I wear orthodics during the day and was looking for arch support in a slipper. I was hesitant about these as I did not want a slide, but didn't have may choices that fit my needs. I've been wearing these slippers for several months and have been very happy with them. The are soft and comfy like a slipper should be. I can use the velco to secure them on my feet so they don't slide off.

I have bilateral plantar fasciitis most likely due to flat feet and over pronation. Both of my feet were injected two weeks ago. I bough these slippers in size 8. I wear an 8½AA, but bought the 8 based on other reviews. The length is fine, but they do run wide. I have the Velcro pulled as tight as possible. One pair of socks helps, but still wide. The arch support is very good. I will keep them for that reason.

These have help immensely. I wear Earth shoes (with arch support) during the day, but if I go barefoot at home my feet hurt. Wearing these keep my feet from hurting.

These run a full size large. I wear an 8½ and bought an 8. They still slip off my feet unless I wear thick socks, and I have wide feet. But they are very supportive in the heel and arch. I have plantar fasciaitis and my feet feel good in them.

This is my second pair of Gemma Mule slippers, and was disappointed that they changed. The arch support and heel comfort, while good, is not as good as it used to be. I had this same experience with my newest pair of sandals. I'm sorry Vionic has changed my favorite shoe line.

Ordered half size smaller than I normally wear and it fits perfect. Have used the old version by orthaheel and now the new version by vionic. The sole is different as well as the shape of the toe area is slightly different. The sole now has a weird pattern on it and doesn't grip the floor the same. Still breaking in the new version, but it feels like the arch support is slightly different too.

Comfy and great arch support. I wish they stayed on my feet a little better. Had to return the first pair since the fleece part wasn't covering the plastic near one of the toes. Hopefully I get a better pair with the exchange.

I have severe problems with my feet & these slippers are something I cannot live without. I have purchased three pairs and my only objection is that the inside foot pad wears out and wrinkles while the rest of the slipper stays in perfect condition.

I do like my Gemma Mule slippers, but they are a little wide, and I always feel like they are going to slip off. Make sure you buy the correct width. I believe the medium width is on the wide side.

I have foot problems so I decided to be proactive especially after I hurt my back. Happy feet Happy back, Happy Me. It runs wide, so if you have wide feet like me don't be afraid to get the medium it won't be tight and its adjustable. Its like wearing a shoe its so supportive, nice and cozy for winter. Like the instructions say so need to get used to them so wear them a couple of hours per day. The inside lining is starting to wear down after only a month and a half though. and they're heavy. Something my Grandpa would wear. Those being the only draw back. They've made quite a difference. give em a shot.

I previously had the open toe slipper in the size 9 and they fit well. This closed toe slipper is a bit snug in the size 9, but I did keep them hoping they would fit better when the plush lining mashes down. These are the only slippers I've found with arch support to help prevent foot pain.

Very comfy. I wear an 8.5 and ordered the 8 but sent it back for the 9 but now wish I had kept the 8 as they have stretched out some and now too wide. They are okay if I wear socks but barefoot they are too wide. I did need the 9 for the length, just not the width.

Purchased 2 pairs in different sizes - one for me and the other for my mom. Both of us LOVE the support provided by the slippers but found we have to wear socks with them because they are too wide. Without socks they are loose and come off our feet easily. My mom normally has to purchase wide shoes while I do not.

I like these slippers. They offer the sturdy support that Orthaheel is famous for - but with a tiny bit of cushioning. I tend to wear them with socks as the synthetic lining leaves my feet a bit sweaty. The sole is very substantial - you could wear them outside if you had to.

The arch support of this slipper is outstanding. I normally just wear socks in the house but needed to start wearing a good slipper. I could feel the difference in my arch and lower back immediately. Also am going to look at their line of shoes in the future for additional support. My only complaint is the Velcro doesn't allow for full closure - this slipper runs wider across the instep of the foot.

My arches have fallen and I require support. These worked very well. I am not going to look any further. I personally like something a little less bulky, but my knees don't hurt with this support, so I really don't care any more!

I love these slippers. They have good arch support, comfy and warm. I would recommend them to others and will probably get another pr. Zappos is wonderful!

These things are crazy wide. I wish I had sent them back but my feet hurt so much that I was anxious to see if they would make them feel better. I do think the heel helped my plantar fasciitis.

Slipper is more like a shoe than a slipper. Has excellent support, but is clunky - has a thick, hard bottom. Is at least a half-size larger than expected and a bit wider, as well. Fits better when I wear socks. Did not buy the slipper for style. Bought it to help cure my plantar fasciitis. Am considering returning it for a smaller size.

These help me so much. I not only have arthritis in my back and hip, knee's but I also have a few herniated disc's with spinal stenosis. These help so much. No, they aren't the end all be all but they sure help.And anything that helps is in my book a winner...

Since these are corrective, they take a bit of time to get used to them, usually just a few minutes, and I can't wear them all day. They are somewhat hard. I wish they had more padding, but then I am used to wearing the shearling slippers with the thick fur.

Love the way these slippers feel. The arch is so comfortable and they will keep my feet warm this winter. I am sending this pair back for an exchage because there is a piece of material inside the left slipper that was not glued properly and is rubbing on the side of my foot. Hopefully the pair they send me will be better. Overall I love this slipper and would order again. Ortaheel sandles are amazing also.

I ordered these slippers because I needed a good house shoe and most slippers in my area were cheap and lasted only a couple of months. When I got them they were comfortable and the velcro adjustment made them the perfect fit. After only wearing them for one day the pain from my heel spurs was gone. I plan on getting shoes and even sneakers by this company.

Until the insole lining became detached, I thought these slippers were perfect. Now the lining bunches up under my toes. Aside from that problem I love the Gemma Mule slippers but will return them.

1. I love the look and feel of the material. Soft and smooth. 2. the arch support is very firm and would probably provided relief for tired feet! however, 3. the arch lifted my foot in a way so as to cause my big toe to scrape along the top of the inside of the slipper. When I attempted to alter the fit by tightening the top, the edge of the upper caused pain when my foot bent mid-step. Bummer! These have to go back.
