These felt insubstantial -- not enough arch support, and the sole seemed thin for the money. Style was good, and they fit true to size, but the value wasn't there so back they went.

Loved the style and the inside feels amazing but the circumference is definitely not 14 inches, more like 16 as a previous reviewer said. A little like wearing buckets on my matchstick legs.

I have had these boots for a year. I wear a size 11 and was interested in getting a pair of comfortable boots so I ordered the size 42. Rieker has a reputation for comfort so I purchased this pair. Very attractive and, although they were smaller than I would like (really a 10-101/2), kept them because the leather was comfortable. Now, a year later, the bottom of the inside of the boot has lumps and ridges that make the boots very uncomfortable to walk on for any length of time.I took them to my shoe repair shop to get an insert but he said that that would not make any difference. For a comfort shoe, the inside should be comfortable. I would not buy any Rieker products again.

I am actually really disappointed with the style of these boots. The embellishments look like a bad afterthought - the cut leather with two little metal brads almost looks unfinished. They look so cute in the photo; I guess I was just expecting more for a pair of boots at this price. I guess I want something a bit more, well, more. I did think (in the few minutes I wore them to try them on) that they were quite comfortable.
