Great boot. Looks rugged, as the name suggests. It took some serious break in time but has been well worth it. The toe scuffs every once in a while, but it only adds character.

These boots run a bit big. I typically wear a size 10 in sneakers, like New Balances and a 9 of these boots fits me perfectly. After a short break in period, they are so comfortable.

I've been wearing these boots for 3 weeks and I really like them. They look great, and are comfortable even though they are a bit heavy. The leather does scuff easily so I will likely need to treat it with something to keep them looking nice. I would definitely buy them again.

My husband ordered these boots in two sizes and kept the larger size. He sent back the smaller size and within a few days Timberland sent them back to him saying they wouldn't take them back because the leather was too scuffed. Since he kept the larger size it was clear the returned size was too small and it's not like he was trying to scam them. They were never worn and any scuffs on the leather were from the packaging. After contacting their customer service he had to send them several pictures and now he had to send them to their warranty group, which apparently is a 4 week process, where they will decide if they will take the boots back. As a big shopper myself and having dealt with so so many brands, both high and low end, I cannot believe the absurdity of this and how poor this customer service is. The boots were clearly not worn, there is absolutely no scuffing or wearing on the soles and just some small scratches on the leather based on the packaging. I have never had anything questioned before and honestly mostbrands would take something back even if it had been worn and there was an issue with it. It's a shame because my husband loves Timberland boots and has been wearing them for years but we will never shop here again and will let friends know about the poor experience.

These are excellent quality boots. The leather looks great and it is thick and sturdy. I thought they fit true to size and felt pretty good right out of the box. In keeping with the high quality leather upper, the boots require some break-in before they are comfortable enough for a full days wear.

Awesome boots. Timberland did a fantastic job. Boots have a great worn look to go with jeans. Go buy some and save the earth.

Have to agree with the trending reviews here: this is an excellent pair of boots. I can already tell they'll last for years. Style wise, they keep it simple and classic. Comfort wise, I was surprised. Tons of support all over, snug lace-up and a super grippy outsole. I always say size down when buying leather footwear because of the "will-fit-you-like-a-glove-if-you-give-it-time" break-in factor; but with Tims you definitely need to size down, as I find they do typically run about a whole size large. Anyway, if you're on the fence, yes - they're pricey but you will get what you pay for: years of stylish durability.

Stylish and high quality boot. Extremely comfortable. A bit heavy, as this is a true waterproof, outdoor-ready boot. Highly recommend.

I've owned these boots for three or four years now so take what I say with a grain of salt knowing things may haves changed to newer models. In my opinion these are the best looking boots you can buy and they age really nicely as you continue to wear them. Sure, they scuff and crease and fade but it adds to the look and doesn't impact the integrity of the boot. I would say the comfort is ok; certainly not like a plush sneaker but it's never been an issue unless I go for a long walk on pavement. I will say that this is not a hiking boot or rain or snow or work boot. It's a casual boot. It's very simple with few technical features which is perfect for what I use it for (going to a restaurant or on walk with the dog, casual trips). The durability has been amazing and these boots don't look like they're ready to give out anytime soon even after 300+ days in them. Overall amazing boot

This is a very nice and comfortable boot. This is exactly what I expected from Timberland and that's why I am ordering the next boots (my son and me).

I've had my pair of of Earthkeepers for a few years now and I love them. I've worn them so much that the treads are almost worn out and it's about time to replace them. My feet do not get tired or sore feeling after wearing for long periods of time. My feet also don't get that hot and sweaty feeling. They're great to wear out into the field to muck around in the dirt or go out in with jeans or khakis on. I had to.put anlittle shoe goo on the front of one of the soles last year and it's still holding strong. The leather now has that nice worn look and the laces are still great, no fraying.

Great boots.. fit is excellent and they look great. I have wide feet and needed wide width to fit properly.
Be warned they do show scratches very easily.

Very happy with the boot, and the sizing most of all since I've never worn Timberland shoes before. I normally wear a size 10 shoe and am used to getting Converse in size 9.5 but can squeeze into 9s as well pretty comfortably to give an idea of what other shoes I wear.
Timberland's own recommendation is to go down one from sneaker sizing so I got bought these boots in size 9, and went for the wide since some reviews mentioned they were narrow. They fit perfectly with my toes at the top of the boot and my feet aren't squished against the sides like they are in smaller converse. Definitely going to be my go to boot for a while, would definitely recommend.

Great Timberland quality with some style! They run a size smaller then my sneaker size, which is a 10.5. But they are worth every penny!

This is THE boot! It is so versatile, I hike in it, wear it with jeans, khaki's at work, etc. There is no where that I normally and regularly go or attend that I don't feel comfortable with it.

This is the third pair of these boots that I've bought. I put them through real wear and tear and it still takes me about three years to go through a pair. Will keep coming back again and again.

The front lip of the sole fails first, particularly if using these boots to walk in snow.
Besides that, I would highly recommend and will continue to purchase.

I get these for my husband for work. He always ends up wearing them out but timberland is the only brand that lasts for a long time. He works in construction so on his feet building all day. They protect his feet and work great for them. Usually I get him a new pair every year.

Dressy and sporty ar the same time. These can be worn in a dress up situation like they could be worn in any casual situation like to the office. Or outo to dinner on a friday night. The seem to be high quailty.

I've had my pair for four years. They've stood up to daily wear. The only part that is damaged after all that time is the top rim which is due to putting on/taking off without messing with the laces. I care for them with saddle soap and golden mink oil, and they're absolutely gorgeous. Seriously appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of these boots. I get so many compliments on them.
