Very comfortable. I have a difficult foot to fit; wide across the toes, bunions, high arch and average heel. I wear regular width in this brand. Cute elf boot.

Way too big

Love these boots! They’re super comfortable and i gets tons of compliments whenever I wear them. This is my second pair. I decided I needed one for roughing up; walking the dog and going to the beach. And second pair to keep polished.

I wear size 40 In the Alegria Classic and it's perfect. This shoe is super cute and looks great but unfortunately my heel is very narrow and my foot almost slips out of the shoe with every step. If you have a normal width I would highly recommend.

For some reason, I DO feel awesome wearing these. That's spite of the fact that they have something of a Herman Munster vibe. I have worn Allegria sandals previously and loved them. I think I will love these. Nice wide and tall toe box for my suddenly sensitive feet. I hope the oiled leather (think horse saddle) will not be too hard to care for. I see that they scratch easily.

I love these shoes. I wore them right out of the box for an 8 hour work day. The arch support is GREAT.

I have been wearing a pair of Alegria sandals size 39, so ordered these boots in a 39. The size 39 boot was too small - my toes hit the front of the boot - so am returning the 39 and will try them in a 40.

These are sooo comfy! I’ve read reviews that say they are difficult to get on; I had no problem with my prescription compression stockings. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful leather, soft with a subtle pattern of ? ROSES! Great look, Allegria! The button/strap is long enough for slender ankles like mine, but will accommodate several sizes, I’d imagine. The inside of the entire boot is lined with a soft, fuzzy material to add warmth! My foot just slid in and was held like a moccasin by the soft leather. The support on the bottom isn’t as strong as the clogs are in this brand, (I own 3 pair!) however the fit of the boot makes up for it! I’ve read the insole bottoms are removable, however I did not try that. The rocker bottoms I love Algeria’s for wasn’t as strong as clogs, either, but the bottoms seem shaped for walking or even hiking once you break them in ! I love these boots, put them away for cold weather??Thank you Zappo’s for the terrific help from Mr. Perry, he was cheerful and very helpful !! Enjoy??

These are very comfortable! There’s a lining inside which can make it snug the first time out of the box; but the beautiful leather (Mine happen to be brown) stretched to mold my foot! It is true to size, but let it get warm and soft??The inserts have less support than the clogs do and the rocker bottom feels smaller to me, but it seems the better way to make a boot. The strap with silver button is cool looking and the leather has roses covering the entire boot! I love the subtle differences and leather??Home Run, Algeria ??

This is the most comfortable boot/shoe I have ever worn. Being 60 that's really saying something. Depending on what kind of socks you wear you will want to size accordingly. I have wide feet and wear hand knit socks which admittedly are thicker than most socks you buy over the counter. Think thick even though the yarn is small. So I do usually wear a wide width and size up half a size. I will admit when I first got the shoes I was a little worried they would be too big even with my hand knit socks, but they were perfect. I want a pair in brown now too. If I didn't wear hand knit socks I probably could have worn a normal width boot and still been very comfortable. The most wonderful thing about Zappo's is that you aren't penalized for send a shoe back to try on a different size if the fit isn't right at no charge, they want you happy. And I am. Amazon carries this boot in a deep gun metal gray but I really want brown. I will be trying more shoes in this brand. They are that comfortable. I work in a medical clinic and am on my feet most of the day on cement floors. My feet feel so good even after 8 hours that I could go dancing if I had a mind to after work. Alegria, you are my new first choice in foot wear and Zappos, you have my loyalty.

Satisfied customer here, really satisfied. I am rarely happy with shoe purchases, partly because of fit issues, and partly because of foot issues (I've had ankle surgery and sesamoiditis). When I do find shoes that work for my issues I usually hate the way they look. Furthermore I never know for sure what my size is going to be, because I wear 7-7.5 in street shoes, and 8.5 in running shoes. The suggested 38 was perfect for my feet in this shoe. This is the only pair of non-running shoes I've found with rocker soles that don't look like "old lady shoes" - in fact, they are downright stylish! And in terms of comfort - the first time I put them on I had a thin pair of socks on and they seemed to slip around a bit, so I thought I was going to need to add a thicker insole. But then I discovered I could actually tighten the velcro more than I had realized, plus I tried wearing slightly thicker socks. It was so comfy that I forgot and wore them an entire day the first day. The shoes seem really well-made. I'm not a huge fan of the Alegria butterfly on the sole, but I understand it's their logo. I'm hoping they will keep making these, and in different colors.

