These boots are my first Mephistos. My go-to shoes/boots are by Paul Green and Thierry Rabotin. I'm okay with paying for these brands because they fit! I need arch support, have a narrow heel and want toe space for a slight bunion. I'm "in the field" daily, going from school to school most days at work. I need good shoes! The Sarina boot impressed me at first try on! Great fit with leather that looks and feels high quality. The boots have a soft lining that feels like it will fare well in Chicago's winter. Worth the expense!

Finally! A boot that is not only comfortable, but really chic. It looks great with jeans and leggings. Not clunky like so many of the others I've tried. I completely love it. It comes with a comfort sole which I took out so I can wear a wool sock to keep me warm.

Invested in these shoes in the hopes that they are the perfect shoe for a 2 week trip to Europe. I just broke them in during a 2 day visit Disneyland. Very comfortable most of the day, but by the end of the day I wish there was just a little more padding in the soles. Happy with the styling which works with slim cut jeans as well as boot leg.

Love these shoes. They fit like a soft glove. I wore them to a football game and stumped a lot plus walked a lot. The blue is a real dark navy.

I really wanted to keep these boots - they are perfect in every way except for tightness across the toes. Lovely low-key styling, nice leather. If they came in a wide width, or if the 7 medium were just a bit wider, they would fit me - and I would wear them every day. But alas, I must send them back.

Wonderful and soft...true to Mephisto, a great arch. I just took a chance and ordered 1/2 size smaller...am hoping to get larger size when they come in!

Absolutely great fitting low boot and perfect for keeping my feet warm and comfortable about town. It's probably best to treat the beautiful leather for water, as the leather spots easily, but now that I settled on this pair, I don't want to take them off! Pricey, but well-made and worth it!

I love these boots. Yes, they are pricey, but I think they are a good investment. All my other Mephistos have lasted for years. So I expect to have these for a long time. So comfortable. And they go with so many things.

Sarina (navy). Great-looking boot with a nice touch of hardware without being over-the-top or trendy. The leather is beautiful and the fit is great. I am a long-time Mephisto customer and my only criticism of this particular boot is that it is NOT lined in leather as are the others I have purchased. My concern would be how that would hold up over the long term. For this kind of money I think it is a valid concern although it didn't prevent me from keeping the boot. As always, Zappos is a pleasure to do business with.

Another awesome boot style from Mephisto. I wear them for work as well as play. They are super comfortable and accommodate my orthotics easily. Fit is a bit snug to begin with, but leather relaxes after only a few wearings. Super pricey, but worth it because I don't want to wear anything else.

I bought these in black and love them - they are a dream they are so comfortable for my bunion. My beef is the stupid names they have for their colors. They are totally useless. I bought the "Steve brown" too since I love my black ones so much but had to return them because the color is so ugly. They are not brown by any stretch. They are an insipid beige grey. I wish they had them darker brown in my size!

I commute to New York City from CT and need comfortable boots. I have problems with both my feet and must have a great shoe. I ordered my real size 8.5 and returned them for 9. I am keeping these expensive boots and wearing them everyday. I went to 2 huge department stores with great shoe departments and tried on 20 pairs of boots, and nothing was right. These boots are so fashionable with the ankle nice and close fitting, the style very attractive and chic, the sole provides great traction and comfort and I will have these boots for a very very long time. Mephisto at Zappos - solved my problems! Thank you.

Wow! I love these! I have such trouble with one of my feet and a painful bunion. I need to be able to move my toes up and down. These are perfect. When I first opened the box I was afraid it was the wrong size (8.5) because they are so dainty. But, I slipped them on and could not believe how comfortable they are from the get go. I wish I could get another pair! I think they will look good with skirts and tights and jeans. Really classy looking!

I've had my Sarinas for over a year now and I still love them - probably even more now! Like the other reviewers say, they are totally worth the money. Very comfortable and cute, and they last. I walk miles in the city in mine and they are still in great shape. Another great thing about Mephisto is they have a "refurbishment" program where you can send your shoes directly to them to be resoled, relined, restitched, etc. But if Zappos had my size in black I'd still be tempted to get another pair to put away - just in case!

I left the midwest winter for a vacay in South America wearing these boots. The airline lost our bags so I ended up in these all week in 94 degrees. Fabulous! I have really annoying foot problems and have trouble buying shoes that fit. These are extremely high quality and glove soft - pricey, but worth it.

These boots are beautifully crafted and, like most Mephistos, incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They have a classic look that can be worn with anything, jeans, dresses, suits. Be advised, however, they are not designed for serious winter weather. They are lightly lined and the leather is delicate and supple. Best worn in the fall or winters indoors. Expensive but well worth the money.

Super comfortable boot. I can wear these all day long, walking or standing for several hours (training). Fit beautifully, lightweight, easy to get on and off. Expensive, but worth it. I can see these lasting for many years.

Finally I found a pair of boots that are dressy enough for slacks and comfortable. I tried on many other boots and this is the one for me. I have a bunion on one foot so it is impt for the shoe to not rub that area (those who have bunions know what I mean). It fits snuggly enough to not slip around. Mephisto's are expensive but my last pair lasted 13 yrs and I wear them almost everyday (in the office).

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Well worth the investment. Very cool looking, I will wear them with everything.

These are possibly the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I am a loyalist of Mephisto sandals but haven't tried their boots before. I ordered a half size up from my usual 8 because I wanted to be able to wear my orthotics in them. I'm glad I did, because the orthotics fit perfectly in them. I need better arch support than these boots provide, and I have neuromas which necessitate the orthotics. The toe box of these is wide enough that it doesn't rub the bunions on my feet. I ordered the red because the black weren't available in 8 or 8 1/2. This photo is not true to color--the red is more of an oxblood and could almost pass for brown, which I actually prefer to the red pictured above, so I am keeping them. Can't wait for the black to be restocked! The leather is soft and supple, and they are also stylish. (Mephisto has finally started making more fashionable shoes and boots.)

This boot fits like a glove. Super soft and supple but with plenty of support as well. I have had 6 surgeries on my foot and ankle due to a crushing accident 3 years ago so my foot and ankle are always tender, prone to swelling and tire easily. These feel great. I use my orthotic in the boot but it is comfortable without it as well. Quite expensive but worth every penny. They look cool and are style versatile. Most comfortable footwear I own, even more so than other Mephistos.

This boot is lovely, and the leather is as soft as a glove. However, the shaft is a bit too short, and my heels, being narrow, tended to come up out of the boot a bit, so I will regretfully have to send them back. Sorry, Zappos!

These are a great combination of comfort and style. I actually can't believe how comfortable they are considering they look nice, too. Unfortunately they didn't have my size so I ordered up a half-size, on the off-chance that they ran small, but they don't so these are a bit loose. I highly recommend these if they have your size and you don't mind the price.

This shoe feels like a kidskin glove, so comfortable. The leather is soft and supple. I wear a size 8 and it fits true to size. If you intend to wear socks, probably need to order a half size larger. Very pricey, but worth it if you need good support.

Nice boots, lovely leather and comfortable. But they were too narrow for my wide feet in the instep area. The toe is also more pointed than it looks in the picture, so my little toe hit the end. But overall the boot felt long (I usually wear 10/41). Also this particular pair arrived quite scuffed. Must return them.
