Are usually wear a 9 1/2 and I have big toe arthritis. I ordered the shoe in a 9 1/2 to 10 wide, but I have small ankles so the Velcro was not long enough to secure my ankle, as well as my heel was slipping. The width was fine.

I love a wide toe box but this style was so wide, it felt like I had clown shoes on. Too bad. I like the look of them.

This is a cute stylish shoe. It just doesn't work for my back and feet.. Will have to return them.

I bought wide. I have a high arch and could not get these shoes on on. Adorable! Wish they came in wider widths. Returning these. I never got them on so do not kniw if the are true to size and width. Also do not know about support.

Super super cute. I ordered the size I normally wear in Alegria but they are too big and my heel is lifting severely when I walk. I have a high instep, so the Velcro closure was critical and the tongue loose enough, yet I struggled to pull them on. A half size smaller would be impossible for me to get on. Sadly they have to go back.

The foam in the arch irritated my arch as it hit right at a spot where I had a plantar fibroma. The back of the shoe also hit at the ankle, which was painful. If not for this, it might have worked. I was not able to wear it long enough to find out if it works for my high arches or not.

Too tight and too small. I wear a 38 in the Alegria sandals and a 38W in the Classic style. With a thin pair of socks, I couldn’t even get my foot in these and they’re supposedly wide! It’s a clunky style, which I expected. Exchanging for a 39.

I ordered these in a wide, but I felt like they were very narrow. Really couldn't wear them at all.

The shoe was cute, but it was not wide enough to fit my feet because of bunions.

Cuter online than in person. Have obvious silver top stitching. My hubby looked at them and said they were uglier than sin. Even so I would have kept them if they had been more comfortable.

I LOVED the look of these shoes and was disappointed to have to return them. I wear an 8-1/2, but this shoe comes in European sizes, so there are no half sizes. Size 39 was too big, Size 38 was too small. My heel was loose in both of them. Another issue with this shoe is that it is lined (on the sides and under the tongue) with a lovely, furry material that won't let your sock slide past. Therefore, it was very hard to determine the fit, because my socks always ended up pulling so tightly against my toes, that my foot felt constrained. No matter how I arranged my sock beforehand, it ended up very tight. The toe box is very sturdy, so I couldn't press on the shoe to determine where my foot ended. Truthfully between the sock issue and the hard toe box, I really couldn't determine if these fit. I might have known more if I wore them for a week, but being on the expensive side, I opted to return them.

Cute boots but my skinny foot moved around too much so sadly, they were sent back. This would be a great boot for someone who doesn’t quite need a wide shoe but doesn’t have skinny feet!

Cute shoe but it was definitely too large. I ordered the same size I typically wear in Alegria shoes, but it was long and really wide in the toe-box.

I wear a wide shoe and I could not get my foot in the shoe. I do not think going up a size will even help.

Many of the reviews said that this shoe runs wide. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I couldn't even get my foot in this shoe. They are adorable! But, unfortunately, I will have to return them.

I was hoping that these boots would have a true rocker bottom to protect my bunion, but they flex fairly completely with each step. Otherwise they are cute shoes.

These Alegria Caiti shoes are really cute however when I put them on (yes they are very comfy), I look down at my feet and all I can think of is clown shoes. I suppose it's the way the tow box is structured. I am not keeping these and hopeful that Alegria will consider rounding off the toe box in their future shoes.

I really liked the look of these boots, but the ankle area felt very loose due to the Velcro strap being unable to be pulled tightly enough. I did not feel secure walking.

Runs about 1/2 size too big and very bulky and heavy in the toe area. Great leather and look though.

Loved the look, the Velcro closure, the arch support and how it fit until I walked in it. It slipped in the heel area and I knew that wasn't ever going to change. Too bad, I really liked the shoe.

Yes, they are comfortable. They don't have that typical heel to toe drop-almost, maybe, a semi rocker sole(one reason I once liked Earth Shoes-helps to take pressure off spine & foot). And the toe box is roomy. And they are cute. I had mild chaffing on a bunion after 5 hrs, even with a close knit thin soft sock-mainly due to the leather not having much give. For this price point I would hope for a better quality leather-softer. One reviewer mentioned having gotten her feet all wet while being in the rain, and would try a leather protectant. As that might help I think the biggest reason is that the broad stitching is also on the underside of the shoe-under that ridge where shoe meets the entire bottom platform. All in all, I will keep the boots cause I do like the look & comfort, but I won't buy another pair unless unless it's priced lower. I have a pair of Clarks & Born ankle boots, both comfortable & far better materials, construction & price.

I usually take an 8 but the boot was too big. My flat range between a 7 & 8. I love the material and the footbed. The boot will look great with stretches. I am on my feet all day and I can already tell that Alegria shoe footbeds are for me. I am in the process of exchanging to a size 37. I am giving 5 star ratings for all the categories because I know once I have the right size I will wear these boots out!

I love these boots. BUT, the size 38 was too wide. I took a chance and ordered the 37 but they are too short. I am really disappointed because I loved the look and feel of these. Sending both pair back.

These looked really cute online, but as other reviewers have said, they look really wide and square. I liked them with bootcut jeans, but with skinny jeans, my feet looked big and weird. I really liked the pattern on the leather and they were well-made and the sole was very comfortable. I have to say that while the arch support was significant, it felt like it was in the wrong place, too far forward on my foot. Also, I have high insteps and these were very tight across the top of my foot. I also tried a wide width and it felt exactly the same. I still had the regular width shoe for comparison and I could tell absolutely no difference in the width! I'm disappointed, I really wanted these to work!