Rarely do I ever buy the right size on the first try. I usually wear 7.5 in street shoes and 8.5 in running shoes. The 38 was perfect for me. They do fit better if I wear cushioned socks - really thin ones make them seem to slip around a bit, even with the velcro tightened. It's almost impossible to find rocker soled shoes for my sesamoiditis that don't look like old lady shoes - but these fit the bill - no one would ever think they are for a foot problem. I accidentally wore them a whole day the second day I had them (I had put them on to wear around the house and forgot and wore them to work!) My feet were incredibly comfortable. I would like to see them in a brown color - I understood there used to be some brown versions. Bring them back!

I have found a new favorite brand. I have been wearing Danskos for a few years, but lately have had trouble finding a style that worked. In Danskos I normally wear size 39, so that's what I tried first with Alegria. They were a little too snug in the toes, both length and roominess, so I sent them back and tried 40, and they are perfect. Really happy with this purchase. Very cute and great support and comfort.

These are super cute boots and very comfortable with a nice wide toe box. I usually wear an 8 but a 39 was recommended. They were too big, but Zappo's makes returns so easy, so I got the 38 in a couple days. At first they seemed snug, but after I walked around the house, I found them to be perfect. I have a lot of shoes, but none in black plaid, so these were a stand out. Would recommend.

I had THE highest hopes for these boots. Sadly, they slip on my heels and am unable to sufficiently adjust the fit with the velcro. Cute, but just not for me. Thanks Zappos for allowing me to return them.

Incredible comfort right out of the box, such as I've come to expect from Alegria (they've spoiled me, really, haha!) My problem feet have nothing bad to say. The support from the soles is top-notch and the sumptuous leather upper wraps around the foot an ankle with no chafing or tender spots. The only small gripe comfort-wise is that they're not that easy to put on. The opening is tight initially, but once you slip your foot in, the level of comfort is seriously INSANE. I can forgive a lot for that level of comfort and function. I can even forgive the styling. The wide toe-box and ergonomic shape of the shoe is difficult to disguise. I'm not going to win any style awards wearing these, but the absence of foot pain puts a big smile on my face, and they say that a smile makes you look more attractive :)

These shoes are a dream! I love the smart style and get tons of compliments on them. The size and width are true to size and the velcro closure allows for easy off and on. I've had the dusty brown color for 2 yr. and they have worn very well, still as good looking as ever, and are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have a hammertoe and have a lot of trouble finding shoes that don't hurt my feet but these feel like they were made for mine. I like them so much that I'm going to try and find the same shoe in black and maybe other colors.

I had a hard time finding a bootie that was stylish and would fit me. I wear an 11.5 W. This is a difficult size to find. These boots are awesome. I did take my shoe stretcher with a knob for specific areas to stretch the left boot for my LARGE bunion. Perfect!!. I have arthritis in both feet also. These are so comfortable. I wear them with skirts or leggings. Dressy or casual. Very nice. I usually wear a 43 in European sizing. These note 42 was size 11.5 -12. Different sizing from the norm. Took a chance it wasn't a miss print . Love them

Loved these and so grateful that they came in my size...9 wide! I'm back for the black now!

Love right out of box! I wear an 8½ so I ordered the first pair but not perfect. But well enough to maybe keep. I ordered up to the next size - and what a difference! These boots are adorable - I have never seen anyone wear them! Plus I have plantar fasciitis and these feel like Heaven!

I have been looking at these online for awhile. I finally decided to go for it.I have ordered several Alegria shoes and have loved them all. This pair was no exception. They are very well made and fit great. The width is not too narrow for a medium foot. I know I will love them once I really wear them, have only tried them on. The heel seems a little snug, hopefully they will stretch once worn a couple of times. These are great shoes!

Beautiful boot! Wonderfully wide across the ball of the foot. But also very wide across the heel and ankle and therefore feeling unstable for the coming icy wintery weather. So regretfully I'm returning them.

After purchasing several pairs pf the Pesca sandal last summer, I got to know how great Alegria shoes are for me. I am a very flat footed person, who needs a lot of support and these are perfect. When I saw the Cati boot, I jumped on it even tho' it's pricey, but well worth it. The boots are very lightweight and so comfortable. They look so up-to-date and they make me feel happy. I fnally found a shoe brand that I can wear comfortabley and is good for my poor very flat feet. Thanks, Alegria!

Love these little boots. It is difficult to find shoes that are actually the shape of the true human foot. These fit the bill. I have morton's neromas in both feet and these shoes feel great. I will definitely be buying more of this brand.

I usually wear a size 39, but had to size down to a 38. They were comfortable. I could walk in these shoes all day. I had to return them because an inside seam on the left shoe was rubbing the top of my foot.
