I have been wearing Sanitas for 25 years ...the sizes on the different styles is off by 1/2 ....at least. this style is too short. But I like Sanitas much more than Danskos, so I will order another pair. I like that they are still made in Poland.

so frustrating that the same shoe I bought 3 years ago is a totally different shoe- skinny and small. So frustrating.

I do not think it is the size shows on the shoes. It is bigger than normal size.

these shoes are too small, I wear 8.5 and 39s usually fit but for some reason these are way to small..going back.

The right and the left fit like completely different shoes. Other reviewers had mentioned this problem, and I hoped to avoid it but unfortunately the shoes need to be returned. I'm a 7.5-8, and decided to get a 39 based on reviews. Normally I'm a 38 in European sizing. The left fit perfectly but the right was looser all around and just too big. I'd like to exchange them for another pair but not sure it's worth trying.

I have had a pair of these in a 38 for years and finally needed to replace them. I ordered a 38 again and they were much smaller. The two shoes are also different sizes! While the left shoe was snug, the right shoe was much smaller! I couldn't even wedge my foot I to it. I guess I'll try the next size up. Hope I get two of the same size this time.

I typically wear an 11W, but the 42 W was so tight, I could barely get my foot in. Hopefully, the next size up will do the trick!

This shoe is very comfortable. However, they got big white scuff marks after wearing them one day, and continue to get more marked up every time I wear them. I tried a damp cloth, shoe polish etc. and nothing works. I contacted Sanita's and they were no help. I usually love this brand but not anymore.

Shoe shopping is always a difficult task for me. As a child, I had to wear unfashionable tie oxfords while the rest of my classmates wore fashionable loafers. The heels of the shoes would always slide up and down. Sometimes I would walk right out of the shoe unless the shoe was securely tied to my foot. Until about 15 years ago, I was able to buy narrow width AA shoes from better shoe stores. Then I was told nobody wore narrow shoes anymore, so the stores stopped carrying them. Just to make buying shoes interesting, not only is my foot narrow, the right foot also pronates due to an overly flexible or collapsed arch. This creates more fit problems for the right foot. This shoe runs very short. It is very stiff and not at all flexible and very hard to get on. The back of the heel is uncomfortable. It punches in the back of the heel. I would rate this shoe Ouch. Cute, but only on someone else's foot.

I have had my last pair of Sanitas for five years and wear them all the time. Reading the reviews I thought maybe the sizing had changed a little so I ordered my usual size 38 plus a 39. The 39 was too big. The 38 was weird: the right shoe fit perfectly but the left was so small I almost could not get my foot in it! I also did not like the blue brush-off color that much. It is hard to tell from the picture what it really looks like, but it is basically black with blue patches instead of an overall blue the way I thought it would be.

This is the first pair of Sanitas I have owned. I bought them a few months ago per the mostly rave reviews, and unfortunately they are the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn...I tried, really I did. At first I figured they needed a break in period, but it never happened. The insole feels hard as a brick bat, and after working 10-11 hour shifts (most of that walking and the rest standing), my feet would hurt and my legs would be very tired. I tried some gel inserts, but that made the shoes too tight. To note -- Zappos gets a 5 star rating for CS -- I originally ordered a 7M (my normal size), but they were too big. I returned them no problem and they sent out a 6.5M which fit fine. The quality of workmanship for the shoes is great -- and I love the unique blue color -- but aesthetics just doesn't cut it when you're on your feet all day.

I purchased these clogs last November and I purchased without ever trying them on. I wear a 40 in most shoes but these are just a hair tight, so that I must wear nylons when I wear them. If I wear them with regular socks, it's too tight. When I first slip them on, my left heel always catches on a slightly raised nailhead, but just when I am putting them on. I wish they were a better fit. I usually wear them to work with a short skirt and black tights about once a week in the winter.

Do not hold up!!! I have been only wearing Sanita Professional Cabrio shoes for at least 15 years. I love them. They are wonderful. I only wear Sanitas, Sanitas Professional in the winter, Sanita sandals in the summer. Before I found them, my feet hurt all the time. But I am going to have to stop wearing them. The company has changed the material they use for the soles. They start to crack and fall apart in about 6 months now. My last pair only lasted about 6 months before the soles started to crack. I thought it was a fluke, I was so loyal I bought another pair. That pair just cracked and a big piece fell out this week after about 6 months of wear. The leather upper looks brand new. The shoe is unwearable. I couldn't even use these as gardening shoes now. I have another pair from about 5 years ago that are rather worn out but the sole is fine. I don't know what they have done to change the soles. I used to be able to wear a pair of these for just about 2 years. Now it is 6 months. Sadly, my favorite brand is now garbage. Don't buy.

