These shoes are fairly comfortable but they squeak with every step! It doesn't seem so bad on a hard surface, but on carpet they are noisy! As far as fit I think they run big in the heel...maybe that's why they squeak?!

Terrific boot with lovely color, the desert black. I love all the Alegria shoes that I own, and these boots are no exception. I needed one size larger than usual in order to wear heavy socks. Otherwise, the Alegria-stated sizes are correct. Boots are really comfortable, no break-in time. Much cuter than in catalog.

I ordered these shoes in Mahogany and they are so neat looking with the gold top stitching. They were also very comfortable but I felt that their arch was not at all where my arch was - it was like 1.5" more towards the front so for that reason, I had to return them. Darnit - as I thought they were adorable.

Love the way they look, but too narrow in the size I typically order for Keens (8-8.5). Curious since others reviewed the shoe as larger. I will return and try the 39.

These are so comfortable. I am on my feet all day and they feel as great at the end of the day and in the beginning. They are a wee bit geriatric, but I think that gets diluted by their funky style.

These boots are cute and comfortable. I also like the color and the gold design on them. They are easy to put on and take off.

These shoes are stylish . I like the oversized buckle and the seam in the front. However, they are slightly long and the seams along the sides add to the width and length making them seem a bit large.

I was hopig that the toe box could accommodate my hammer toe, but it did not and it wa painful to wear. Loved the style and the look, but sadly, did not work for my poor feet.

Beautiful tooling on this shoe. The toe box is very wide, and makes my feet look much larger than normal, not graceful looking. Thus, I am returning them in hopes of finding a more graceful pair of boots.

Too large

Fit is good, maybe a little to loose, but I like a tight fitting shoe. I have arthritis, high arches, and am dealing with plantar fasciitis. These shoes are very comfortable for me. I also find Dansko and Birkenstock very comfortable if that helps.

The length seemed right and the footbed was very comfortable. Have to return b/c the heel portion felt sloppy when I walked, and I was unable to tighten them more with the Velcro strap. Sorry to see them go, but I could only imagine the leather stretching more with use.

I really liked these shoes, but there was some odd indentation/stitching near the outer toes, which really caused my last 2 toes a lot of discomfort. Otherwise, they were great. Too bad they spent so much on the design but failed in this small area.

Love these....one shoe fits snugger than the other. Plan to return for a larger size. They are very cute on.

Everything about this shoe/boot was what I wanted except the heel was too loose. I considered getting heel pads, but for the price of this shoe, I decided to get something else and return these.

The heel was tight getting on but once on felt good as did the arch support. But the toe bed didn't work for me. I so hoped it would but it was too tight across the the top of my foot.

Too wide at upper ankle for me.

Nice looking, well made, run small

I wanted to love these boots. They are very comfortable and easy to put on. I liked the looks, but they seem wider then an average. The toe was ok but my heel kept slipping around. As much as I liked the look, they are going back.

Unfortunately when I bought them I didn't see that they had a sort of furry fabric lining. This makes them too warm and not comfortable for me to wear with socks, so I'm returning them.

The fit was good except that the toe box was not high enough for my toes. The style was cute and the material was softened attractive. I am sorry to return them but my toes needed more room.

Attractive shoes, but hard To get my foot in them with a sock on, due to the suede-like material inside shoe. Foot doesn’t slide in smoothly. Also felt narrower than the other Algeria shoes I’ve ordered in wide.

Toes didn't have enough room above in the toe box. We're too smushed, even though the boots were plenty long.

Not a bad fit but a little wider up front than was comfortable for me. Style was very cool in the photos but seemed a little clunky in person. Preferred the Pikolinos I got in the same order so these went back.

Footbed comfortable. Style didn't suite me. Felt like I had duck feet.
