...try them, you'll like them.

Love these booties...dressy to go out for the evening and great with a a pair of skinny jeans for daytime knock around outfit. Color goes with everything!

I got those boots in Leopard last October with clear idea to "shake-up" the sleepy, hiking boots addicted country where I'm living - Switzerland. I was fully succeeded. In fact my boots were not only shocking for locals in Switzerland, but also very noticeable in Paris too. There I spend half of my time walking many hours every day. The Leopard patten very "flashy" and stylish. Those boots are perfect straight away from the box, no "breaking" time necessary. I also ordered snake print, but I did not see them yet. They are waiting for me in US.
