I was so excited when I ran across this brand, because I thought I'd finally found a decent brand of shoe that would fit my larger foot size and not break the bank. The largest size, size 42, is supposed to fit a woman's size 11.5-12 (US) foot. Not so. I could barely get my toes into this shoe, and they were much shorter than any of the 11.5/12 size shoes I own. I'd say they run 2 sizes too small and are also narrow. Zappos' return policy is great, though, and I was refunded promptly.

My regular size 40 rubbed off the back of my heel. Ouch. There was more than a finger's width in the back. I ordered this in size 39 also and that is a bit snug. How about making at 39.5 Dansko?!

I love Danskos. The one's made in Europe. The 2 pair of Dansko Volleys were made in China and on both pair the right one is bigger in the instep, I had to make adjustments. I'm not crazy about Chinese made products.

Way too narrow! Sadly I'll be returning these darling shoes...they are much more narrow than my other Dansko's.

I purchased these Dansko Volley's a year ago because I love my leather/more expensive ones, which I have had for over five years. Unfortunately, they are not as comfortable nor held up as well. This style is fabric and actually faded in color (they were black, but now grey). In full disclosure, we keep our shoes on our covered porch, so they were outside somewhat, but they still did not hold up at all compared to my other pair, and look completely worn. They are also more difficult to put on and feel less supportive, probably because I am so use to the leather pair. Overall, they are okay, but I will stick with leather Dansko in the future.

I had such high hopes for these shoes.. but I'm sorry, they're absolutely awful. I've NEVER been in such horrible pain from shoes in my life! I wore them for over a month, and it only got worse. I work 8-12 hours a day in a kitchen and am constantly on my feet. So now I have just been stuck with an expensive pair of paper weights.. I'll probably even toss them soon. They caused me constant pain, and it took about two weeks for it to go away after I stopped wearing them!

I have been a faithful DANSKO customer for years. I generally stick with the Phoebe and love it. I wanted to try something new and have something a little more casual, these seemed like the perfect solution. I found them hard to get on, and they exacerbated a toenail problem significantly. I didn't find them to be nearly of the same quality as the Phoebe and I was sorely (literally and figuratively) disappointed. I do not recommend these at all. They will not keep me from DANSKO brand, just cheep canvas ones!

This version of Danskos fit way smaller than the non-vegan variety. I have about 6 pairs of the non-vegan type all in size 40 and they have a consistent, comfortable fit. I could not even fit 1/2 of my foot into the opening of the shoe. Way too small.

I thought these might be a cute little shoe, but I was wrong. They are huge. I have a small foot and can often wear clunky shoes that wouldn't look good on a bigger person, but these are huge, there is no other word. A super thick sole and very high from top to bottom.

Wow, I just loved the looks of this shoe, in fact I returned it once and reordered in hopes that I could wear with an insole, but no luck. I even tried a smaller size trying to get a snugger fit, but it was just short, not any smaller in width. The heel area is huge and the part that covers your foot just gaps. A real disappointment as it is darling even though a little clunky. I had to return this pair also.