I’ve been wearing Sinitta for 15 years they are being made different I had to go up a size last year this year ordered that same size and it’s too tight

I ordered these in a 9.5 and the brown Sanitas in a size 9.0. The 9.5 was smaller than the size 9.0, much smaller. Very tight and almost difficult to try on. Will be returning.

The sizing is one size larger than usual. I can usually fit my feet into a size 35, but this is no longer the case with the Sanita Professional Cabrio. It's an unfortunate situation, because these shoes are my favorite work horses. I am afraid that I will no longer be able to wear these wonderful shoes due to larger fit and wider width.

These shoes hurt so much. I ordered the same size I wear in Dansko and other Sanitas I have had, and tried to hang in there while the leather stretched a bit, but no go. I give up. I’ve worn the shoes several times so don’t think they are returnable. I’m simply disappointed.

Wrong color was in the box that arrived; correct size, but Bordeaux was in the box, Blue was on the label. Blue brush off 43 was not delivered and no longer available. The “one left” was the one that I received.

Very disappointed with these clogs. The fit is entirely different from previous Sanita clogs I’ve owned. After returning the first pair and hoping for a better fit with the second pair I received, sadly the second pair has proven disappointing too. I will not repeat this experience of ordering based on previous sizes that worked for me. I will purchase shoes that I can try on before buying in order to ensure a good fit.

I'm so disappointed. I've been wearing Sanitas for years (ever since Dansko offshored their production), and bought the same shoe I had previously. I wore them briefly in the house to make sure the fit was ok before wearing them outdoors. Yesterday I wore them outside and did a lot of walking, and the shoes were SO uncomfortable - the tops of a couple of my toes were rubbed raw by the time I got home.

Over the years, I've had more pairs of Dansko and Sanita clogs than I can count. This is the first pair that hasn't held up. I work in the health field and only wear them at work and for the short walk to and from my car. Most of the 3-4 days a week that I work are spent sitting, so needless to say, they get minimal wear. About 4 months after I got them the leather on the top began to bubble and later peel. I've never seen this happen with any leather shoe. Knowing that this brand of clogs can last for several years, I called Zappos to discuss the issue even though it was a little over a year since they were purchased. Before I was able to explain the problem, I was immediately shut down by the customer service rep as they said they never accept returns of worn merchandise. So, after years of wearing this brand of clogs, as well as shopping with Zappos, I'm sad to say I will no longer be doing either.

These shoes are not wide, I have a wide foot with bunions I have tried to wear them and today while I was walking in them I couldn't bear to take another step and took them off the pain was horrible. I'm giving up on Dansko's and Sanita's. When these two companies made the upper with wool/felt the material was forgiving these are not it feels like cement shoes rubbing on my bones.

I bought these shoes less than seven months ago. I had a similar pair of Danskos that I purchased in 2010 for a veterinary job where I was on my feet all day. Those shoes had been great and were finally getting fairly beat up (the rubber sole was beginning to crack from frequent crouching). After some research, I opted to try Sanita clogs as they had previously manufactured Danskos and I assumed that quality control would be more consistent since Danskos are now manufactured in many different locations. Unfortunately, I chose poorly. In the time that I have had the Sanitas, wearing them in the same conditions as my previous Danskos, they have already begun peeling somewhat on the toes. Additionally and most frustrating, the staples that run along the inner outsole (near the ball of the foot) of both shoes have started backing out constantly. Once or twice a day, I will see a few staples sticking 2-3 mm out of the shoe and have to hit them back in with the other shoe or some other hard object. Today, I am trying some glue along the staples to see if that helps. Granted, the shoes have been comfortable, so I am pleased in that regard. However, if I am paying this much for a pair of work shoes, I expect them to hold up a little bit better. Comparing my 4½ years with the Danskos versus almost 7 months with the Sanitas, I think I will go with Danskos next time.

It seems that Sanita has gone the same way as Dansko. I don't know why they changed a wonderful shoe? I ordered a 39 and 40. (just in case) 39 would be my size...right shoe great the left one much smaller (tight). The 40's were way too big. They are going back and I won't try anymore. It's a waste of time. And they are hard leather. I don't think they would ever 'break in'. And it is hard to fill in the questions that are asked because the fit was so strange.
