The fit and the size felt true to size but the toe box was too large for me. These are cute if the toe box wasn't so large.

I wear a size 40. I purchased the 41 to wear with heavy sock. I wore thin socks today and they where fine. I would say they run pretty true to size, but if you are on the 10 side of the 40 and want to wear HEAVY sock size up.

The toe is a bit boxy but overall the shoe is comfortable. Easy to get on. The top opening is a bit loose but can be somewhat adjusted with side closure

These were just too big in the heel. I don't know if Alegria has changed their sizing or what but it seems like every pair I buy lately has had this same issue.

There was a lot to like about this shoe - I especially loved the flap and doo-dad. But, it didn't fit me right. I couldn't snug the flap enough to be secure, and my foot was flopping around in it, especially when I walked.

These shoes were okay. I probably got the wrong size - I ordered a 37 when I wear a 6.5 to 7, and they were a little big. I believe they would have been comfortable if I'd gotten a smaller size. They just seemed to "duck" like when I put them on - wide and flat and kind of curving up at the toe. There was nothing really wrong with them but I found some Chacos and Eccos that I liked much better so these are going back. I just wanted a little more stylish shoe than these.

These are very cute, but the wide front is not flattering for those of us with large feet. It sort of gave me "duck feet." The construction was very clearly quality, and the color and embellishments really nice; however, they are not for me, so they are going back.

Nicely made. Classic roomy Alegria toebox. The ankle part of the shoe is lined in a nice velvetlike fabric. However, very hard to get on with my high instep. Also, a weird chemical smell. Made in China.

My older Algeria shoes were just a smidge larger at the same size (40). The are a little more comfortable than my new pair.

A little narrow for one foot but hoping it will break in and feel okay.

I absolutely love these boots! They are fun and colorful and my co-workers loved them too! Unfortunately, the top of the boot rubbed my pinky toe too much. I broke my toe a couple years ago which has caused it to be very sensitive, so I have a difficult time with shoes. I think a different style of Alegria shoes will work better for me. But the size of this bootie fit perfectly. I wear a 6/6.5 wide so I ordered the 36 and they were perfect.

Felt great on, but didn’t look good. Made my feet look huge. Also - I bought these thinking they’d be slip-resistant per the description, but according to the box they are not. Returned due to that fact.

The shoes are very light and I like the design with the dragon flies. I bought them as my new winter shoes for California. I have only purchased Alegria Verona Sandals in the past and this was my first pair of boots. As the footbed cover is non-slip and suede like it does make them hard to get on as your socks cannot slide on the footbed. I made sure the velcro was completely undone and folded down the tops in order to get my foot in with socks. I'm sure it will become easier as the footbed wears smooth as it did with my sandals. They are very wide and have a very strong arch support which feels a bit uncomfortable at first but I expect it to wear in as happened with all three pairs of my sandals. I usually take a size 37 but Alegria shoes are big so I ordered them in a 36 and they are a perfect fit. I will expect them to be very comfortable to stand and walk in especially on concrete floors. As it will be difficult to repair any scuffs I have sprayed the boots with waterproof protector and hope I don't scratch them anytime soon. The lining of the heel and ankle is slightly padded and feels like a slightly furry leather but it doesn't seem to be too hot.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I was looking for a comfortable bootie with some personality and this has both. Unfortunately I have high insteps and this bootie is way too tight across the top of my foot. Dang. That was a short love affair.

I'm a huge fan of Alegria sandals. The problem I have with their enclosed shoes is that they are much too wide for me, especially in the toe box. Even with a thick sock, this boot would be too wide. I also ordered a size down in this boot, but it was too short. I wish Alegria would come out with a narrow size, especially since their "regular" size runs wide.

I really wanted to like these but ultimately there were two issues, they were just too big -- both in terms of the style and the fit. I normally wear a 9 and got the 39 and they were still too big. Also, I thought they were cute but my family members all thought they looked like clown shoes! The second problem is the complete and total lack of traction. I have no doubt I would have fallen on the ice in these over the winter. In Minnesota, any kind of boot has to have some amount of traction or you're just asking for trouble. Sadly these got returned.

A very cute bootie, but though I wear 7.5, the 37 is too small with any kind of sock. I will exchange! This is my first pair of Alegria, so I am guessing about wearability. It is of nice quality.

I love the tonal paisley print on these shoes, however, I had to return them because they are too tight. I have one other pair of the Alegria Caiti in stamped leather and they fit using a wide width insole. I think the suede texture of these particular shoes made them feel tighter than the leather pair. I also wish that Alegria would offer the wide width footbed in all their styles and not charge people with wide feet and extra for a footbed that is simply thinner than the regular one.

I really like these boots. They are very comfy and stylish. They go well with skinny jeans and regular cut jeans. The only con is they run a little on the larger size. I am a size 8 and these feel about 1/2-full size larger. They run a bit wide too. I wish they were a little tighter and smaller. I give these 4 stars because of that. I have had several compliments from people when I wear them.

I own more pairs of Alegria's than should be allowed in her lifetime! That being said, I think all their boots/booties run a half a size big which really bugs me. I always wear thick socks and my feet still slide around in them. I desperately wish they would come out with half sizes to alleviate this problem, or make them more adjustable. They are only "SLIGHTLY adjustable" at best. They are smoking hot little boots though, I will say that!

Just got them yesterday and I can say that I'm already In love with them. I ordered 9-9.5 wide. My regular size is 8.5-9, but since they only come in full sizes, I went for the bigger one, with a little bit of fear that they will be too big, as some reviewers say that they run large. They feel only 1/4 size larger than my regular size, which means that, in my opinion they run a bit small. The width is perfect, I have wide feet and my toes do not feel cramped in them, I can actually spread them flat. The arch support is also great, much better than other shoe brands that claim their shoes have good arch support. The only downpoint is the the leather, it is a little bit too stiff (cardboard feeling) and it's around the ankle where you will feel that, as you walk. I can already picture getting some blisters, having skinny and bony ankles. For a second, I wanted to return them just for this reason, but they are so cute and so comfortable, that I really want them to work and soften up in time. I recommend them for everyone with wide feet and high instep. If you buy them in a bigger size, you'll have enough room to add a soft sole liner, for extra cushion. Thumbs up!

When I saw these boots, I thought that they looked so cute! And when I received them I was equally impressed, but when I tried them on they were really hard to get on which surprised me since I made sure to order a wide width. I could get my left foot in, but not my right and only after I had taken off my socks. The material of the insole grabbed at my socks which made it even harder to get them on. The toe box was very roomy and the arch support felt good, but I found that I didn't have enough room over the top of my foot. So they will have to go back.

These are cute, debated about keeping them but too expensive if you don't love On the fence about the texture look. Good idea but looks a little pleather-y!

The boots are very comfortable, cushy with good arch support. The color is unique, perfect with black or brown pants or jeans. But I have just never embraced the very popular style of shoes that curve up on the ends. They are elf shoes to me. I so wanted to love these boots, but alas, they are going back.

I'm still trying to figure out if I can make this cute boot work for me. I got the 5-5.5 but it's wide in the heel and plenty roomy for a very thick sock but my heel moves around it it to the point where I could almost slip it off. Wish there was a 4.5-5 in it. I'd try it. If you don't have really really narrow feet you'd probably be happy with it and order your regular size.
