I wish I could order half sizes. I ordered my true size and my toes jammed up against the front. THere is a lovely, warm liner, but it is like the boot is true to size and the liner makes them too small. Either everything should be made a half size up or they should offer half sizes. And don't think about wearing thick socks. Also, the shaft is so wide, that it moves up and down and all around rubbing my calves and shins in ways I didn't expect. I love the look and wish that they had worked out.

I ordered these Baffin boots for my daughter for Christmas. They came in two days as promised, and this was the week before Christmas. She loved the boots and I loved the service. Well done Zappos! And thanks.

After having these for a month in Minnesota during winter I can safely say these are really good winter boots. The brand website suggests to size up and I'm glad I did. I usually wear a 6 in shoes/boots and bought a 7 and they are warm and comfortable. They feel like moon boots! I have been fishing, fixing fence, horse riding, and pheasant hunting in the snow and ice with these and haven't had cold toes yet. Highly recommend!

These boots are warm. I have worn them full days being outdoors and going in and out of the car. My feet did not get cold or sweat. I normally wear size 9 but ordered these a size 10. I wear a pair of wool socks with the boots because they are a little big. Even with the socks they seem a bit loose in the heel but I think a size 9 would be too small. It is not that big of a deal. The comfort (cushiness) level is medium to low. I am considering getting an insole for them to make them more comfortable that way. Overall, they fit the need I had...I wanted boots that would keep my feet warm and they do. Also, I was glad I read other reviews that suggested to first put the liner on and then the boot. That seemed to work the best for me. The boots are very sturdy and nice-looking.

After trying on 7 different of snow boots I found these! They are just what I was looking for. They are going to keep my feet very toasty in the cold Michigan winter. I would recommend that you order a full size lager then your regular shoe size. They are not the most stylish of boot but they certainly fit the bill when it comes to warmth. If you get cold feet like I do, do not hesitate to purchase these boots.

Love these! It's great that you can tighten them or leave them loose for easy slip on. The inner lining is secured to the outer, so even if you opt to leave the laces loose you won't get anything in your boots or get cold feet. They are just tall enough that they will be great trekking through the snow, yet cute enough to wear out; so long as you live in a snow town ha ha. They are the best of 3 worlds- with a thick rubber snow boot sole meets moon boot meets leather and fur. I ordered a size up (10 instead of 9) and they fit great. I have wide calves and was able to tighten the laces near the toes to create give near the top. They do push in a bit in the rear where the leather meets the moon boot but the moon boot has so much cush I don't think it will be an issue.

Absolutely LOVE these boots! I moved up from Texas to Michigan last year, just in time for the worst winter in recent memory - hooray! Never would've survived it without these bad boys. Even with wind chills below -10 degrees and long waits at the bus stop, my feet stayed toasty. The soles have good traction as well, and I felt secure walking on ice. Do order one size larger than you typically wear, though - I had to exchange for an 8 an I am typically on the small side of 7. Couldn't recommend these more highly!

These are very comfortable with extra padding. They definitely keep you warm in the arctic Michigan winters. I will definitely purchase this brand again. No questions asked.

I love these boots! I wear a 6.5 normally and got an 8 so that I would have room for warm socks. I wore them to a football game and was sitting in -4 to -20 temps and I didn't even add footwarmers until half time when my toes started to get chilly (not cold, just chilly). They are a little 'clompy' but if you are looking for warmth these are great boots.

So very annoyed and disappointed with the sizing of these boots! Mail ordered them on USA trip, then imported them home ourselves. First time ever buying footwear that is a full 1.5 (one and a half!) sizes off the labeled size. Didn't fit at all. Due to the huge variance on size with these boots, they were also too small for my "backup person". Seemed like nice boots otherwise. Appear they would be quite warm.

The online item description didn't say the boots have leather, but the tag on the boots said they had leather. I didn't want any leather, so I returned the boots. I ordered a size 10, they fit good, while I was wearing socks, and considering that they had the thick removable liner in them. The boots would be good for someone living in a cold winter climate, like the Chicago, IL, area where I used to live.

I am a solid 6.5 and got a 7. According to all the reviews that said to order at least a full size up, I was a little concerned that they'd be too big. Not at all! In fact, they feel a little loose. If i wear bigger socks they will be perfect. Hoping they are as warm as many of the reviews say they are. I had Canada Pajars that were amazing in that category. We'll find out in February...

This shoe looks great but did not fit my narrow heel or wide foot. Perfect for someone with a all over narrow foot and wide heel.

