Normally 8-1/2 Wide women's size. Went with the 9 in these slippers based on reviews. The pile made it snug enough to feel cozy on my foot, but knowing the pile would eventually mat down, and the leather stretch, I knew it would end up too big. Plus I could already feel, just trying it on for the first time, that the back of back rim of the slipper was so low that my heel would tend to slip out of the shoe. These are going back. With the back being so low, I doubt if I will try the size 8. Otherwise, the pile was very nice, and there was no sense of being too tight anywhere, even with my wide foot.

I wanted to love these but they were way too small! I ordered a size 9, I have Ugg boots purchased recently in size 9 that are a little too big and I have to wear two pairs of socks, so I expected these to fit or even be too big. My toes were pushed up against the front of the shoe! I should have ordered a size 10. Most of my other shoes are 8.5 so I was surprised at how small these are. The style is very nice however so I may order again in a size 10.

I have bought Ansleys for several years in size eight. This new pair was too big. Seems like they have changed the footbed. Too bad they don’t come in half sizes!

ordered the dark grape color. beautiful but looked like this lower sides and back were worn. small. I wear a 12 in Ugg’s slippers and it felt like an 11.
I sent back… now that they are made in China, I will no longer order them. they are making them cheaper. not to last.

I wear the same size in every other pair of Ugg’s I own. I ordered these in a 12 and I’m so disappointed that they are too small. Sad to be returning.

The Ugg Ansley is very soft, fairly supportive, and cozy (although not as cozy as Lands' End Wicked Good Moccasins). It felt more like a loafer than a slipper.....kind of ruined any "relaxation mode" I wanted to achieve. The support was pretty good, but I was not too happy with the fact that the rubber sole doesn't wrap up the side (for better durability). I wear a 6.5 wide, and the Ansley 7 fit me perfectly. Definitely recommend sizing up for half-sizes. Sadly, I had to return these because I preferred the Lands' End slipper.

I have gone back and forth with this slipper! I ordered my regular size 9, which was WAY to tight on my toes! I then ordered the size 10, and my heel would slip out! (I suppose in this slipper, I am a true 9.5, which is not made. ) SO- I ordered the Ugg coquette in a size 9, which fits perfectly and i am in love with it. Just like Goldlilocks,- too big, too small, JUST RIGHT. If you are between sizes, try the Ugg coquette.

I wear a size 7 1/2 and I usually wear a half size smaller, (size 7) in UGG slippers. However, the size 7 was far too small, so I returned it (Thanks Zappos for such easy returns) and ordered a half-size up, size 8. The size 8 feels true to a size 7 1/2. The slippers are cute, cozy and warm. I wish they had some arch support, though. I would definitely buy them again.

For reference I usually wear an 8.5N.
I tried these in both an 8 and a 9. Neither fit, which was very disappointing as these are really cute slippers with a cozy, plush, warm lining. In the 8 my toes were crunched and in the 9 they came off my heel when walking.
I bet if these were made in half sizes, I’d be wearing new cozy slippers right now. As it is, I am still looking for a pair that fits.

This is my second pair of this style. My first pair was a size 7. A tad short, but used them anyway. This time I ordered a size 8 and they were to big. I really would love if you could make them in half sizes.

My old LLBean slippers were wearing out after a year or so and I decided to go with a new pair of Uggs as their products are very high quality and the price wasn’t too far off from new LLBean slippers. I am an 8.5 medium width shoe and I got a size 9. These are pretty snug, but I expect the fluffy interior would wear down over time and result in a less snug fit. After a few days I can see this is already happening. These seem narrow to me but are fine for my feet. Keep in mind I am used to old sloppy slippers that did not stay on my foot that well. If you have a wide foot it might not fit you well. I like the color (light grey) and the look. I wish there were more colors like blue, green, etc. There is a rubber sole that looks/feels like a driving moccasin. For me the rubber sole seems to ‘roll’ my feet outward a bit but not too much. Doesn’t bother me but might you. I can feel it is less pronounced the longer I wear them. All in all I like the slippers but gave them a 4.5 due to the sole and the tight fit (which might go away the longer I wear them).

