These shoes were weirdly tight across the top of my foot. I had to shove to get them on even with a thin sock and then they felt uncomfortably tight once on. Very odd. I'm a size 9 and have pretty average feet. I ordered a 40 which is a half size up for me. Other types of Sanitas have fit me fine. I also ordered the Dansko version of this shoe, also in a 40, and no weird tightness across the top. They're actually too big and I'll need to exchange for a 39.

Felt larger in size. Beautiful clog and wish it had fit me.

These are actually DANSKO, which are too big for me. Sanita clogs do fit, so I am trying a different pair. These look beautiful and well-made, and will please those who can wear DANSKO. I hope Zappos will fix the item description to accurately reflect the brand, because there is a difference in fit. If these fit, they would get 5 stars. Ion

I have been buying Dansko and/or Sanita clogs for twenty years and my size has always been 40 for fall/winter clogs that I wear with socks (I wear 39s for sandal-type clogs without socks). I ordered a size 40 in this pair and it was too small!!! I couldn't believe it. I've come to learn now that Sanita has changed its sizing and you now have to size up... I came back to Zappos to order the next size up and they are sold out... So bummed! Size up if you have been wearing the same size for years.

Sanita has changed their sizing and what used to fit me (size 40) is now too small. I've been wearing Dansko and Sanita size 40 for about 20 years and now I've got to size up... Too bad they are sold out of the color I want in 41 :(

Entirely too small

Extremely comfortable and great for my job where I'm on concrete all day --- however the exterior of black piping (trim) quickly degraded revealing the white interior. I've had a pair of the competitors clogs that lasted 12-14 years before I wore the sole down to the point were it split. The trim on those Danskos never showed the kind of wear. .

Super cute but not wide enough for me - I’m going to try a slightly larger size because these are absolutely adorable!

Do not hold up!!! I have been only wearing Sanita Professional Cabrio shoes for at least 15 years. I love them. They are wonderful. I only wear Sanitas, Sanitas Professional in the winter, Sanita sandals in the summer. Before I found them, my feet hurt all the time. But I am going to have to stop wearing them. The company has changed the material they use for the soles. They start to crack and fall apart in about 6 months now. My last pair only lasted about 6 months before the soles started to crack. I thought it was a fluke, I was so loyal I bought another pair. That pair just cracked and a big piece fell out this week after about 6 months of wear. The leather upper looks brand new. The shoe is unwearable. I couldn't even use these as gardening shoes now. I have another pair from about 5 years ago that are rather worn out but the sole is fine. I don't know what they have done to change the soles. I used to be able to wear a pair of these for just about 2 years. Now it is 6 months. Sadly, my favorite brand is now garbage. Don't buy.

I used to wear EU 40. After Sanita made some changes, EU 40 fit too small. Sanita is always perfect in width as it fits a touch narrower than Dansko (my size there would still be EU 40 for length though it’s a bit sloppy on my foot). Normally I wear a M width in every other shoe, size 9 pretty solidly except running shoes I typically would size up to 9.5.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes you could possibly own. Regardless if you are on your feet all day or just wearing todo errands. This pair I ordered this time was for my mom who is 80 years old and complains about her feet hurting and the uncomfortable shoes she already owns. She goes put money into her sneakers and shoes but she never has 100% comfort. She has been wearing these shoes a little over a week and says these shoes are so comfortable.

The shoes are a little bit big but I have some insoles and now they're just right. I didn't have to "break them in" like others I have bought. Very happy with my purchase!

I tried to replace a 15-year-old pair of Sanitas and alas, the sizing of Sanita's has changed. I ordered the same size I had previously, and the ones I received are too small. I went up a size and they were way too big. Changing over to Dansko.

These clogs were especially large in the heel. I couldn’t comfortably walk in them because they slipped up and down.

These shoes were very wide. The insole did not go all the way to the toe as should. Guessing just a defect on this pair.

I wish Sanita would stop using the "air" cushioned insoles. They go flat and cannot be replaced. Sanita is still my favorite clog, however.

Not the most stylish shoe, but so so comfortable and they last forever.

The sizing is so weird. I got 39, my normal size in Sanita, and they were falling off. I got a 40 in a different color and they fit but not great and I didn’t like the color. I got a 39 in the oiled leather and they were so tight I could barely get my feet in. I don’t know. I used to just buy 39s and be done but these are all over place. I will try again when they get more stock

Great except color of shoe in photo on line was different from color received.

Everything great except they were Bordeaux instead of Cordovan. Been wearing them since 1998 and now my sister in-law and niece are wearing them because they are the most comfortable shoes they ever tried on.

I didn't try them on because they were not the color of red that I thought I was buying. I think that the disconnect is that the Zappo's website shows a pair of shoes that are Cordovan but they are labeled as Bordeaux. The shoe that I received is much darker than Cordovan. I was hoping that it would be more red. I am returning them but if you get a pair of Dansko Professionals 38W in Cordovan, please let me know, I will buy them in a flash.

I own a pair of Sanita clogs in size 42 that fit great. However, the size 42 I received was quite small. The brown has a red tint to it that I am not a fan of. If they had fit, I could tell they would be extremely comfortable.

I have worn Dansko Professional Leather clogs for over 20 years but in the last couple of years I think they either changed manufacturers, or changed design specs since the arch is now too tight. If I order a half size up the length is too long and the material across the top of my foot is still really tight and constricting. So I decided to go with the Sanita's this season and they are perfect. Same look and fit as my old Danskos with nice fit under my footbed if I want to wear thicker socks in the Winter, or just go with no socks in the Fall. I love the cabrio/red caramel color, it's beautiful. Sanita now has my clog loyalty.

I’ve been wearing Sinitta for 15 years they are being made different I had to go up a size last year this year ordered that same size and it’s too tight

I actually need a size 38narrow in Dansko but cant find it in Black patent leather or black Cabrio
