Bought these for my non-flip flop-wearing husband for our honeymoon. He's a 10.5, but after reading the reviews, I purchased a 12 - they fit perfectly. They are really sturdy and a very classic-looking flip flop. We would both purchase these again.

After losing my favorite pair of Havaianas at the water park I decided to go with something a little more substantial. I've know people that loved their Scott flip flops and based on reviews I decided to buy them. They were received in short order. That first day of wearing them was brutal. The sole was quite stiff and the fabric strap really was not friendly to the top of my foot. After two days the sole began to give to my foot and the strap became much less constricting. It's now been a month and I love them. Great solid construction, good arch support and the simple design has sold me on Scott. I would buy another pair.

I've owned several of these before and I love the comfort and fit. They fit my foot better than the women's style. I usually wear a 9 in women's shoes and I wear an 8 in this men's sandal.

Heavy, but well constructed and comfortable for walking. No toe spring, so toes aren't unnaturally bent upwards. I ordered a number of flips this season, and the Scott Hawaii Makaha is the only pair I kept. Great for travel because with the fabric straps they stack together into a small space in a travel pack.

Hard to find anywhere but in Hawaii so really nice to find them on zappos.com. Love the comfort and the arch support they provide. And you can't beat the price and free shipping.

I love Scott, and this particular style is my favorite. The quality is hit and miss. I had a pair where the footbed started separating from the sole, but a little super glue solved that. Overall, I love these flip-flops.

Purchased for my nephew, who lives in Las Vegas, as a birthday gift. Zappos ship it direct to him, along with a note and it got there in a couple days. He was so excited - see this Aunty bought him his first pair of Scotts when he lived in Hawaii over four years ago.

Bought these flip flops for a vacation at the beach. I normally wear size 10.5 and ordered an 11.0, but had to return for a 12. Wore them around the house for 2 weeks before vacation to break them in. The toe thong caused a blister on one foot, but all was fine by vacation time. The flip flops were perfect for walking to, from and around the beach. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I started wearing these 13 years ago after moving to FL. Most comfortable and long lasting flip-flop I've found. This my 3rd pair (in 13 years) and wear them constantly.

Love Scott sandals! Best foot and arch support I've ever experienced in a sandal, not to mention the heel cup. Buy 'em, you'll like 'em.

When I first put the shoe on, it felt like it was too small with my heel slightly over the back of the shoe. Within just a few hours of wear, it fit perfectly and was comfortable for hours of wear.

Love these slippahs and lived in Hawaii for 10 years and was hooked on Scotts. They last forever and are so very comfortable. I ordered a 2nd pair!

These are the real deal, every other flip flop is a flop. I get over a year and a half out of these and I weigh 250 lbs.

I have been wearing Scott thongs since the 70's, when I bought my first pair at Liberty House in Honolulu. They are the absolute best thongs you can find anywhere. They have a perfect molded footbed, with an arch support, and the soles are configured with wave style razor cuts to be non-slip. I highly recommend these.

Size and fit do work for my square foot (5E width). This Makaha is a good value. Shipping was quick too. I forgot my password and almost gave up trying to get back to leave this review!! UGHHH

Nice sandal but they are a little heavier than I expected. If you looking for a nice light sandal for walking on the beach, these aren't the ones. Still a good quality sandal.

As usual, perfect. I don't buy shoes anyplace else. Why should I? Zappos always has what I want, and if I choose wrong, the return police is absolutely customer friendly. Thanks Zappos!

I read a review on the smaller size they come in, I wear a 9.5 in everything and these 10's are pushing a bit small. I should have got 11's. Now my right Makaha is comfortable but my left is feeling small. But only have 1 or so miles on them, I'm sure they'll loosen up. But buy bigger sizes! 1to 2 sizes up.

Great sandal, Fits well and appears to be well made. After several weeks of heavy use they still appear brand new. I was a little concerned at first because they seem really heavy for sandals, but it hasn't bothered me and they hold up well, so it's worth. Great value.

These sandals are good quality. At first you feel them heavy and then you will get use to them. Do not forget to buy them one size bigger.

Agree with most of the other reviews -- about the best arch support I have found in a flip-flop. This was the major issue determining by decision to purchase. Unfortunately there so run narrow at the front of the foot. My foot hangs over the outside edge right behind the little toe. So returned them. If you wear a B/C they should fit well, it you wear a D or above, they will most likely be too narrow. If they had been a bit wider, they would have been a great, supportive item.

A good, better-than-basic flip flop. The contoured foot bed and comfortable between the toe nylon make these better than average, but that's what's expected for the price. Originally purchased for my son, but when the 11's turned out to be too small, my husband (size 10-1/2) inherited these sandals. Order 1/2 size larger than usual size!

A well made sandal but, for me, definitely not as comfortable as the REEF brand I'm used to. The fit is good but the soles are thinner, made of a harder material and heavier.
