Velcro adjustments did not work for my narrow foot. Vienna was better for me. otherwise this is another great Alegria footbed and the pattern of birds is subtle but fun. The blue is a very vibrant royal blue (unlike the pic)

These shoes are very comfortable- probably the most comfortable sandals available for me, but they are too wide. I am unable to adjust the velcro tight enough for a secure fit on my foot.

I have a narrow and low volume foot, and these were just not the ticket -- very pretty, but very loose in the correct length. The leather was also a bit stiff and hard and seemed as if it would rub.

I wanted to like these. The colors are intense but pleasant. But the shoe feels heavy and the footbed extends outward to create a sort of design, but on a large size shoe like mine, it makes my foot look like I'm walking on a plate. I sent them back.

Best sole, really comfortable BUT my foot slides forward. Tried a 38 (too big), 37, and now a 36 which may be too small.

Okay. I love these shoes. I think they are beautiful and my feet love them too. I tried on the first pair and wore them around the house for 10 minutes. They broke. I thought, maybe a random defect. Zappos accepted the return and I ordered a replacement. Wore those all day at a festival and shopping. Feet loved them. Well, today they broke in the same exact place after three days of wear. I will try one more time but I hope Alegria corrects the manufacturing issue...not enough reinforcement where the heel strap attaches to the mid foot strap. Ugh. What a pain.

These sandals just don't work for me unlike Alegria shoes which have been wonderful. I kept hoping I just needed to break them in but the band across the toe area tortures my foot. Had them too long to return - disappointing.

These shoes are just great. But I am returning the pair I just received because the faux metal adornments on the strap are falling off. Too bad. I don't think those little pieces can bend over the foot and easily pop off. I do love the shoes and the brand Alegria for their comfort and appealing styles; they need to rethink their decorations.

I ordered my usual size, which is 10 1/2, and I felt that this shoe was just a little too short in the length. The stitching around the edges rubbed my feet and toes, and was extremely irritating. And, my toes reached the very top of the sandal. I would have tried the next size, but they weren't in stock. I gave an overall score of 3 stars because of the abrasive feeling of the stitching on the edges of the footbed.

This shoe rubs the side of my foot. It also makes a sound each time you step. Otherwise appears comfortable and stylist but will return.

I loved the (idea) of these sandals and wanted to love them. For some reason, I could never feel "heavenly" like other people said. Then I slid my feet, in a hurry, over the ankle strap under my feet. They have suddenly found their exact "place" and without the ankle strap, they are heaven.

I found the leather in this shoe to be quite stiff and the strap that goes across the ankle to be very irritating. Otherwise the shoe is moderately comfortable but I wouldn't wear it for too length a period.

The 5.0 to 5.5 sizing made them to large for me. Had to send them back.

The upper part of this shoe is attractive, but the bottom inspires the thought "Platypus"! It's just plain ugly!

The arch strap hit my foot in the wrong place and made it uncomfortable to walk so I returned them.

These were extremely matronly looking and looked like orthopedic shoes. They also felt a full size smaller than they should be. My toes were sticking out of the front. Not good for someone young who wants something stylish.

Alegria Verona is extremely comfortable right out of the box and well constructed. Bullseye pattern is the problem (1 star). I understand that the shoe colors have variation, but they're not even close! This is beyond mismatch. Very disappointing.

It looks good, but I found it to be stiff and inflexible. That includes the straps, the sole and the foot bed.

I have purchased this shoe 3 times and the strap around the ankle broke on all three pair. I have them in black as well and have had no problems at all. Cute and comfortable but not sturdy in the Bullseye. I also have other Alegria sandals and no issues.

I ordered these because I loved the multi-colored option - colorful, but not too much "bling." Recieved in a timely manner and loved the colors even more in person. Immediatley tried on, and fit perfectly and comfortable. Wore for several hours, and realized one shoe felt loose. To my surprise, the back strap had tore away from the main strap! It did not appear to be stitched securely and did not even survive several hours of wear. I checked the other shoe, and found that back strap was hanging by a thread, also, and was about to tear free! If this had happened to just one shoe, it is somewhat understandable, but BOTH having the same problem after only several hours of wear? This makes me concerned for a pair of sandals that cost $100. Because I love the style so much, I'm trying an exchange just in case this pair was made on a Friday afternoon, but if the next pair has the same problem, they're going back for a refund. Considering none of the other reviewers posted any problems, I'm hopeful my exchange will be a success.

I really wanted to love these sandals - they were super comfortable from the get go - but after about three days the left sandal started squeaking. I cannot bear to wear them any more and am extremely disappointed. The style is not super exciting - a bit Birkenstockish - but I could have lived with that if it was not for the squeak.

Sadly I returned these. They fit true to size BUT within 1 minute of wearing these in my home they began to loudly squeak. I can't wear shoes that do this. I think it must be a defect as many other reviews on them are wonderful (why I ordered. I did not try a second pair as I don't want to return them again.

This shoe's straps did not have enough length to allow for any swelling of feet. There is no allow for overlap.

This is the second pair I was sent. The first was defective, and now the second. On both pairs, the stitching for the heel strap effectively disintegrated, on the first pair, during the first wear on both shoes, and the second pair, so far, the left shoe. Though they're a beautiful shoe and fit wonderfully, the quality in stitching/durability is definitely lacking. Sad to have to return these (again).

These shoes feel like they are sewn together with fishing wire, and the footbed is flat and feels cheap. I guess Alegria's quality is going down the tube just like Dansko's did.
