Great shoe for my daughter who has slightly wide feet, and a high instep. My daughter measured 12.5 and size 30 fit her great. Very easy to get on and the strap is long enough that its not squishing the top of the foot, also very good on the playground.

This is our second pair of these shoes, and life at our house hit some serious bumps when the earlier pair started hurting my daughter's toes a couple of days ago. She had literally worn no other pair of shoes since we got them, and the prospect of having to do so resulted in a rather epic hissey fit. She is a pretty mellow kid, but her shoes have to be just so, and they have to be comfortable, and they have to be good for climbing rocks. If they sparkle, too, she will never take them off. The new pair came today, thank heavens. Peace has returned. Pediped, please do not stop making this shoe. I can't go through that again. Zappos, thank you for delivering them in record time, too.

Thrilled with this shoe! Durable, comfortable, pretty, and easy to put on and take off without assistance. I was challenged this season to find something quality for the playground, while pretty enough to satisfy both girls' tastes, and my big requirement after a summer of struggling with sandals, something they could put on and off without help. She has barely worn them since she prefers sandals and flip flops when it's hot outside so not sure how they hold up over time. We love these shoes. My 2 1/2 years old daughter started falling when she was running, so the pediatrician recommended to buy shoes with arc support. Pediped is the only brand with certified arc support so I decided to give it a try. The difference is amazing, she doesn't fall anymore, and I love that she loves the color. She is an 8 and 1/2 with wide feet, so I bought size 9 and we are using the additional insole. We bought two pairs of Pediped shoes, the Dakota Flex and the Minnie Flex, so she could try and choose one of them. She loves them both so much that we kept the Minnie Flex, which she uses without socks get wet in the garden.

Love these shoes. My two year old was in Nike's until the tops of the Nike's started to come unglued at the toe area. The stitching on the Dakota looks strong so I don't see that happening with this shoe. They also seem to fit her foot better than the Nike's. When I pull on the shoes it is not sliding on her heel like the Nike's.

As another reviewer stated, these are much prettier in person. I purchased two pairs of the purple. One of my daughters is 3, the other is 1-1/2. For the younger, the shoes are a little on the clunky side, but it should be noted that she went from Robeez to these shoes...so she's still got the adorable "drunken sailor on leave" walk. They both love their shoes, squealing "Shhoooes!" and the eldest gets hers on and off with no problems. I love pedipeds and Zappos! What's not to love, thanks so much, Zappos!

Pedipeds are awesome. These are maybe my favorite pair I've purchased for my children. We have them in pink/ purple and then brown. My girls love them, wear them almost everyday; that's play, school, out and about, parties whatever. They still look and smell beautiful. My 3.5 year old is incredibly fussy when it comes to footwear and like most children likes to run, jump, climb, skip...anything but sit still. So I was looking for something practical, versatile - able to wear with leggings, jeans or dresses - but ultimately comfortable. These Pedipeds more than fit the bill. They are easy to out on and off, look great and have been worn happily for well over a month now. My daughter has very slim feet so every pair of shoes we own have appeared roomy in width but the 8.5 fit her well. I have put in the additional insole which allows you to make the shoes a couple of mms smaller and will whip it out as her feet grow. I love that can throw these shoes in the washing machine. I have no doubts that they are extremely hard wearing. Pedipeds are worth the money.