These are super comfortable and warm boots! They are great all around snow boots. I hike and probably won't wear these for these hiking because they don't have the foot support for that. I am a little disappointed that the laces and eyelets (?) On my boots are white instead of black as shown in the picture. I could have gotten them cheaper all white on another site but I liked the black contrast. Not a true depiction.

I tried three brands of snow boots and the Baffin Iceland was the warmest one I tried (to be fair, I tested them inside where it was 70°F!). However, it was also the bulkiest (tradeoffs!). For my purposes, I needed something with less bulk and I had to settle for a little less warmth. The liner is nice, but definitely pull it out to put your foot into the liner the first time you try the boots on. The toggle adjustment is nice. Overall, if bulk were not a concern, the Baffins are a great value and I think quite toasty! I did not get a chance to test waterproofing or anything as I only wore them inside to test out, but the thick sole and rubber construction on the bottom of the boot look like they would do well.

They arrived this morning....got tested immediately. I am in Boston...need I say more. Incredibly warm and the traction is wonderful...just what I need. I ordered my regular shoe size and wore them with a pair of SmartWool socks over a pair of tights. No problem at all with the sizing. The shaft is high enough to protect against splatters/slush.

These boots are warm and comfy. They are lighter and less chunky than I was expecting, which is great. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5. I ordered the 7 and it fits perfectly. My only complaint is that the back of the ankle is too stiff/inflexible, while the rest of the ankle is loose and offers little support. The boots are great for walking around in the cold and snow, but the lack of good ankle support makes me hesitant to hike in them.

When I put these on my feet they felt like a warm cloud. I ordered another pair of Sorel boots at the same time that I liked the style of better but ended up keeping these because they were so warm and comfortable to walk in. After wearing them a handful of times I must have broken them in because they feel a little big. I wish I would have ordered a 7 to compare to the 8 I kept. Overall I'm really happy with them. My feet are warm and dry.

Before buying these boots I read all of the reviews and decided to order my regular size 8. They fit perfectly with thicker socks and leggings. I have had a chance to wear them several times and they were comfortable and kept my feet warm.

Zappos at this point is a proven winner- accuracy in advertising and super to their word shipping...most UPS saying Next Day then do delivery to outside city is an additional day. The boots seem cushy-cozy, comfy and good on a record Hi low Northern Wisconsin winter day. I plan to use them for snowmobiling but just got the boots yesterday and with the early winter I don't even have my sled out yet. Warmth doesn't give the top style but these are good, lightweight and not clunky...better than others I tried on in top sports stores...also taller and should be good in high snow. I used a thinner sock that slipped easier into the plush inner but will see as worn in a bit and how warm they are for extended time out. I will have to get used to snugging up the laces as I need narrower in front...so stretchy a trick to get tight...but necessary to have stretchy so can easily get foot in. I do need to get it tighter in middle so heel stays back in place instead of pushing too far forward into the toes. I normally wear a 10 tennis shoe,etc but so glad I got the 11...any bigger may have been too large, especially in heel.

I was very pleased when I received these boots. They are extremely warm and true to size. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7. So I ordered the size 7 and they're perfect. Great for walks or playing in the snow. One of the features that caught my eye when purchasing the boots is not only do they claim to be warm, but they are very sharp looking. I really like the black and white. I do have to say, however, although I am very pleased with the boots; I was a little disappointed when they arrived with white laces instead of black. They still are sharp looking, but keep that in mind if you're thinking of purchasing these.

I wear a Euro 38 so ordered the size 7.5 (38.5). Too tight in the toe and a bit loose in the heel for me. Quality looks great and these boots are going to be toasty warm. I will be trying out some more boots by Baffin. I like the inner liner. Also very easy to pull on despite my high instep.

These are awesome boots but I really wanted to love these. They are very nice looking boots. As they are just full sizes I sized up to an 8 (I am normally a 7½), that was too big. My heels lifted as I walked. I had on medium thick Merino socks. They felt nice and snug so I am not sure if I could go down a size, but maybe they needed to be laced tighter and that would prevent the heel lift?. Although if that is the case, I could not lace them any tighter! It is a great system, the elastic lock lace, but as with any boots, you have to work to tighten and I just don't think I could pull any harder. They were rather clumpy to walk in also. I live in Chicago so we get the cold and the snow, and I was after boots to keep me warm (I always have cold feet) when I am outside with the kids or shoveling snow. So I was not looking for fashionable, just nice looking boots to keep warm. I think these did fit the bill, they just did not fit my feet well! Hence the good rating even though I did not keep them.
