I have worn the alegria clogs and sandals, but was nervous to try a shoe with a back (for the rubbing on my heel). But these are -hands down- the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I stand 8 hours a day on concrete (art teacher) and my feet do-not-even-ache at the end of the day. Note, the toe box is lower than the clogs, so there will be a little rubbing/adjustment to toes that are higher, but it's worth it. I wear danskos, birkenstocks and vionic throughout the year, ordering a new pair every 12 months. But Alegria is the very best of them all.

I wear size 11 US size. The first time I ordered a size 10.5-11 Palamo, but it fits smaller. Returned and got 11.5-12 and it fit perfectly. I ordered 11.5-12 when I bought "Free Form" Debra Professional and it fits like a glove. No wearing it in, very comfortable, felt arc support immediately, wore for 12 hour shifts the next 2 nights (hospital concrete floors) and feet never hurt. The material is very durable and looks awesome. I just bought another pair, the "Black Leather" too. Also just bought Alegria Classic in "Upgrade". I have found my forever shoes finally. Please don't stop making these Alegria Debra Professional shoes. I am hooked. Would love to see these in an "oiled brown" like in the Keli style. as I would buy them too. I need the thickness that this shoe provides of maximum support and the alleviation of strain on my feet.

I got a size 9 in these and the fit is perfect. I have arthritis in the joint of my toes and the only shoes I can comfortably wear for any length of time are this brand. Cute styles and lots of compliments when I wear them to work!

I loved these shoes when I first got them. super comfortable and light weight (compared to dansko clogs ) but within time maybe like two months later the heel insole just didn’t have cushion anymore and it started to hurt my heel. maybe I just need to get a heel cushion or new insoles. but overall good shoes.

I’ve fallen in love with Alegria! I only wish there were more pattern options. I’ve been a die hard Dansko clog wearer for my night shift work. Wanted to to try something different after my last pair of Dansko’s didn’t feel so right.

this is a lovely shoe. I had ordered it and a Keli in the same size. unfortunately, the Debra has too much heel room for my foot. I did want to try a slip on rocker sole as I have 2 pairs of Palomas. if you have normal to wide heels it will probably work for you. it is very nice but I am best off not stepping out of my shoes. thanks Zappos for your easy return policy.

It was wonderful able to wear them to work first day without breaking them in.

These are true to width- I got the wide width and it was wide enough for me- are true to size and have excellent arch support. These are Comfortable, but the leather upper was too shallow, and like several others have stated, my heels slipped badly. On to try another style of Alegrias.

I just received this shoe. Style looks great with slacks . I went down a size since I only plan to wear thin trouser socks however someone else might want to wear thick socks and go with their regular size. It’s very comfortable out of the box,no break-in. I’ve only worn to try with outfits because I’m not sure I’ll keep . The replacement foot bed is a plus because like many others I am in the service industry and I wear out the insides before the outsides so replacing the foot bed will extend this shoe. I ordered a size down. Plan to wear with trousers socks or tights. If you were going to wear heavy socks then you should order your regular size. I haven’t decided if I’ll be keeping yet , not sure if they look good with casual dresses . These shoes are comfortable and do look good with slacks . Also I did order the wide since I do have a wide foot so that’s a nice option.

These were my 3rd pair of these shoes. The earlier pairs were totally worn out because I wear them full-time around the house. Love Alegria.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have bought because they are so comfortable and good looking. The first pair was given to a friend who tried them on, and loved them so I let her have them. I already owned my second pair. That pair I have literally worn to death, now being held together with duct tape. So got a new pair and they are so comfy, and no tape is needed.

This is my second shoes! After trying so many different shoes , spending a lots of money and not able to be comfortable staying on my feet 8-10 hours ( I’m a dental assistant and mostly staying for all procedures ). When I found this brand I felt right away like I was walking on the clouds. I have a metatarsalgia, but I’m pain free now. Please don’t discontinue. Thank you Zappos for the great costumer service.

I love them! They do slip in the heel a little as precious reviewers said, but that doesn’t bother me. My feet are not in pain at the end of the day and that’s what matters to me. I have chronic plantar fasciitis.

After trying all kind shoes for the medical/dental professionals, This is the only shoes I can wear and be comfortable at my work. Im a dental assistant , all day on my feet. I have metatarsalgia , but with this shoes I walk like on clouds. Please don’t discontinue them.

These are very roomy shoes. I have a slightly wide foot, and these more than accommodate that. They are on the loose side in the heel, but since I am planning to wear these with socks over the winter, that’s no problem. They are comfortable right out of the box and very well made. These will be a go-to shoe this fall and winter.

This is a lovely shoe — nice design and leather. Unfortunately I have a developing hammer toe on left foot and the leather in toe section was pressed against my hammer toe. Right shoe fit perfectly. I had to return shoes. Thanks for great return policy!!

I ordered too big, will send back exchange for smaller size.

Love Algeria shoes. My go-to nursing shoe because they are so comfortable.

Been wearing Alegria for years. Love the quality and comfort. These fit just as I've come to expect.
