I wanted to love these. I bought them to work 12 hour ER shifts. I had to have them stretched as they were much too narrow from the start. After stretching they did great for a little while, but then I noticed they were getting snug again. I started getting bruising over the top of my feet and refuse to re-stretch them so they live in the closet. Also, the grey oil is beautiful but scuffs very easily. After a few weeks of work the toes looked very worn.

Wanted to try out clogs and just never understood what people saw in these. They were a nice quality made shoe, but they are still chunky clogs. They're great if you like clogs.

I ordered up a size as recommended by other reviewers. Alas, the size I ordered is too big. My usual size would have been appropriate. Oh well. The pebbled, matte finish of the leather isn't attractive anyway.

I was so surprised that after reading reviews I received my size 37 wide Sanita professionals and they were much too big. I am usually a size 6.5 wide. I sent them back and ordered the 36 wide and they fit perfectly. Not sure if the wide version runs bigger?!? Otherwise very happy with these shoes. I am a nurse and am on my feet 12 hours a day and these are great. They feel better and more comfortable than Danskos.

I'm a fan of Sanita clogs but these were too big, the right foot also bigger than the left. In the past, had to try on a few pairs before finding a good fit. Returned.

I normally wear a woman's size ll but in clogs I typically wear a Size 43. The Sanita Professional Oil-Brown clog Size 43 runs short. My toes hit the front end of the shoe

These shoes are amazing, but unfortunately they are way too small. I am beginning rotations for pharmacy school soon and needed something with support since I will be standing on my feet all day. I researched the Danskos and Sanitas and decided to go with these. I wear a 7.5-8 and after reading the reviews, I ordered a size 39 (which is a size larger than I normally would get) and they were still painfully small. The band that goes across my foot dug in so deeply and was so painful that I don't think I can break them in and I don't know if I can get a size larger. I thought they would fit because I have really thin, narrow feet! Will be returning these and trying the Danskos.

I have been wearing Sanita and Dansko clogs for over 10 years.. unfortunately, both companies have sized down. The shoes are too small and I can barely get my foot in. It's so disappointing as I have a small, wide foot and the Sanita fit (after Dansko sized down years ago) until this year.

I found it odd that my left foot was more snug in the clog than my right because my right foot has always been slightly larger. So I returned the first pair or 38's for another pair of 38s thinking it was a defect in the shoe. But alas, the shoes as others have stated are all together too tight. I've never gone up to a 39 and in fact 39 would have been too long, so I had to say good by to this very good looking and seemingly excellent quality shoe. I gravitate between the Sanita and the Dansko. Both have served me well as a teacher.

These are great looking clogs, but finding the right fit is difficult. The Sanita size 9 was too small. I then ordered the size 10, and it is too large, very wide, and not well finished on the inside. My old pair of Dansko clogs was a size 9. They had been made in Denmark; I think they were made by Sanita. Dansko clogs are now Imported and do not fit well either. So, I continue my search for a pair of clogs.

Beautiful color, and look of this clog! Sumptuous! However, they run small & narrow, which means that you need to order up a whole size, but then the length is too long. Bummer! A beautiful clog, but the lining also rubbed on the foot & was very uncomfortable! Lovely looking clog, but ran too long for my feet!

I have experience with Dansko and Sanita. Before Dansko changed their footbed, I found the main difference was that Sanitas fit more glove-like, and the foot roll action while walking, is much smoother. I don't like Dansko's new footbed, or Dansko's overall fit, in comparison. I really like Sanita's fit -- but they are too small. (Note that it is remotely possible my feet have gotten a tiny bit bigger.) I bought this pair of oiled brown in a wide of my usual size. They were so very tight. But, I know how much my Danskos used to stretch, so I decided to work with them. I can wear them with thin socks, but my wide toe-bed still feels a little constricted. (Toe spread allowance is one of the classic design features of the clog.) They work well for riding my bicycle (so I'll keep them). But I need bigger pair for walking/standing. I will size-up 1 size this time for sure, and maybe get a different color/finish.

