I love these boots! Be ready for tons of compliments. I am a 5ft female, and these are the tough looking boots I've been looking for. And Dr. Martens always rule, always last, and always get noticed.

These boots have it all: style, function, and comfort. These are my second pair of Dr Martens and I'm kicking myself for not ordering them sooner. If you get these, you won't be disappointed.

I love this boot. Well made, stylish, and comfortable. My only wish is that it was a little shallower in the top of the foot. There is just too much room in that area so my foot moves around a bit in the shoe, and I can't get the laces any tighter! these are definitely a bit on the large side when I compare them with other Doc Marten boots that I have.

Based on other reviews I ordered a half size larger than normal (I wear a 10.5, and ordered an 11). The width was perfect, but I had some wiggle room front to back, and the boots felt roomy in general. I bought some decent insoles, and inserted them over the factory ones, leading to a snug and comfortable fit. The day after I got the insoles, I walked about 3 miles in rain and mud and my feet stayed perfectly dry and warm! I have received several compliments, and my only complaint is the tread has a tendency to collect mud logs, which harden and pop out on my carpet. Perhaps I will purchase a door mat!

I've had a pair of these for about 4 years now. My ONLY possible complaint is that the first pair I ordered from Zappos had a broken buckle, which they exchanged immediately. The pair that I received afterward have been amazing. After seeing that first pair, I was kinda worried about the buckles holding up, but they have weathered everything that I've thrown at them, (which has been a lot!) Comfortable and highly flexible. It's like wearing a tennis shoe.

I've been needing a new pair of boots for a long time now and my 6 year old Uggs are looking pretty shabby. I didn't want another pair of those because they aren't weather or water-proof, and everyone wears them, so I wanted something a little more grown up and different. I love these boots, and as always, Zappos customer service is exceptional. I am usually a size 9 but ordered the UK size 8 (womens U.S. 10) because I find sizing is a little funky with some Docs. Those were too big, my feet were swimming in them. I called customer service and at no charge they sent me the size down (U.K. 7, which apparently corresponds to a size 9) so I could see what fit better. They also gave me a refund because since I had bought them they had gone on sale. I got the new size the next day and they fit awesome! They are so comfortable and I love the look of these. I am so much happier with these than with the Triumph 1914. I returned those boots because they had buckles at the back that made noise with each step. The buckles on these are functional and not annoying like the 1914s. Great boot that I'm looking forward to wearing for a long time!

A little tough to slip on but they look and feel great. Very comfortable. Docs have always rocked and they always will. Wearing them since the 80's.

Hey, can you say anything bad about Dr. Martens, especially these? I can't! I've been wearing Docs for the better part of my life and these were a great addition. Just realize that these will take on a worn look, as they are supposed to. Areas where the leather bends will take on a lighter look. These are also the waxy leather so get some Dr. Martens dubbin polish to maintain. Great shoe, er, boot, great style and comfort!

Love these boots! I had to exchange them for a size smaller. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in a sneaker & a 9 in a boot or shoe. I ordered the 8 and they still have a generous amount of room.

Great boots! The fit out of the box was true to size, and they were the most comfortable boots I've ever owned on day one.

The style looks great and they appear durable and warm. Allegedly, this shoe comes in a US women's 8. The size options correlate this with a men's size 7, but typically men's sizes are 2 less than womens. So of course the shoes were way too big, and nothing is offered for women below a "size 8" so these are a no go for me.

Just got them and accidentally ordered a size too large (didn't realize 7 men in UK was 8 men in US) but just saying that they are not as red as they appear in the picture... maybe it is my laptop but yeah, more brown, still fab though!

My daughter loves these boots. They are rugged, cool looking and, this year, at least, the hot style. My daughter is 14. My only complaint is that Dr. Martens is overpricing their shoes.

I really wanted to like these boots. I wore nothing but Doc Martens when I was much younger, and wanted to resurrect part of my youth...but these were much too big. I am usually a true size 11, but the size 11 in this style felt a full size too big overall and much too wide. They made my already big feet look huge. Additionally, the laces included with the boots are too short to lace up to the top two eyelets - I'd expect more given the price I paid. Unfortunately, I had to send these back.

Not a happy camper with these boots. They are definitely Men's boots, that's for sure. Like one other reviewer suggested, pay more attention to the UK size than the converted US size. I usually wear a men's size 8 in US standards (which I thought was typically a women's size 10, but the sizing for this show says it's a US women's size 9), and I was sent a US men's size 9 and the shoes were way too big. I felt that even if I did get a size smaller, they would still look weird and bulky. The pictures on here make the boot seem slender, but mine definitely were not. I already have big feet as it is, I don't need extra bulk to make it worse. If they weren't as bulky, I probably would have really enjoyed them because they were comfortable, and seemed to be very well made (worth the price), but with my big ol' feet, they just weren't the right match and I sent them back immediately.
