Bought my second pair! Absolutely love these sandals! No need to wear sneakers for walking (hate sneakers!). These sandals are perfect!

Other reviews stated the shoe runs large. I wear 7.5, so I ordered size 7 and it is too short. I will try size 8.

I love these shoes and have them in two colors. No need to break them in. I've already walked many miles in them.

I love these sandals! I was looking for an orthotic sandal because of foot, ankle and knee problems, but I also have a narrow foot, and can't wear sandals with a strap around the ankle. I was unable to find any narrow orthotics that were stylish, but this sandal has an adjustable strap across the top that I am able to adjust so that the sandal is not loose. The strap also holds my foot in place so that the sandal stays secure, not like a flip flop. I've gotten many compliments on the style.

I have lived in these shoes all summer. I cannot walk around barefoot and many sandals leave my feet hurting. With all Orthaheel, it takes a few weeks to get used to the high arch; however, after you break them in, they feel great and you can tell when a different shoe does not support your feet that same way. Orthaheels are terrific!

These are fantastic! I have some severe ankle issues and am constantly in pain, I put these on and the pain is greatly reduced. They are cute and have great support, I will definitely by more.

I run 15-20 miles a week and got these sandals for arch support and post-run recovery. I love them and have worn them almost exclusively all summer long. I have high arches and the arch support is in just the right spot. My feet don't feel tired at the end of the day when I've been wearing them. The sandal doesn't squeeze your foot in a narrow space, so it took a little getting used to the look of the them, because it made my feet look fatter than they normally do in a shoe. But the wider space is part of what makes the fit so great for sports recovery.

I absolutely love these shoes. I needed something with arch support to help with a hip issue. These did the trick. I have tried other Orthaheel shoes and find that they had too much support. These are perfect for my feet. I followed the advice to break in my wearing time. Now I wear them all day, every day and can even walk the mall in them. They're ideal for a hot climate and have some pizazz to them too.

This is the third pair of these sandals that I have purchased. I have had heel problems in the past, they would ache at night, but since I have worn these my problems have disappeared.

I chose these because of prior good experience with Orthaheel footbed (I have plantar fasciitis). At first I tried the other Orthaheel sandals with more straps, but they were too big or too small. I was worried these would not offer enough support but they do. Stylish. Great heel shock absorbing power. Great arch support. No foot pain, even after wearing all day long. Buy them.

This is definitely my "go to" sandal. It is virtually waterproof, but not a water shoe. Great arch support and overall comfort. Comfortable out of the box and all day long.

I like these sandals a lot. They're almost as comfortable as the "Tide" Orthaheel, but not quite. They are a bit more stylish.

I love these sandals! I was worried about them rubbing against my big toe but no worry. They are so comfortable and the straps keep my feet in them. Sometimes you can't really walk far in slip on sandals but you can in these. I wore them every day while on vacation recently. The pink and brown color combination is fun too. Since this pair I also bought other Orthaheel sandals. Finally supportive sandals that are cute.

I love these sandals- I stole them from my mother, I liked them so much. I love that they do not have as much excess shoe around the foot, like some Orthaheels. There is nit much cushioning, it is true, but with the Vibram sole I feel more connected to the ground. I like it. The only thing I do not like about these shoes is they make my feet sweat. The sandals are still secure - but wandering outside for a few hours is a recipe for stinky feet.

Great sandal - comfortable, nice arch support, velcro strap is comfortable, and sporty (not ugly). Very versatile.

While I note true to size, I recall these are only in whole sizes and I went up since I can use the Velcro strap over my arch. These shoes fit the bill for arch support and are my walk about town shoes as well as sometimes slippers to ensure arch support at home. They are casual and easy without being sloppy.

My mom has a lot of problems with her feet, her knees, her hips... you get the drift. I ordered several shoes for her and expected her not to like any, but she loves these. I'm so so glad! I tried them on too - excellent arch support and very comfortable.

I have severe plantar fasciitis and these sandals are a life saver. I really did not want to give up flip flop type sandals. These are amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Unlike other reviews, I think they are very true to size. I wear a 9 and that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly. I love them so much, only had a few days but they are great! A little pricey but so worth it. When your feet hurt, it's bad all around. Love Zappos too, the best place to shop. Excellent customer service.

I am an 8B & these are probably the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn in my life. Never a blister or red mark & I walk a lot. Normally when I come home I kick off whatever footwear I have on. These are even more comfortable than being barefoot. It's like they were made for me.

I've been battling severe plantar fasciitis for about six months, and these flip flops have been a life-saver. I wear them at all times in the house like slippers. I love them. I don't wear them out and about because I have to wear my orthotics, but they are the next best thing. I highly recommend them if you have any kind of feet issues or work on your feet all day. My hairdresser said she slides into them every night, too.

Not a bad fitting shoe. It has a good arch support that is very comfortable. The foot bed, however, is rough and takes a little getting used to.

Love 'em! Very comfortable, wonderful support, and good looking. Taking others comments, I ordered one size smaller than my usual and they're fine. However, the option for half sizes would be even better. One small complaint: the instep strap is so long that I had to cut off a piece so as not to step on it or drag it in the dirt. I would be really really happy if Orthaheel offered a sturdy supportive River Sandal for use canoeing, kayaking, and on the beach.

These are really comfortable, supportive, and cute. My only reservation is I usually wear an 8.5. I ordered 8, and they're just right in the toes, but just barely a titch too short. I can't decide if I can make it work or not. I'm confident a 9 would be too loose in the toes (as the Tides are for me). I wish they had half sizes or narrow options to account for this a bit. Beyond that, I love the idea and feel of these, and they completely support my poor plantar's fascia that gets angry in bad shoes or barefoot! The only other thing is my heel feels a little lower than it does in other Orthaheel shoes. I'm not sure I like that yet. And the toe strap. I think it's okay but I would want to walk more to make sure it won't rub. I do appreciate the extra support at the front of the foot, since the lack thereof is what's unworkable about the regular Orthaheel flip-flops for me (they're too wide and my feet slide around in those). I need to wear them around the house more to make sure they're a go for my particular feet, but overall I think they're fabulous!

I have difficult feet with very high arches and arthritis. Finding shoes that are attractive and comfortable is almost impossible. But these sandals are fantastic. I now have two pairs and will buy a third. They are definitely casual, but cute. I've had compliments on the style. I like the more subtle colors and wish there were more subtle color choices.

Overall a great sandal for pronation issues. I have boughten these before. The strings take a little breaking in and stretching. Super cushion and comfort for all mobility. Broke both bones in ankle and stretched the top ligament. So ankle does stuff unfortunately inward which effects the back and legs. Bank on these.
