I have worn the sandal, love them. Now I have two pair of these shoes. They are very comfortable; I am thinking of buying a pair for my mother and sister for Xmas.

Adorable style, love the plum color. The arch support is a little extreme feeling at first but is actually quite comfortable with some breaking in.

So disappointed. Since I discovered Orthaheel, my plantar fasciitis pain has disappeared. I still can't walk barefoot, but the shoes have drastically changed my life. I was really excited when I found these shoes come in half sizes. I usually have to go up or down to the full size. But the arch in these shoes are positioned toward the back of my foot arch and while I was walking around the house to check the fit, I actually experienced ankle pain. So, with great regret, I am returning them. I wasn't really excited about getting mary janes anyway but there were no other options. There are no other black shoes other than sneakers. I hope that there will be more design options this winter.

Very comfortable and really helped with pain from Planters Heal pain. Thought I would have to send them back as they squeaked when I started to walk. My husband suggested I put some powder between the insert and the side of the shoe. Walla!! Worked perfect

I am new to Orthaheel, but these shoes have made me a believer. My job requires me to stand for long hours at a time, and my plantar fasciitis used to keep me out of work fairly frequently. These shoes have great support! I was worried that my narrow heels would slide right out of the back, but the velcro strap allows for a lot of adjustment. I can't recommend these enough!

The only complaint is that the right one is rubbing a blister on the back of my foot, but other than that they are fantastic. So comfy, great support. I have P.F. in my left foot which causes pretty severe heel pain, but with the arch support it has lessened quite a bit. Also, I have 1 foot that sometimes (depending on brand) qualifies as an extra wide, but these have been great. The strap is a huge help. Finally something cute and smart. I'm getting the Melissa Mules next.

Great shoes. I was thrilled when I found the Orthaheel sandals and have been waiting for shoes that I could wear to work. I don't have to get too dressed and I've worn these with a casual skirt or something nicer than sneakers with jeans. I have these in the taupe/peach and the black. I would recommend these for anyone that needs arch support. I do have orthotic inserts but they do not work with dress shoes so I often end up just trying to stay off my feet at work. My feet don't hurt in these. I can't say I've taken for a major test drive. I have not tried to stand or walk all day in them but it does not take much to get my foot pain started.

Super comfortable and very versatile. Perfect if you have problem feet. If you pronate like I do, you can size down a half size, since the arch in this shoe puts your foot back in proper alignment.

I've never been a fan of Mary Jane style shoes. This shoe is, surprisingly, cute. I'm a size 9M and the shoes fit perfectly. I can wear these, without socks, and I'm surprised at how comfortable they are. The high arch support really helps with my flat feet. I just ordered a pair in black.

For all you narrow feet people out there, I wear 8 N and was able to make this shoe fit by adding a very thin insole and now they fit perfect. Very comfy. Can't wear with out a sock with original foot bed because it is made out of something that would make my foot sweat and stick. The added insole fixes this problem.

These shoes are very comfortable and have great support. I commute to work and they are perfect to wear before I have to slip into heels for the day. I didn't have any problems with them rubbing against the heel like someone else had mentioned but I also don't wear them all day long. I also just got a compliment on them this morning.

Bought these shoes for work! Really comfy shoe with no break in period for me! I already own two pairs of Orthaheel slippers which I love. Only thing I can say is that the velcro on the straps need to be longer.

I'm running counter to the other reviewers here because I think this shoe runs large. I normally wear a 6 so I ordered a 6.5 because other reviewers felt it ran small. The 6.5 was huge, so I reordered my regular size, and even the 6 feels loose. I can put my whole thumb down the back of the shoe when I'm in it! I tried to order a 5.5 but that size is not in stock. So disappointed. The 6.5 is definitely going back. Other than that this is a really cute shoe. I got the khaki/peach and I really like the look. Arch support is beyond words comfortable.

I love these shoes! I put them on the day they arrived and wore them all day without any problems. I am disappointed that you have only black and olive in the solid colors. I brought these shoes from QVC this week and they were available in brown. These shoes are fantastic. Please get more colors.

I've heard Orthaheel shoes are highly recommended and I know why now! I love these! I have lots of spine, leg, foot problems and these are so very comfortable! And they're cute, too! Hard to find comfortable and cute. And Zappos service is great!

The more I wear these the more I love them. I might go back for another color. They do fit a little wide for me but my foot is a bit on the narrow side. Not enough to wear a narrow width though. Since October I had achilles tendon problem after resolving a plantar fasciitis problem. All the Orthaheels I tried on made the pain from the tendon go away. It is now healing at last. I do wish there were more options for closed toed shoes that were cute and more sandals with back straps. I can not wear a slide or flip flop, I need the support of the back strap.

These are cuter than I expected and work well with my dress pants. I usally wear a size 8.5 and these fit perfectly. The arch support could be a little better in this style compared to the Orthaheel slippers and sandals.

Adorable shoe and comfortable. I'm a big fan of Orthaheel and have multiple pairs. While the Arcadia didn't disappoint, I did have to tweak them. First, I found the insert supportive but there wasn't enough cushioning for the ball of the foot area. The insert also made noise as some other reviewers have mentioned. So I put in a pair of the Orthaheel Oh Shock Absorber inserts and walked around Disneyland for 2 days with no sore spots. Buying an orthotic shoe and having to switch inserts ended up being a lot of money to spend on a casual shoe, but the end result was good enough that I'll probably do it again with a pair of Black Arcadias.

Ratings are for the 'Black' which is really the Arcadia I, now fazing out. Arch is where it should be. I have to wear with socks as the inside edges around rim are rough and back heel slips/rubs a very tiny bit on my narrow heels. The arch is not as high and firm as the Tide sandal but still is much better than other closed shoes. For me, with socks, the 'Black' is extremely comfortable for around the house and errands. It does not have enough cushioning for long walks. Sadly, I have to return the 'Black/Gray' which is the current style as the arch is too far back, actually under the heel. Black/Gray was very uncomfortable; I will assume the 3 other colors in the current style also have misplaced arches. Size 6.5 is true to size for Arcadia except for placement of arch. I wear size 6 in the Tide which is 'fit perfection' for me. Love Zappos for such speedy delivery and easy, free returns!

I wanted shoes for walking on my trip to New York, but I did not want the look of tennis shoes. I wish they had a little more arch support but I was happy with my choice.

These shoes are super comfortable. I had to go down a half size and they are a little wide, but that is okay because I wanted to wear them with socks and jeans for sightseeing during my trip to NYC. Looks cute and a lot better looking than tennis shoes, but feel like comfy tennis shoes.

I've worn the black this 2012-2013 winter which was 6 months of almost every day use. There's no sign of wear. But, I also wore them without socks to work and boy did these shoes make my feet sweat and stink. In all my 65 years this is the first shoe to do that. That's the bad news. The good is that the insoles come out and I've thrown shoes and insoles in the washer with borax and baking soda with my everyday wash. Shoes came out like new and without the smell...for two days. Yes, this is an expensive MaryJane but yes, you'll probably get your money's worth especially if you have bum arches like mine and trying to avoid surgery. I just wish Dr Weil would make a more attractive (and less expensive) work shoe.
