These boots are so gorgeous. I got them in taupe and can't be happier. They are super stylish and fashionable yet incredibly comfortable at the same time! You can dress these up and down, they look great with skirts/dresses and with jeans tucked in. Picture doesn't do them justice, they are amazing. I wish I could afford them in every color! These are my favorite pair of shoes I have owned in a long time. They are so cute, comfortable, and every single time I have worn them I have received compliments - several - even from total strangers.

Finally! After searching for two years for the perfect cognac colored boot, with just enough heel, edgy yet sleek, but fit my 15½" calves. I found these boots! LOVE these boots! They are awesome looking although they did hurt my toes slightly after wearing for a full day. But I'm a wimp and don't wear heels, in general, very often. I'm hoping with a little love and care they will last me a long time!

I love these boots! They are very comfortable and stylish. Great for casual occasions. I normally wear an 8.5 and I got these in a 9 so I could wear thicker wool socks with them and the fit is perfect. My calves are 15" and these are a snug fit but will allow for skinny jeans tucked in. I've only worn them once but was on my feet for a long time and they were comfortable and I got lots of compliments. Love em'!

I have athletic calves and have a hard time finding boots. These are comfortable and fit nice.

I never go wrong with Born. These boots are very comfortable. I wear them for long hours and walk a lot on the days that I wear them. They have a military look to them because of the two zippers and buckles. I get a lot of compliments on them. Skinny jeans tuck easily inside. They zip completely open so are very easy to get on and off. The buckles do not interfere with the zippers. In other words, no unbuckling of buckles. Love them.

I ordered these boots in the Brown and the Taupe and the color is beautiful for both. The Taupe is a perfect shade that will go with any color and the style is great; I love the outside zipper; looks really cool! Unfortunately, the calf is too snug to wear with anything other than tights--no way could I wear these with leggings or jeans tucked in. But they are absolutely beautiful boots, and being Born, they are very comfortable. I did need to order a half size up as the foot was a little snug in my normal size. Overall, I love the look and feel of this boot and if it came in a wide calf I would have kept both colors :-)

LOVE the look; get tons of compliments when I wear them. My only complaint (and it's a big one for me) is there's no cushion under the front half of the foot... OUCH. I live in NY where we walk everywhere. For that alone if I hadn't already worn them outside I would return them and try a different brand.

Beautiful boot, ordered and they were at my door the next day! I am usually a 9 but ordered a 9 1/2, they fit great so I would say they run a bit small, but they are incredibly comfortable. And they look great, casual or dressy. I wore them with Jeans and got a ton of compliments on them, I love getting complimented on my boots! If you are on the fence, definitely order these, they are worth every penny.

These boots are great. I nearly returned them when I got them because it was hard to get the zipper up all the way. After wearing them a few times they stretched & now fit perfectly. Very comfortable. I wear them often & have received many compliments.

Great boots. They look and feel expensive. The heel height is perfect for long periods of wear. If you have high arches, they may get uncomfortable after a while, but not enough to make me take them back. They just barely fit my 16 runner's calves but I can feel that they're already looser after my first wear. The light tan/brown color will go with most everything. I did think they felt a little bit larger than marked. If you're between sizes, definitely go down to the lesser size.

These are great quality boots. They are so comfortable. The leather is great, not shiny like some cheaper boots are. I cannot usually walk for long in shoes with this heel height but with these boots, you do not even notice. I do not know if its because of the chunky heel or just the quality of the boot. The heel is maybe a tad too chunky looking, but because of the comfort, I do not care! These are just overall great boots, and I will definitely purchase the Born brand in the future and I will definitely shop at Zappos again. Free shipping and your shoes arrive so fast! I had to return a pair and it was so easy. I love the videos of someone trying on the shoes also but please show them walking/standing in the shoe longer.

This boot can take me anywhere...and has! They are comfortable beyond description and the style element is unsurpassed among the myriad of boot options this year. I chose taupe which has proven to be the best color for my life style...Ranchwife/hairdresser. Small town. Big city. The born milari is my go to boot! Love them!

I absolutely love these boots. I have long legs with a skinny calf. I always have a hard time finding boots that will be tall enough and the shaft is always too wide. These fit perfectly all the way around and they are very comfortable, too. They are a great boot for skinny jeans, but have a hard time fitting them underneath straight leg jeans because of the buckles at the top of the boot. They look great with a skirt and are probably my favorite boots in the closet.

Beautiful boot, great leather quality. It exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a pair of boots that you can dress them up or down and look good and the Milari is the perfect one. Great buy for the money. Order half size bigger.

I feel like I am wearing slippers! They are true to size, maybe slightly bigger. I have tiny calves but there are adjustable straps so though I still have room, it's more snug. I've worn them with jeans and tights - both ways look fantastic. I have spent an entire day walking around on vacation and did not experience any pains and I have picky feet! I love the color as well, they look already broken in. I highly recommend these boots.

When I purchase these I was concerned about the calf size and whether they would fit my large calves. To my surprise they fit perfectly. I get lots of compliments on them, even my daughter borrowed them before I could even wear them the first time. If she likes them they must be awesome! The fit is so much like the born shoes I own, and the fit me so well.

After searching and trying on countless boots, I found the perfect pair. I run/elliptical a lot and so my calves are a tad muscular and these fit perfect. I love the gorgeous brown color. The most important thing I love is that these taper at the ankle and are roomy in the calf area so they don't make your ankles look huge. Love the heel height also. Another plus, Zappos great customer service/shipping!

I am in love with these boots. I shopped around a lot seeking the perfect brown boots. I'm hard to fit, with athletic calves, and often have pain in my right foot from inadequate arch support. These are incredibly comfortable, no pain, even after a full day of wear. Finally a comfort brand with some style! The calf is also large enough that I can wear jeans tucked in to them. I get tons of compliments on them everywhere I go.

Nice boots; Born is one of my favs. Soft leather and fairly comfortable heel to be fairly high. Does not fit tight at top so wearing with jeans is an option. Zappos if the best.

Beautiful boot and I ordered it because the reviews said the calf size was roomy. Well, not roomy enough. Too bad but they have to go back. If you have large calves, these might not work.

These boots are extremely comfortable and go well with jeans or dresses. They felt great from day one and I receive numerous compliments on the style. The leather feels great and they keep me quite warm. I also bought them in the taupe color.
