I have to say these shoes are so cute and really pretty in person! The glitter and style is fantastic. That being said, my 3 year old has been wearing these shoes for about 5 weeks now and they look terrible. The glitter fabric is falling apart and the white foam underneath is now starting to stick out. I don't feel like these particular shoes are up to Pediped quality. My daughter is not exceptionally hard on shoes. Her Hoy sandals and Keens from the summer still look brand new. As much as I love, love the look of these shoes, I had to pass on my experience.

The Pediped Dakota Flex is the perfect school shoe for my 4 year old daughter. She think they're very pretty and comfortable. In these shoes more than any others she can dance, walk on her toes, climb on the playground equipment, and run without tripping. The generously sized velcro strap helps her get them on quickly. They match all her clothes from bluejeans to twirly dresses. Best of all, the pink sparkle trim doesn't shed glitter. We are loyal Pediped customers from now on.

These are fantastic. My wee one's feet run a little wide, but these fit perfectly. I cannot say enough about Pediped quality. She has had these for months, and they still look great.

Very cute shoes and photo doesn't do them justice. They are very sparkly, which my 3-year-old loves. They hold up well, are waterproof and machine washable, and my daughter can put them on herself. If they had lights, my daughter would wear them every day. These seem a little wider than other Pedipeds but we're able to cinch them up with the Velcro strap (my daughter has narrow feet).

Got these for my 2.5 year old daughter to replace her worn out previous pair. She has narrow feet and Pedipeds seem to fit her well. I'm a big fan of the Pedipeds because they are easy to get on, provide support and are still flexible. Like a sneaker but easier on and off. And cute too.

This is a fantastic shoe. My daughter loves to wear them, and they're super cute. This was my first Pediped purchase, and I will certainly purchase more of them. They actually feel like they would be good for her little feet. They're easy on and easy off, which is very important for my 2 year old who doesn't like to sit still. Daddy even commented that he's glad he got her these shoes even though he had nothing to do with the purchase. He usually doesn't comment on clothing and shoes. I want to order them in every color. I wish there would be even more colors to choose from. I couldn't believe how quickly my order arrived from Zappos.

We love these shoes. After trying multiple pairs of other brands, we finally found one that has great arch support, is true to fit in size and my daughter loves the sparkles. A great quality shoe. Would definitely buy again.

These sparkly shoes go with everything! The soles are very flexible which my daughter loves. She measured at 11½ and the size 12-12½ fit perfect with the extra insole to keep her feet snug until they grow a little more. I love them!

These are amazingly girly shoes, that are also durable and perfect for daycare. My daughter (3 yrs) only wears pink and purple and refuses to wear shoes that look like "sneakers." These are the first I found that thrill her and are also okay with me. Pediped is a favorite in our household, so I know they'll hold up for a long time.

These shoes are ADORABLE! My daughter ripped the box open and put them on as soon as she got them. She said they are comfortable and pretty. This shoe goes with everything, and we love the added touch of sparkles. Will buy these again! Great shoe for an active girl! Zappos is AWESOME and customer service is always great too. Plus who doesn't like free shipping. Don't hesitate to buy these shoes, you will be very happy with this purchase.

My seven year old absolutely loves these! They are very comfortable and they feel very well made. They are girly enough to wear with tights and a casual skirt.

My three year old actually said, "These shoes rock! thanks for buying them for me, mommy" And they are great, she is comfortable, they are stylish, fun colors but they seem to go with most of her wardrobe. And although she had a high inset they do not cut into her feet - they are still sized for a little girl. These are great shoes!

