Lovely boots! Soft leather, cushion footbed, perfect heel height, boots you will have forever, a dream to wear, unless you have small calves like mine (they measure 13.5). These boots are too wide for my calves but that does allow lots of room for leggings/skinny jeans. For the price I want them to be perfect. In the box they go, on to find a better fitting boot!

The first time I went to get this boot it was sold out. I waited a week and it was back in stock. I was a little hesitant about the heel height, but it is so comfortable you don't even notice! The color is unusual, the side zipper gives it interesting detail, and if they are anything like the Born boots I bought last year they will be a staple of my wardrobe. I plan to wear these with work slacks in the winter (although last year’s model was no good in the puddles, my feet would get wet; I think water seeps in through the stitching around the toe) and with leggings on my days off. If they have these in your size, order them now.

Great casual boots! The taupe looked a little too cowboy roper for me, but the brown leather ones are a bit dressier and look fantastic. I ordered my usual size 10 and had to exchange for 9.5. These look great over jeans and with more casual skirts and dresses. They work well for me even though I have skinny calves (13") and the boot shaft is marked as 16". They are still a bit pouchy through the mid-calf area but somehow they manage to look tailored despite the extra space. Love the details with the curved side zipper and buckles. Amazingly comfortable everyday wearing boots.

A stylish boot with a slight rugged edge and very comfortable feel (can wear all day with no discomfort). The only thing that I didn't like from a functionality standpoint is the buckle on the top of the boot. When I cross my legs when I wear a dress and tights, the buckles can sometimes snag the tights. Not a big deal. I kept them and love them with leggings, dresses, and jeans. I normally wear a 6.5 in Born and these fit perfectly.

After reading the reviews I thought these might be too tight on my huge runner’s calves. I was also feeling a bit guilty about dropping this price on boots, so there was a tiny part of me that hoped these boots wouldn't fit. Not the case! They fit so perfectly and are so comfortable. The leather is beautiful and the shoes are lightweight with good support. I groaned because I knew I had no choice but to keep 'em! They easily zip over my jeans (and I'm not joking, I have monster calves), and they are so cute. I get tons of compliments when I wear these boots (even got a free rental car upgrade while wearing them... I'm totally giving credit to the boots). This is a purchase I don't regret.

I absolutely love them! These are by far my favorite boots ever purchased. They have just enough room in the calf and are just perfect either for under jeans or with skinny jeans. They are comfortable, rugged, yet pretty. I wore them out to a fair the first night and held up extremely well. I recommend these if you are just thinking about them!

These boots are amazing...comfy right out of the box and absolutely adorable. I get compliments on them every time I wear them! I got the dark brown color, and they match everything. I also have pretty athletic calves, but these fit over skinny jeans with room to spare. They're so comfortable I even wore them for a day of shopping at the Mall of America! Now that says something!

I just received these boots and I'm in love with them. I ordered the taupe and it looks even better than on the photo. It is comfortable and very stylish, true to size. I can't wait to wear them!

Bought these boots and really like them! They look super cool and the leather is a soft good quality as I expect from Born. My only complaint is that they are a little tight at the calf area so it is difficult to wear them with jeans tucked in. Also they do not offer much arch support so they are not as comfortable as my other Borns (Mccarty) but the look of the boot makes up for this in my opinion!

Boots are very comfortable, was able to wear them all day without any discomfort.

These are gorgeous boots but came way to big. I am normally a size 7 but I should have ordered a size 5.5 or 6, they made my feet feel big and clunky. They do seem comfortable.

I'm a big Born fan, especially sandals, so I thought I would try the boots. I bought the black Milari in a size 6. I am 5'7” and 125 lbs and they fit perfectly WITHOUT anything on my legs. I tried them on with both jeans and leggings and they were too narrow for my calves. I have athletic calves, but most boots fit me perfectly- FRYE ROCKS. The Milari boots were nice, but had to be returned because they just didn't work for me. Thank goodness for Zappos' amazing customer service!

These boots are really gorgeous, comfortable, and well-made for the price. As someone else noted, they are large in the calf, especially towards the opening of the boot, and I have pretty normal-sized calves for a non-overweight person. I liked them enough to take them to a cobbler and get them tailored to my leg though!

Nice quality boot but I am returning because the ankles seem big/loose and the leather bags out in an unflattering way along the zipper in the ankle.

These are gorgeous boots but way too large in the calf area. They make me look like I am wearing boots that are three sizes too large for me. I even tried them on with skinny jeans and they were still voluminous. Back they go, unfortunately.

These are the most beautiful and comfortable boots ever! If you are on the fence definitely order them! I ordered them and they were at my door the very next day! You cannot beat Zappos for quality and efficiency and quick shipping. These boots are good with jeans and also can go dressy. They are my favorite boots! They are very comfortable with no stiffness at all and a cushioned footbed.
