These shoes are so comfortable on the feet as long as you don't have to walk in them. They have hard non-flexible soles. Since they don't flex, my heel comes out of them every step I take, which I could get used to but the hard soles hitting the concrete floor over a long busy shift was pure torture I purchased these because my heels were hurting and the shoe saleswoman recommended them for working on concrete floors, that they are designed to absorb shock. Was she kidding?? How can that be??? After wearing them several times trying to force myself to get used to them, I was practically a cripple in every joint from my toes up to my mid back. Logic now tells me a hard sole is not going to soften the blow when it hits the concrete over and over again for hours in every work day. I don't know why other people are not having problems with these shoes. They are cute, they just don't work for me.

I'm always in heels and wanted a shoe that would be comfortable for those days that I am around the office. They turned out to be very comfortable and soothing to those areas of my feet that have been destroyed by wearing high heels my whole life! Perfect choice, I just need to wear them more!

Spent the week walking around Paris in these shoes. They are great for standing in lines and totally unique. My foot is wide through the ball of the foot and these shoes are generous. The leather lining is very comfortable.

Love these shoes! I'm a nurse and on my feet all day and my feet feel great. Zappos is a great place to order.

I LOVE these shoes. I usually wear a 10.5-11, and purchased a 10.5 because of the reviews stating this shoe was a full size larger. The shoe fit perfectly! It does come off the heel a bit, but these are not intended to be snug. I did deduct 1 point for comfort, but only because my feet tend to swell by the end of a 12-hour shift. The shoes tend to feel a bit snug across the top by the end of my long night. Overall, great shoe. Love the insoles!

These are so cute and so comfortable. They have great arch support and a totally natural foot angle. Considering how thick the sole is, they are super lightweight. Unlike some of their other styles, if you need a wide, buy a wide.

I was reading the reviews on this shoe and I have to agree with one of the reviews. The way the shoe is shaped it make my feet look like I have clown shoes on especially the floral design. Returning for a bigger size (I have wide feet so I should have known better) and a plain design. Although I can tell they seem very comfortable because the insole is so thick.

I thought these shoes looked cute enough for work, especially in profile. I work as a waitress and non-slip soles are required. I am trying to replace my non-slip Klogs, which I bought in September and only work 1 or 2 nights/week. When I took the Alegrias out of the box, I thought, they have got to be one of the most unattractive shoes I've seen. They are practically rectangular except they flare out even more at the toes like a duck foot. They didn't even offer much arch support (I have flat arches, but not particularly wide feet) and made my feet look gigantic, as if I'd worn the shoe box instead. Back they go. Sorry Zappos, I feel badly not purchasing anything from this round.

I'm told these shoes are great but I found out the hard way if you rely on the shoes innersole and don't use your orthopedic you end up in a world of pain. I pulled a tendon in my left foot after wearing them for 6 hours. What's really strange, my right foot felt like slipping into butter. So I learned the hard way, while these shoes may be great for those with no foot issues, they wont compensate for those of us that do have issues.

I recently purchased the Alegria Debra style and was very disappointed. I was told they were so comfortable by friends, but I have only worn them three times so far, as each time I have gotten horrible blisters on the backs of my heels and also on the top of my feet. Each time my foot bends when I walk, the top of the shoe digs into the top of my feet. It is painful. They are super cute, so perhaps a different style would feel better. Also, I normally wear size 8 shoes but size 39 in these fit me. It appears as though the sizing guidelines on this website are a bit off compared to traditional sizing conversions.

It's not that these aren't comfortable, they just fit my fit oddly. I have a very high arch and my foot was so smashed that my toes went numb after a half hour. My husband thought they were cute but I thought it looked like I had duck feet because of the way the stitching is done. The pattern is cute, but the shoe is just not for me.

I wanted to love this shoe as a softer alternative to my Sanitas, but alas the to of the shoe is MUCH too small to accommodate a high arch. Even in a half size up I cannot get my foot in.

I decided to try these shoes for work because i have plantar fasciitis--i put them on, and they feel so great, i can't take them off--the footbed support is so good, i am going to have to get a pair for when i'm not at work!

How very sad, such cute shoes too. This brand was recommended to me but by a very petite woman. They ran too narrow to wear with even light socks. I shop at Zappos VIP frequently and this is the first time I have tried this brand. I even went up a full size and they were still too narrow. Too bad.

Love these shoes! I wear them for work. I need a non slip shoe these are great. I tried Dansko shoes they hurt my feet. I also have planters fascitis These shoes are a blessing! I am able to tackle my 8 hour shifts on my feet with no problems! Thank You Alegria!

Great comfort for 12 hour nursing shifts. Did take 2-3 days to break in unlike my Alegria clogs. Annoyingly, they do still squeak when walking the halls. I had thought this would go away once broken in, but it hasn't. My patients know when I'm coming. Colors are bright and vibrant. Received tons of compliments.

I bought from Zappos because my friend could return them or exchange them. Turns out the sizing was perfect (How did she get my size so perfectly? I spoke with her daughter. Easy.) and she loved the pattern which she could also wear to work. No return necessary.

Alegria shoes need to be produced in half sizes. One size is much too large, but the next size down is so small they hurt the end of my toes. I had great hopes for these shoes! The shape of the sole is much like the boot (modern form of a cast) an orthopedic doctor prescribes certain bone fractures of the foot. I have osteoporosis, and I thought this shoe might help me avoid further fractures. Please ask the company to start making half sizes!

Bought for daughter for Christmas. She has problems with her feet and this is her second pair of Alegrias. In her job she is on her feet a lot and these shoes make her days more comfortable!

Great pair of nursing shoes. They are very cushy and supportive. I worked 12 hour shift and my legs and back didn't hurt at the end of the day. I get tons of compliments and recommend them to everyone. The only thing that bothered me is that I must have a high arch so the top of the foot kind of is tight, but overall very comfy shoe, and I will never go back to tennis shoes for long shifts.

Very comfortable. I normally wear 8.5 in shoes and bought these in a size 38 which fit perfectly. The only fault I have with these shoes is they make my feet stink horribly, and I've never had a problem with other shoes doing this. I get tons of compliments on them every day at the hospital.

Good looking- aren't they ? They work with pants and skirts - they work in the day and at night - and wearing them doesn't feel like work at all! I love my new Alegria Debra Professionals!

I absolutely love Alegria shoes and was therefore disappointed that I could not wear this one. I have several pairs of the Alegria shoes, without a back and wanted to try a different style. I ordered the same size, but was unable to fit my foot in the shoe, much less wear comfortably. Otherwise, I loved the colors and pattern. This one experience will not keep me from buying other pairs. :)