These are supposed to be comfort shoes, good for flat-footed people like myself. And while they did relieve my heel pain, they instead hurt my arch and my toes. It seemed to shift all the pressure on my foot that direction rather than even it out. The footbed was kind of hard and unpleasant. I'm not sure my arch lined up properly in the shoe. I did like the color though. I got the brown oil ones. Ultimately I returned them because my feet still hurt using these shoes, just in different places.

I wear Sanitas every day to work and my feet never hurt. I ordered these so I would have a black pair and they seem to be made totally different than my previous pairs. I had to break them in and they feel narrower than my others even though they say regular. I have worn them about 10 times to work since I got them and they still are not as comfortable as previous pairs of the same shoe. I have to wear really thin socks or they rub my feet. I will keep trying to break them in so they are as comfortable as my other pairs.

I sized up on these the second time I ordered because in My normal size 8 (38) my foot would swell a little after wearing for a while and they would feel too tight. The 39 gave me a bit more room as well as room for socks. However, the collar on the shoe still leaves a big indent on the top of my foot when I wear them for a few hours. It's actually a bit painful! Which is confusing because I thought these shoes were for people who work on their feet all day! I think it is because I have a high instep that I'm having the problem, if you have flatter feet I'm sure the collar across the top of the shoe won't bother you as much. It's a bummer that I've worn them a few times now and learned that they hurt my feet and I can no longer return them! Otherwise they are of well made quality and nice leather.

Not good. Even the narrow width size is wider than most wides. Poor arch support. Not safe for a safety shoe.

OMG! I love these clogs! At first I thought I got the wrong size, when in fact I just needed a wide width. When I got them back, I've been wearing them ever since. The arch support is great, my feet don't feel tired after a long day. I can go all day with these clogs! At first I started to only wear them to work, but I'll be wearing these ALL the time! Zappos customer service is the BOMB!

Really pretty shoe but my insteps were too high for the shoe and the arch support was uncomfortable. Shoe was pressing on both my arch and instep. Disappointed because I like the price over Dansko's clogs.

I read so many glowing reviews that I thought I must get these for work. Well, I have had them for about a month now and I am still breaking them in. I say that because I really cannot wear them for more than a few hours before they start to hurt somewhere. First it was my calves that hurt, but now I have seemed to adjust. These days the clogs seem to rub in weird places like the tops of my smaller toes! I feel pretty good that I got the correct size because I ordered two sizes and the larger size was almost falling off. I really really want to love these clogs, but I am not sure if that is going to happen. I like just slipping them on to do errands, so if I never quite break them in, they will do just fine for quick trips.

Love my Sanita Professional Cabrios so much, so I ordered these in the same size. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to try them out and now my toes cry while (and after) I wear them. Would be great if the sizes were consistent.

Sanita runs narrower than Dansko. I've worn Dansko for at least 10years, size 36, and love them. My last pair I went with Sanita- since they did the original Dansko. A 36 in Sanita was really tight and narrow, (I have wide feet), but the 37 was way too big (I don't like a lot of space b/w my heel and the back of the shoe). After breaking them in they are now very comfortable (was not a fun process). Next time I will go with Dansko and avoid the breaking in.

Loved these, until the soles cracked. I've seen other reviews and spoke to someone I met at the store. Same horrible problem! These are expensive shoes. Sanita must know this is a problem.

I have many pairs of Sanita Clogs. One pair is 10 years old and are still in great shape. They look great too. Unfortunately I can’t say that about these. They were so big that my feet moved all over. As well they look awful. So chunky and NOT in a good way. They are in a box to be returned.

Liked the shoes but they are super heavy and cut into top of foot

I love Sanita's they fit my narrow foot very well. I probabaly have 30 pair and I have always worn a 41for some reason I have to send this pair back. They are too short and very uncomfortable to wear.
