Love these boots and get compliments every time I wear them. They are comfortable and classic. I am a size 8 and according to their size chart I should order a UK 6. They were too big, I had to order a full size smaller and they are perfect.

These are amazing! So tough and durable, they even look good on a girl! I have a super small foot and they fit true to size. My new favorite boots!!

Definitely a half-size to a full-size smaller in fit than other Dr Marten's, particularly in width. Also, no insole liner. What's up with that? This is not a dress shoe, I want some cushion on the inside the other Dr. M's I've bought have that.

For my foot, which is wide in the toe area and narrow in the heel, these boots felt just right in the toe area but too wide in the heel. I had to buy heel grips. I have not had them long enough to know if this is working. But I think it will. I have rarely have to buy heel grips for shoes/boots so this is a wider fitting heel than normal.Also, I am typically a size 8½/9 womens US. But that had me in a size EU40 and that is not right. I am always a size EU39. So pay attention to the EU size and not the US size conversion.

I was disappointed. The first wearing I got blisters on the heel which is to be expected. However, upon the second time wearing them the buckle became detached from the shoe. Zappos resolved the problem promptly and at no charge to me. I am wearing them right now, they are comfortable (even for a wider foot), waterproof, which makes them wearable in winter, and ruggedly stylish.

These boots are great! They look and feel awesome! They only took about a day to break in. I have been wearing them about a month now and they show no signs of wear and they only get more comfortable. The only thing is you need to buy insoles. But that is to be expected with Dr. Martens.

Great fit and easy to break in. The black looks more like a really really dark brown but other than that, I have no complaints.

Much larger that the typical UK/US size conversion. I'm typically a 10 or 9.5 in US sizes, so I started with the UK 9, which was comically huge on my foot. I'm sticking with the UK 8, which should be a half size too small but is still too big, because I wear insoles. They're still a little roomy, even with insoles. The great thing is, with Zappos, returns are awesomely fast - and free!

Following the advice given in other reviews, I ordered these boots for my boyfriend a size larger than he'd normally take in Dr Martens. (He only wears Dr Martens.) We ended up returning them for his typical size. He mentioned that he can understand how they feel smaller width-wise, but the size up was just too big for him. He is complaining of some ankle discomfort as he's breaking them in.

These boots are phenomenal! Obviously they are unisex, so they may feel a bit big, but my antidote for that was a pair of gel insoles from CVS, and MAN are they the perfect boots now! I was specifically looking for a boot I could wear on my motorcycle and feel comfortable and protected, but that I also could wear with jeans and a sweater in the winter. I tried a pair of Stella Armada boots made specifically for women motorcycling, and they were returned, and I am so glad I bought these. I will definitely be buying another pair to switch it up. Probably the triumph 1914's with the satin laces. Those are hot boots. I highly recommend these boots for whatever your purposes are.

These boots rock! I love the details, the quality leather, and the buckles. The fit is good, if a tad narrow at the front of the boot. I highly recommend these - motorcycle or no motorcycle.

Love these boots! They feel great and look fantastic. They do lack the usual cushioning on the inside that other Docs seem to have, however, but that doesn't detract from the awesome. Felt absolutely true to size, too. I usually get a UK6/Woman's 8 but they were out of it, so I opted for the UK5/Woman's 7 and was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit just fine.

Bought these for my 17 year old son and he absolutely lives them. I have to say they are very cool looking and they fit him well. He wore them to school the day after getting them and didn't complain they they hurt or needed to be broken in. He's been wearing them every day since he got them even though it's August and we live in Florida and it's been 90+ degrees every day. So that's got to say something about these boots. As far as the fit, I got him his normal size and he says they fit fine. Overall a thumbs up for these very cool boots.

Gave these to my son for his birthday - I've heard no complaints so I'm assuming they're all he thought they would be - he wouldn't keep them if he didn't 1) like them and 2)weren't comfortable.

Love these boots! FYI, I wear an 11 1/2 (USA). I bought an 11 in these and they fit.

I really love these boots! I tried the slip on version of these boots first but they were very loose and my heel slipped up & down. I have narrow feet & since they lace up, they stay put, they are very comfortable. I also bought the insoles to make them fit a little tighter.

Runs a little large. I typically wear US 11.5. I ordered the US 11 and should have gone with a 10. Either way, the boot itself was not as comfortable as what I expect from Docs.

These boots are really cute. I am a solid women's 9 but when using the size chart that corresponded with this the boots seemed a bit large. I ended up keeping the size because there were no half sizes. They are very comfortable to walk and stand in and having the extra support at the ankle I don't really notice how roomy they are. I am happy with this purchase.

Love the edgy look of this boot unfortunately will return as ordered the smallest size available and is about 1/2 size too large. Thank you though Zappos for having the largest selection out there in sizes!

Great looking sturdy boot. A little difficult getting on your foot, but that's because the leather is so thick. I highly recommend this stylist boot.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he could not be happier - he's a motorcycle rider and was looking for something with "that look" - perfect fit and well constructed!

This boot met every expectation for style and quality. It was purchased for a style-conscious 19-year-old and she is very happy with them.

This is a heavy bad ass boot. Not for the faint of heart. These boots were made for stomping. I picked them cause they were rugged and waterproof and I thought they'd be perfect for my November trek through Europe but they lacked comfort in the sole and would require some serious breaking in which I don't have enough time for. Also they were at least a size too big. I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 women. These were size 6UK (7MUS) a 5 or possibly a 4 would be what I'd need.

These are my second pair of Dr. Martens. They are very comfortable and the buckled strap allow me to change how tight the boots are on my feet. The boots look much better once they have been worn for a couple of weeks. If you like the style of these boots, you will not be disappointed.
