I bought these shoes about a year ago and they were very comfortable. However, after only one season, the seam has torn on one of the shoes and the insoles are falling apart. Very disappointing for a pricey pair of shoes.

This review is the same as one I wrote for another SoftWalk clog--had the same exact issues. Cute, but I saw an obvious cutting/sewing flaw in the leather--in a corner where the upper meets the sole--that I'm pretty sure would get stretch and begin to come apart with wear. Also, the top of the upper felt too tight, like it was digging into my insteps as I walked. I do have wide feet, but these were size 6 1/2 Wide. I had the same exact problems--including the location of the sewing issue--in another SoftWalk clog I tried. Will not be trying this brand again. I must admit I have a bias against anything manufactured in China. I don't trust the integrity of the materials used, and I don't appreciate companies' letting quality slide nor their sending work overseas to save money.

Fit my wide-with-high-arches feet perfectly and were extremely comfortable. However, these are very clunky looking in the wide size, and made my 9.5-wide feet look even larger than they usually do. In addition, I was disappointed to realize that the red shoes have brown on the sides of the (black) soles and looking back at the pictures that should have been obvious, I suppose, but it was more noticeable in person, and I'm really not a fan of the brown-on-black combo.

I typically take a wide shoe, but the wide size on this shoe felt like a WW. The other SoftWalk I ordered (also in a wide), the Murietta, felt perfectly true to size.

One shoe was longer than the other! I know my feet aren't that different in length. They were true to size only without socks. :-( I am glad this shoemaker provides half sizes for those of us over size 10!

If you have a high instep, this shoe is not for you. I always try on shoes at the end of the day to make sure they will accommodate swelling - these did not. In between the cushiony footbed and the padded upper, my feet felt painfully squeezed on all sides. It's been 40 minutes and I can still see the marks left by the shoes on the top of my feet. Back they will have to go.

I so much wanted these shoes to be comfortable. The edge of the clog upper over the top of my foot hurt from the moment I put these on. The sole is comfortable but the little elastic notch at the arch actually scrapes my foot and hurts too. Last of all, and probably because these are a size 12M, with each step I get a very strange sucking kind of noise as I pick up each foot. Alas, I must send these back and appreciate Zappos' return policy.

Cheap looking and like a granny shoe

Loved the look of this clog but could barely get it on my foot to try it out. Had to send it back. Thanks for your easy returns policy!

For a double wide, it fit snugly, but comfortably. My biggest problem was with the look. It looked quite bulky due to the padding over the foot - not the sleek look I was looking for.

I’ve worn Softwalk for years because they’re so comfortable, but the last few pairs I’ve ordered have been anything but. The uppers have been really stiff and on this style, sewn in such a way as to force my foot to sit slightly sideways on the platform. This was my go-to brand for comfort but I think it may be time to try something else.

This shoe looks very nice at first look. The problem is that it felt very stiff and uncomfortable once you put your feet into them. I was sorry that I had to return them. However, Zappo’s customer service is exceptional - it is my go to place to buy shoes !??

I really liked this shoe for it's support and style. I need support for standing on my feet all day, but it was just too short and the next size up would be too big. regretfully, I sent it back.

Wow, does this shoe run BIG. I ordered a 9, and it is almost an inch too long. It has a dull appearance--unlike the shinier leather in the picture.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever ordered. BUT- scuffed. Now, this is the second pair of the exact same style I ordered BECAUSE the first pair also came badly scuffed (I mean a half dollar size scuff on one shoe with three scratch marks on the other. An anomaly. Apparently not, because I ordered the same Abby style in a different leather color and they, too, are scuffed. My husband suggested shoe polish. On a brand new shoe but what if that did not work AND WHY should brand new shoes be scuffed? so, this was the second and last time I ever try SoftWalk shoes which makes me very sad because the shoe was a perfect fit, so comfortable, and did not make my very large foot look quite so boatlike.

Had high hopes for these clogs with the name "Soft" in the title but the lack of arch support is a deal killer. Looking to replace a pair of Klogs but will go back to that brand. Also, ran at least half size small.

This shoe is way too long. At least 3/4 inch! The width is fine. I usually wear an 11 in most shoes (even those with an open back). I'm going to hold off on ordering the 10.5. I want to look at some other styles first.

They are very comfortable right out of the box. I really like the style. But after wearing them for one day the right one has a weird air pocket that inflates and deflates with every step. I'm hoping it'll go away because it's really distracting!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes, but they are going back. Every step I took sounds like I'm walking on bubble wrap. Very disappointed.
