I bought these shoes for a trip to Italy. I heard that they were comfortable and good to walk in. Well I took a 14 day tour of Italy and these shoes were amazing. Did 3 miles in Pompeii and they felt great, Sassi tour, and Trulli tour, no problem. Mile after mile these shoes were the best walking shoes I have ever had. I would tell anyone who needs a comfortable, reliable shoe to last them miles and miles these are the comfort shoes for you.

I have problem feet (a bunion, history of plantar fascitis, and I wear a custom orthotic) yet these felt perfect, with three straps allowing a custom fit and excellent arch support, but cushy, too. They were comfortable right out of the box. I typically walk two miles a day in them, around town. Everyone compliments them; that little extra bling has been just enough to feel a bit dressy (I wear them with jeans/trousers; if you are taller you could wear with skirt/dress) even while wearing comfort shoes. I got a lovely silvery Kipling bag to go with. With black or denim, the pairing looks nice. I only wish Alegria made oxfords/shoes other than clogs. I just ordered the black and bronze colors. If they feel as great as the silver, then I will wear them non-stop until it is too cold to do otherwise. I love these!

These pretty shoes fit my narrow, bony feet and it is the first time in years that I'm wearing a shoe that doesn't look orthotic. I love that I can adjust them in three places. They also give that all important arch support.

I bought the animal print and I love it, especially with the pretty jewel accent. They are very Glammy. I took them immediately on vacation and I could not believe how comfortable they are! No break in period I got lots of compliments. I will be buying more Alegria shoes in the future. I have a C-D width and these worked perfectly. Zappos amazed me again with getting them to me the day after I ordered. Awesome service!

I had foot surgery in May and was told by the girls in the surgery center that Alegria shoes were comfortable. In fact most of them wear them (Mary Jane style). After being off my foot for 8 weeks, I tried the sandal which works great because of the comfort and the adjustable straps.

I love these sandals! Very comfortable and nice looking. I wear a true size 11M. Although these are advertised as an 11, the size range is 11.5 to 12. So, in my opinion they run a bit short.

Great arch support and all around comfort. First day wearing them was amazingly comfortable all day. I am in retail so on my feet all the time. Classy look too. Love love love these shoes.

This shoe squeaks when you walk. I called Zappos and they suggested I return this pair of shoes, and they told me they were sold out. Due to the fact the shoe squeaks, I am rating this shoe at only 1 star. Maybe this style will be available by winter. Zappos has great service.

Nice cushioned sueded insole, adjustable straps all around; however, if the straps are loosened a light beige velcro will show (tacky). I'm surprised that so many other reviews indicated they are true to size. I have two pair of this brand, and both run large on me. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8. I bought the 37 (7-7 1/2) in these. The fit is perfect, and they are so cute. Even my dentist (male) commented on how cute and what a nice color my sandals were. Mine are the ocean opal snake (a lovely medium turquoise). These look nice with any pants, adorable with a casual broomstick skirt & cropped top or equally nice with dressier evening out attire. Comfort right out of the box.

I so wanted to keep these! I like the way they look and the top of the sandal is so pretty. However, the one issue that caused me to reluctantly send them back was the bottoms. Upon my first step my foot slid on the hardwood floor and it really scared me. Otherwise they feel absolutely wonderful!!! I hope Alegria will correct this issue and I'd be curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I have tried TONS of sandals but because of a bunion and Taylor Bunion NOTHING is comfortable UNTIL I found these sandals. OH MY WORD, I will forever order these every summer!!!!

I finally found a pair of sandals I can wear with good arch support and doesn't hurt my bunion. I returned 3 others that didn't feel good, but this style fits my foot nicely. They look stylish as well so I can wear them with skirt or dress. The only thing is I usually wear a size 8 1/2 - 9 in a sandal, but needed 10 (40) in the Alegria so my foot fit in the footbed properly. No break-in period needed. 3 Velcro straps make it almost a customized fit, and can adjust when feet swell. Definitely a good choice if you have bunions or plantar fasciitis. Leather is softer than some on other Alegria shoes.

I was having pain in my left big toe joint and was afraid a bunion might be developing. I walk a lot and am getting elderly and didn't want anything to hinder my ability to continue. I tried Birkenstocks but there is a ledge inside that hit right where the pain in my toe was. I have a wide foot. This sandal is great, the insole forms to your foot, the adjustable strap right in the big toe area is perfect, I just open it up and any little discomfort that I might have had is gone. I am also going to buy the Alegria slide for walking when the weather is bad.

Amazing sandal. I put it on and wore it all day with no problems. I ordered these shoes on the recommendation of a great website, BarkingDogs.com, which reviews shoes for "troubled feet." Just as the website said, this sandal disguised my bunion and gave good cushioning and support at the same time -- and they're cute!

I love this shoe. you can tighten/loosen at 3 different points on your foot which is great for anyone with feet issues! Zappos shipping policy is the best.

Love everything about these sandal! I love the fact that you can adjust all areas of the shoe to meet the ultimate comfort in your feet! They also are very pretty on the feet and I receive many compliments! People love the style of this sandal and the comfort is outstanding!

After reading other reviews, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try these. They do have an odd smell, but it is not that bad. I totally disagree with the review that the rhinestone is too big. These sandals in red leopard are super comfortable and super cute! With Zappos' great service, give them a try.

Awesome sandal and comfy enough to walk long distances in, nice looking enough to wear with a dress. Very adjustable with 3 velcro straps. suede footbed is great on bare feet, too. I love this sandal even more than Romu's I've had in the past.

These are gorgeous sandals. The blue is truly pretty. But the sizing on these is in-between. Based on reviews, I bought a 38 which is a 7-7.5 in Alegria. I could fit my feet into them, but my toes and heels pressed on the hard edges. I ordered a 39 (8 - 8.5) and they are a perfect fit. Couldn't get the blue, but comfort is more important than color to me. I would recommend ordering your shoe size and not the Euro size that you order in other shoes such as Dansko. These run about a half-size smaller than Dansko, Sanita, etc. BUT these are exceptionally comfortable sandals with excellent arch support - they support your feet without giving you that feeling that you are standoing on a lump. The toe is wide enough (a smidge wider would be better for me) but the three Velcro straps let you adjust the fit so many ways that you can make these fit your foot. I am going to wear these for a few weeks and if they feel as good then as they do now, I will order a couple more pairs just in case Alegria decides to "improve" them. We know how that goes!

Nice shoe. Felt 1/2 size too small. The seams at the heel irritated but perhaps would soften with use. Has a cute little key chain, too.

These shoes look dowdy - I thought I could get away with them being "funky" but it was just too much. The foot bed is very comfortable but the patent leather straps are way too wide for my taste and I would image the rough edges would rub after a lot of walking. The Alegria website has these in black and brown regular leather with no jewel accent. I'm ordering those to see if it looks any better on my feet. These are going back.

These are not the most stylish sandals but they do have moderate support and are comfortable. I would prefer not to have engraving, and softer leather. OK on sale, but I wouldn’t reorder them.