My daughter has been wearing Pedipeds since she was old enough to wear shoes. I was looking for a new pair of comfy shoes in brown to wear to preschool so I purchased these. Let me start by saying that photos do not do these shoes justice. They are so beautiful in person! The fabric portion of the shoe is actually glittery, but not the kind of glittery that sheds. I've never seen fabric like this before. It sparkles like diamonds! I normally prefer very plain shoes, but these are so cute I can't help but love them. Zappos doesn't mention it, but these shoes are also machine washable. My first impression of the fit is that they run a tad wide, but they have the Flex Fit insoles, which allow you to tailor the fit as your child's foot grows. My daughter was just measured at a local shoe store & her toe was just across the 9 mark. I ordered the 26, but I think I may have to go up to the 27 for the length. The insoles are removable, which comes in handy when trying to decide if they fit or how much room your child will have to grow. Just take them out & have your child stand on them. I love this about Pediped shoes! No more guess work. I would've waited to write my review after I made a decision on size, but these shoes are so stinkin' cute I wanted to let the world know!

Do not expect these to stand up to any play. Ours started to rip within 60 days. I am writing the company since they have torn so much, there are tears in over six areas. I expected more for the money. It is sad because she really liked them.

This is a very cute shoe, but I was hoping to use it as a school shoe for my daughter in Pre-K. There's no way it would stand up to a toddler on a playground. They are too flimsy. Perhaps my expectation was incorrect. I selected the size from the sizing chart on the Pediped website (yes, I used the correct page scaling of zero), but the size I selected is way too small. I'm returning these, hoping to find a sturdier shoe.

Nice looking shoe but wears like a sneaker. Can be worn casually or dressed up. Well made , durable and can withstand any child's rough treatment.

I recently purchased these for my daughter who is 6. She has very difficult wide feet to fit. This shoe is awesome! She loves them and wears them every day (she is quite picky too which makes finding something she'll wear even more difficult). The width is perfect for her feet. The open top of the shoe allows the shoe to stretch to accommodate her wide feet and helps keep them comfortable and the strap allows for not too snug a fit. They are supportive and great for running around and jumping. They wash well too! The silver on the top of the shoe sparkles (much prettier in person than the photo shows) and give it just a perfect girly/glitzy touch that girls her age go crazy for! Thank you Pediped for making an awesome shoe. I will buy these again for sure. As one more note - Zappos is fabulous! I can not go to a store to buy shoes for my daughter as I simply can't find shoes in stores that fit her. I love Zappos' quick shipping and super easy returns. Thanks Zappos!

This shoe went back for 2 reasons, size was one. But second, Pediped has designed this shoe with a removable insole but it is terribly loose. When it arrived, it was completely folded up in the shoe. Once we tried to lay it flat, it still stayed lifted above the base of the shoe. My daughter wore the shoe around the house for a while and it bunched like crazy. I'm not sure how they expect a insole like this to work with a shoe designed for active children. Has anyone else had this problem?

Durable, comfortable, good color option though I wish there were more color options for bigger kids. My daughter is rough and wears them daily and they hold up to skateboarding, scootering, tree climbing etc

My daughter has gone through about 3 pairs of these shoes! They are incredibly easy to out on and she learned, by 3 how to put on her own shoes! These shoes wear incredibly well and she grows out of them before they even break in anyways. Amazing shoes! My daughter has gone to Yosemite - hiking over 3 miles - and everything in these! Definitely highly recommend!

My daughter is a freak about her feet. She doesn’t like anything touching them, really, and freaks when shoes are “too tight!” She loves that she can adjust the strap and leave them loose, and I love that they still have support and style.

Pedi pedi great for kids

The shoes are a little big but they fit just fine. Room to grow and enjoy longer. I love them!

We have worn these shoes (two different sizes) over the past two years. The size-up insert has allowed us to get a full year of growth out of a single pair of shoes, and they are in good enough condition that we will be passing them down. Our second pair faded considerably with washing in contrast with the first pair but still pretty. I went to order a new size and am so disappointed that Pediped doesn't seem to be making this style any more. I am searching for a supportive, sneaker-based Mary Jane shoe for my daughter and haven't found anything that's quite the same. The current style of Mary Jane shoes made by Pediped are have considerably more mesh and not great for winter. Please bring these shoes back, Pediped!
