The boots are beautiful, and made of a good grade of hide, but they are absolutely not a knee high boot, so don't be fooled by the search parameter fields. I am of average height/ 5'9" and they barely hit mid calf. The toe box is narrow even in a wide. Sigh.

I am so disappointed with the "regular" width on this shoe. I ordered both the 7.5 and 8 (even though I'm 7.5) hoping that I could get by with the regular width. No go. It was so tight, just like many other reviewers had said. And I'm not normally a "wide" person. Very disappointed because the shoe is very cute and almost all wide sizes are on backorder. Darn! I will suck it up though and get on the waiting list because aside from the toe box issue, I want these shoes!

These boot are very comfortable! I love them and could wear them all day. Great quality!

This is a very attractive, well made boot. The Artisan gold color is gorgeous with denim. The heel gives a nice height and the boot is pretty comfortable given the height. Unfortunately it really does run a little narrow and even though I sized up half a size beyond my normal size for a boot (which is half a size bigger than my normal size for a shoe) the width was barely adequate, and the arch was in the wrong place, probably because the boot was made for a longer foot. Also the boot hit at an unflattering place on my calf (I'm 5'3") and I would not have been able to wear it with jeans tucked in. So, though it was so pretty I really wanted to like it, I will have to send it back.

Great quality boots. really waterproofed. good leather. though someone may find them narrow in instep. very stable and not slipping. They are loose in calves and ankles (because of no zipper) you may consider this. They look perfect both with slim jeans and skirts.

I read many reviews saying it's too narrow, I usually wear 6 1/2 or 7, I order 7 it fits perfect, maybe because I usually found shoes too wide, so this were perfect for me, plus they look very nice and and are really comfortable.

So worth the price! I love these. Comfort, fit, style, everything. I usually wear a 4.5 dress shoe but go up to a 5 for boots. I had to get a 5.5 (no 5 available). It fits well. Roomy but not too much so I'd say they do run small. I am between a medium and a wide and I got the medium in these and there is enough room. They are a bit loose around the ankle (as one reviewer wrote) but I don't find it troubling at all. These were soft and supple out of the box but they will only get softer with age and the looser ankle will make them slouch - which I like. I am very short and the height of these boots is perfect for my small frame - they come just below my knee. The stitching around the boot is not obnoxious at all - it adds style. I absolutely LOVE these boots. I can walk and dance and wear them for hours. No regrets on this big purchase!

Great Boots! These boots are so cute and really comfy considering the height of the heel. The color is not as bright orange as the picture, more rustic I would say.

Went shopping at the insane outlet world, tried on TONS of boots. These were the only ones of a not-too-tall height AND well made. I knew it at first try. Nice leather, good crafting. Not too frilly.

I really love these boots. They are comfortable and stylish. I am only 5'3" and these are a good alternative to knee high because the shaft is not too tall for me but they still only come to slightly above mid-calf. They are great with boot tights and I can still wear them with skinny jeans. (My calves are 13".) It seems to me they run a bit small. I normally wear a size 6, so ordered a 6½, but they are still too snug for heavy socks.

The boots look great. Workmanship is very good, the shaft is leather and the sole doesn't slip. Very comfortable, I have worn them all day and my feet don't hurt. My feet are narrow but with a pair of boot socks they feel fine. The price was to good to miss out on!

Fits great, very comfortable. I was looking for a casual boot to wear with jeans and run errands in. I have worn these all day and my feet felt great at the end. The leather is more rustic, not a polished leather.

These are so comfortable! The heel is thick enough that it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing heels. They look great with jeans or tights and skirts/dresses. I bought these boots in a 9 originally at a local store but they were a bit too tight, 10 was too big. The stores in Canada didn't think that a 9.5 existed in this boot but luckily I found them on Zappos! The 9.5 fit perfectly, I ordered the wide version after reading everyone else's reviews and it's perfect with a thick sock. Love these!

I love these boots. Very comfortable and they look great. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8, went with the 8 and there's plenty of room for a heavier sock. Real glad I made this purchase.

I loved this pair of boots the first time I saw it. I bought this in a size 8 because of the review that it runs small. I usually wear 6½ to 7 on open toe shoes but I thought 8 would be better on closed shoes. But when I got the size 8 they were big. My feet slide forward. So I contacted customer support Monday morning if I could exchange them for a size 7½, they sent them right away and I got them the next day. That was amazing service. At first I could not slip my foot into the shoes and I thought I was going to have to stick with the 8, but amazingly I got them to work. The side pull tabs helped. I tried them on around the house (with a dress) they look great and fit perfectly with enough room in front of my toes. They are much better than the size 8. So I am sending the size 8 back to them. They are well made.

I love these boots! They are really comfortable, even without socks. The dark olive color is subtle and unusual and goes well with everything. They look great with long or short skirts, shorts, and of course jeans. The heel is small enough that I can walk in them for hours. The height makes them much easier to get on and off than pull-on knee-high boots--I'm 5'6 and they come up to about mid-calf. I have pretty muscular calves so the width of the boot calves is quite flattering. My usual size--8.5--fits perfectly.

Purchased these boots in the Artisan gold, which is a stunning reddish-orange brown, and not as almost day-glo bright as they appear on screen. They are extremely comfortable, the heel height makes them very wearable. I am not experiencing the issues others have noted about sizing. I ordered my usual size and width and they fit perfectly. I'm 5'8 and this hits me just a hair above the base of my calf, which is what I was looking for. I usually purchase wide calf boots for knee-high styles, so I was a little concerned about these being tight, but because of where they hit my leg they fit just fine with a little room to spare.

Like everyone says, these run really small. I always wear a 7, but I ordered a 7 1/2 and they are still too small. Very narrow. Cute though.

Love these boots! So sexy. I normally wear a 6.5 WW, but based on others reviews that these run small I ordered a 7W (D). They are plenty wide enough and perfectly roomy length wise as well.

Zappos provided the best service ever! I called to see if I could change the address to have it shipped and not only was the person on the line really nice and helpful, they got here the very next day, even after I had called the prior afternoon! The boots as very comfortable! I absolutely love them, initially they are a little stiff, but once you break them in they are great!

I'm normally a 10 or 10 1/2 in shoes, sometimes have to go down a 1/2 size in heels, but I ordered an 11 per reviews that said they run about 1/2 size too small. Unfortunately the 11s ended up being too long, but the width felt true to size. They were out of the 10s in black, but I found them elsewhere and they fit great. I would say order your normal size in heels without going up, then see where to make fit adjustments from there. It's easy to make a return with Zappos' quality customer service.

I love the look of this boot. I found it very difficult to pull on at first and considered returning but I'm glad I didn't. They were comfortable from the first wear.
