Beautiful boot and colour. Zero arch support and the insole does not come out so you can add your own support.

Like other reviews say, this feels much larger than 1/2 a size bigger. Nonetheless, I had planned on wearing thicker socks with this so it works for me. The color is great and you can't tell it's not leather. The major thing that worries me is that they creased so heavily after just a few minutes that I wonder if the material will crack sooner than later. The soles squeak pretty loudly, too, more than other pairs I've had (even though the soles are same). Hopefully it chills out with time or you'll be able to hear me coming and going!

My daughter is 10. This style of boot was in style when I was her age. They are timeless. High quality, worth every penny! She has had so many compliments! She can wear with jeans, shorts, dresses. Super fun.

These boots are fantastic. But the fit is tricky. Ordered her normal size and it was way too big. Returning for size only.

These are great boots. First Docs I've bought, and they probably won't be the last. - I love the way the synthetic leather looks so similar to the real thing. Not into leather, so it's a good substitute. - The soles are comfy to walk on. They do bounce. - They seem like tough boots that'll last, but we'll have to see. - I was a little put off by the slim laces, but that's minor. - They seem clunky around the ankle, but I'm used to wearing Vans so it's probably just my perspective. Also minor. - No arch support. Coming from Vans, I personally don't care. Somebody with plantar fasciitis might, or maybe someone who just wants more support. Grab some insoles with these if that sounds like you. Great boots! They look and feel good. Glad I bought them.

Best boots. Once you break these in (1-2 weeks), they are like walking on air. I’ve been a big fan of these boots since the 1990’s and have ordered them time and time again because they are a great brand.

I loved these back in the late '80s and through the '90s and am so happy I gave in to my impulse to get another pair. And, I am thrilled that they now have a vegan option. Yes, they take forever to break in (everyone talks about the heels, but, for me, it's that blasted high top that bites into the meat of my calf) and your feet will suffer the consequences if you think you can put them on straight from the box and spend a full day clomping around town. Yes, the support is minimal and a good padded sock or insole to compensate is a necessity. But, it's all worth it because these bad boys are INSTANT coolness. They make a statement and are, in my estimation, about as close to timeless as you can get with a shoe. They pair well with jeans, leggings, sweatpants (you read that correctly), and skirts (yes, skirts). If you want an instant wardrobe update, just pair these with the clothing you already own--they really will transform it.

I really wanted to love these. Vegan Docs! They run really large though and if you have a small frame and run on the narrow side, these are going to be huge. It was large on my size 8 foot, and stupid large on my left foot that runs a half-size smaller, typically. I could slide the left boot on laced. I'm returning since I need extra support in the ankle area that I do not thing a smaller size will provide. Just posting my review so others out there can be aware that they run big.

Can't go wrong with a pair of classic docs.

Great boots for work. With all Dr. Martens, it takes a couple weeks to break them in, but once you do they are fabulous and they feel like you’ve worn them forever. The vegan option is great, very thick material and performs good in the snow and water. Excellent boot and great quality.

Gorgeous boots. Perfect fit. They stand up nicely, but are not stiff feeling.

Love the shoes, wish they came with better shoe laces. Do yourself a favor and order better ones when you order new shoes.

I love these shoes. They take a while to break in and the process isn't all that pleasant. I made the mistake of wearing these for 8 hours on the second wear. I could barely walk at the end of the night. HOWEVER, they seem solidly constructed, and with the Dr. Marten insole, they are more comfortable and provide better support. They look great. Hooray for durable fashion for vegans. I bought a 9 (wear a US 10-10.5) and they felt snug. A 10 might have been a better choice, especially with the insole.

I am in LOVE. I have been eyeing a pair of Doc to add to my rotation since before I went vegan, and I am so happy to finally have them! These feel amazing and only took about two or three wears to break in, much to my surprise given the horror stories of traditional leather doc break in time. They are so cozy and keep my feet toasty, are true to size (typically 7.5US and got a 5UK. Perfect!), and I can tell they are going to only wear better with time. Plus, the vegan leather is much softer from the get go than the real leather which I always give as a plus. Can't recommend enough!

I love that DM makes these and I hope they never stop (I hope they expand their vegan line) and I love the red color and the style but these boots kill my heels. I wonder if they are 1/4 size too small. I will try to stretch them out and continue to wear them as I believe you don't need to wear animals to be fashionable.

Peculiar fit. I can't speak to the durability of these boots, as I just received them, but the fit is very odd. I have a pretty normal foot shape and these are extremely tight over the top of the instep, while the heel pocket is extremely large. So the back of my feet are lifting up and out, while the top of my foot is being badly pinched. There is no arch support whatsoever and no padding, very similar to traditional Converse All Stars. Due to the extremely tight top of instep, there isn't enough room to fit some gel insoles or any additional padding, so I'm not sure these will work for me. I do love the classic style, can't go wrong there.

These are very comfortable and seem good quality so far. The sizing is a little off but I just wear them with thick socks. They are much less noisy than my previous vegan boots of a different brand, though they still make a little noise when I walk.

I was so worried getting these shoes, since they were my first Dr. Martens, but I can honestly say, they are the best and most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Didn't even get a blister breaking in, maybe some red marks that were gone in a couple of hours. SUPER COMFORTABLE I LOVE!

I love these boots! I can't wait to wear them everyday. I am a 7.5 and ordered the UK 6 knowing it would be a bit spacious. I put insoles in them to make up for the extra space. They are soooo comfy with some Vionic insoles.

I had to exchange these for a full size smaller than normal and they fit perfectly. Exactly what you would expect from Doc Martens but in vegan. No one can tell they are the faux leather, except for the tab color being full yellow. I actually prefer that so people are aware that this vegan is not wearing the real leather ones. I did put a insole in it because I left my heel was not supported well but that is it. I have had them for over a year now and they have kept up great.

I bought these Docs for my daughter about two years ago, and she loves them!! She's 16 now, a junior in high school. She wears these boots nearly every day, year round -yes even in the summer!! They're becoming a bit worn out so we're looking for a new pair. It's been awhile since I've ordered from Zappos since we live so close to a lot of shopping, but ZAPPOS IS THE BEST!

I'm not going back to traditional leather Docs after these! They are more comfortable from the start - NO break-in time, as the man-made materials are more pliant than new leather. The cost is the same, they LOOK GREAT, and I just walked a mile in them in pouring rain and the only part of me that's dry is my feet. LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Bit of a tight fit. I am a US 6.5. The size chart told me to order UK 4. I am hoping they will stretch with time. If you're in between sizes, it may be wise to size up.

Great vegan boot. Very sharp. Soft and comfortable right out of the box. No need to wear the skins of dead things.