These are ok. I knew they would be slightly small and hope that they will stretch. I was disappointed that the left and right shoe did not match exactly. The right shoe is slightly misaligned and the fur is not consistent all around. After ordering 2 pairs of uggs from Zappos, I fear that I might be getting the “not quite perfect” versions.

Ordered this Ansley slipper in black, size 8 (my usual size). The width was fine; soft comfortable lining, and the black was deep and rich. The length was tight; my large toe was right against the end of the slipper. After reading all the reviews, I wondered if it might stretch enough to be more comfortable. Then I decided not to take the chance (since these are pretty expensive slippers) and sent them back. I ordered the size 9 and hoped they would not be too large; but, they were. Quite large in fact and of course a bit wider. My heels slipped out with each step; so back they went too. I'm very disappointed because I've been looking for quite some time for decent looking slippers that were also comfortable and these were working for me. I'm wondering why UGG doesn't make half sizes; there must be a huge percentage of women who would buy these if they did. Back to the search for a pair of slippers!

I originally ordered the gray ansley’s in a size 7, which is the size I wear for all my other uggs, but they were very tight and my toes were touching the top of the shoe. I returned them and reordered in a size 8– much better fit. Overall, they are nice looking and comfortable. I’m sure they will last for years.

Runs small so order up if you are a 1/2 size. I wear an 81/2 and I ordered a 9 and it fits snug. I could not have worn an 8. Very cozy and comfy. I keep these at work to change out of my less comfy dress shoes. The sole makes it sturdier than a regular slipper. I am pleased with the Ansley so far

I ordered these from Nordstrom because I was making an order already. I normally wear a 10 but sized up due to customer reviews. The 11 was much too big. Returned the 11 to Nordstrom, and came back here to order the 10s because I love Zappos service. I normally prefer a soft sole for slippers, but my Ugg Birche slippers rarely made it a full season without developing a hole in the bottom, having gone through 3-4 pair over the last 3 years, I was looking for something that would last a bit longer. The soles on these aren’t terribly intrusive, they fit very well, and are comfortable as expected.

Love the look of this slipper. Having had ugg boots for years I ordered the same size. But the 8 is way too small. Retuirning for a 9 and hope they are not too big. If so sadly they will be returned too. Heres hoping the 9 fits. I do wear socks with my slippers but the 8 was very tight

Based on reviews I ordered a 10. That’s the size of all my Uggs. Although in some shoes I wear an 11. The sea green is gorgeous but they were incredibly tight. Will be exchanging for size 11. I know they are going to be amazing once I get the larger size!!

I love wearing them in a chilly morning. They're so comfortable but I wish the size would fit me better. I usually wear a 6 in most shoes, and 6.5/7 in boots for a little bit more room. But I was struggling for the sizing because 7 seems right but falls off when I walk, 6 stays on but too snug which hurts a little after a long day. Wish there is 6.5 or make it true to size!

Dear Customer Service:
I know you sell these shoes as slippers but I wear my fuschia colored slippers EVERYWHERE even to school and out shopping. No matter where I go people stop me asking where I got my fushia colored shoes. I know several people who have ordered them after seeing mine or trying them on. I have three suggestions---make the sole wider and allow it to go higher in the front to protect the front of the shoe and sell them as slippers or shoes as many people wear them outside anyways. The second suggestion is get the fushia color back as many love this color. And three---send me a freebie for all the pairs I have sold for you...hahaha!!
Also---I wanted to say my Mom has Raynaud's and I got her a pair of the chocolate classic boots and she was skeptical but these boots keep her warm and her toes are actually red from the warmth when she takes her boots off. If you aren't familiar with Raynaud's ---thhese people have blueish fingers and they can't get warm. They also risk frostbite from lack of circulation. So...your boots have a medical purpose as well and we can attest to that!!
Love your product!!
PS---buy a size smaller.
