I'd been wearing orthotics for years and happened upon a stack of Alegrias in the back of a tourist shop in Florida. I now have 3 pairs that fit to a T and are so comfortable. I actually did have a shoemaker shorten the back strap length on the 2 pairs I ordered on line but the job was completed in minutes while I waited and for next to nothing. Alegrias are the shoes I wear all the time apart from winter boots and hiking boots with a non-prescription orthotic. Thank you! They are great. It's nice to see the variety of styles you continue to offer.

I recently developed arthritic bunions, and couldn't wear any of my shoes.I now need a rocker front, wide toe box, and very little flexibility. Alegria are comfortable, Alegria meets all those requirements, however, I wear a half size in their closed shoes, and they only have whole sizes, or else I would buy more. This sandal works, because it's not enclosed. Others, that have worked for me are, camp four in five ten, and paradigm in Altra Zero. Thanks Zappos!

I go to Mexico every year and these shoes are the very best to walk in. Comfort is number one at my age! Thank you Zappos; keep up the good work!

Even if I tried I would not be able to say anything negative about these sandals! They are like putting your favorite pair of bedroom slippers on they're that comfortable. I have serious foot problems but not with these.

These shoes are super comfortable. And they give good support. I will definitely purchase another Alegria product. I wear them with skirts, slacks, shorts.

I love Alegria shoes. I have several pairs that I wear for work. With my back and knee problems, I have a hard time finding sandals. These are perfect. They are very comfortable, and I can wear them all day. The sandals are beautiful, with there beaded strap. You will not go wrong with this purchase, and these sandals will last you many years!

I love these shoes. I bought the Disco Desert and they are shiny and iridescent. Much prettier in person. My foot is narrow but with the Velcro adjustments they fit great. The shoes are so comfortable and I wore them all day right our of the box. Mine didn't have any odor. I will definitely by this brand again.

These are the comfiest sandals I've owned in a long time! The leather is soft, the velcro straps adjust nicely and the sole feels nice on my feet. I am in a humid area in Mexico and the sandals have kept my feet comfortable and cool; no sweaty feet for me! The only thing that I can think of as being a negative, and this is no big deal for me but others might not like it, is that the upper sole of the sandal began squeaking. So these are not the quietest sandal. But other than that, these are great for my feet, especially with my plantar fasciitis issue that I've got going right now.

I was shopping with friends and my back began to hurt. My daughter wears Alegria brand shoes to work. (In emergency room, 12 hours a day.) She told me that if I would wear these shoes my back would quit hurting. With only one of these shoes on on foot while I walked looking at other shoes, my back quit hurting. I will be replacing all my shoes with Alegrias.

I've been wearing these almost nonstop since I bought them a few weeks ago. I have to wear shoes with good orthotics because of plantar fasciitis and that means expensive shoes. These are reasonably priced and have as much support as some other high-priced brands. I especially like how all three straps adjust so they exactly fit my feet. They look good with pants and skirts and I can walk all day in them. I usually wear an eight; an eight and a half in a running shoe. I ordered these in a 38 and they fit perfectly.

Multiple foot problems keep me confined to a limited shoe wardrobe, but these sandals were immediately comfortable. They provide enough support for me to forgo orthotics. The pewter decoration across the instep strap is fun. I'm getting a pedicure to show these off!

Got these for a cruise. The minute I put on, they were comfortable - no rubbing and bed of shoe formed to my feet. did have to send the first pair back due to a loose stitch area but of course Zappos accommodated immediately and without question. Have had nice comments about their look. Love that they have 3 adjustable straps for when feet swell a bit. Color is a nice chocolate brown and brass accents are cute.

Absolutely like heaven - adjusts to your foot given the movable straps so i can change from wearing socks to not great arch support have gotten several compliments when i have worn them and several told me they were going to order them. Great with maxi skirts, slacks - can be casual and can be worn a bit dressed up. I would recommend anyone thinking about them, to give them a try. I will definitely purchase more styles in this brand

Amazing sandal! I love this sandal. It is so comfortable and very stylish. I ordered the darker Brown (with jewels) and now I am going to order the Black (with jewels) as well. I highly recommend this shoe.

I wasn't sure what size to get so I ordered a 40 and a 41. The shoe fit great except I had to return the shoes right after I tried them on because the left shoe's toe strap on each shoe had very sharp scratchy stitching that came up about a centimeter from the sole, causing too much irritation.

This is my second pair of Alegria sandals and I love this brand. These sandals have multiple velcro straps which enable you to adjust the sandal to fit however you want. They are very comfortable right out of the box for long periods of walking.

I have feet that are very damaged by years of work on cement floors. Yet I am a fashionable girl! These shoes have made my summer beautiful. They fit to size and are easy on-off. Cool, so comfortable and actually good for feet and posture. Zappos allowed me to try out several styles until I got it right. I hope (I think) these shoes might last forever.

It's a good sandal. The removable insole allows me to insert a small orthotic. I also find it versatile for casual, as well as more dressy, occasions. It's totally comfortable on all areas of my foot and I am very happy with my two pairs.

I have a bad back, wide feet and high arches and these sandals fit really good and have great arch support. I have 1 other pair of Alegria and they fit great also. I want to get more of this brand...more this brand shoe.

These sandals were wonderful right out of the box. I have wide, problem feet, and these are very comfortable sandals. Another plus - I usually purchase an orthotic footbed for even my very excellent Naot sandals. I won't need an orthotic with these great sandals, although the removable footbed would allow one. And, thank you amazing Zappos - I ordered over the holiday weekend, but there the sandals were, behind my door, on the Tuesday after the holiday.

I love my sandals! They fit perfectly & they are so comfortable! I just wore them all over Italy & my feet felt great even though I recently had surgery for plantar fasciitis. And as always, Zappos got them to me in one day - just in time for my trip!

I love this shoe. This is my second pair of Alegria. I have only worn this brand after suffering from planter faciaitis for over a year. My feet are so much better now and I attribute that to wearing these supportive shoes.

These were my first pair of Alegria, and all I can say is Wow. I love these sandals! It feels like a full-support cushion on your foot! I have worn these to walking events, shopping, working, and walking around the neighborhood, and my feet do not hurt at all! I have a high arch & wide foot, so finding shoes that I can walk or stand for long periods of time in has been difficult at best. I admit the velcro straps gave me pause at first. However, I have been wearing these for nearly two weeks, and the velcro does not scratch and holds solidly. The design is so darned cute! I normally only wear neutral or black, so this was a huge change for me! I will be looking more closely at this brand in the future for my next pair of favorite sandals, that is for certain!

Alegria shoes are the best! And Zappos is the best! I can't believe how quickly I get an order and how easy it is if you need to return anything. I would sure recommend both Alegria shoes and Zappos.
