This is my 3rd pair of Alegria shoes ( 1st Paloma & 2 Tuscany's also) Love them cant wait to buy more. I just drove out and intercepted the UPS truck to get them in time to catch my plane.Had to have these for a conference where I will be on my sore plantars faciatis feet all day. Worth every penny and so much fun to wear.

I could not have been happier with the service I received from Zappos. They were prompt and helpful and even sent me a sweet thank you note for my business. I didn't have to pay shipping for my purchase or for my return. I received my shoes promptly and I love them! I would definitely use Zappos again!

I recently purchased a pair of Palomas for Christmas 2012. I have been wearing them to work every day since (almost 3 months) and I must say these are excellent shoes. I am a dental hygienist and I am on my feet 4 days a week or more for 8 hours a day. I did buy a size 37 and I normally wear a size 8 but I prefer my shoes not to flop on my feet. I would highly recommend these to any healthcare professional or anyone who is on their feet for long periods of time. I have lower back pain & these shoes seem to have alleviated some of my pain there as well.

I have 2 pair of these and love them. They are so comfortable, they run a little wide by design. All day comfort! Oh by the way, lot's of compliments.

I love this shoe! My plantar fasciitis was resolved by wearing these shoes. I have the Midnight Garden Patent. The colors are vibrant and attractive. I get many complements when wearing these. I own three pairs of Alegria shoes and love the way they fit. The rocker soles take the pressure off your heels and toes. I'm glad that Zappos carries the Alegria, because I haven't seen them at any local stores. I was introduced to these shoes while visiting family in Dothan, AL. My sister-in-law owns several pairs and happens to wear my size. She loaned me a pair and I was sold on them after wearing them all day.

As a 17 year old male, my mom stopped me from buying this due to how feminine they looked and I got a pair of Birkenstocks instead. But still interested in purchasing a pair and wear to school regardless of the looks and opinions. I tried a pair for fitting and they felt comfortable. Definitely worth buying.

I'm on my feet all day and have several foot problems. These shoes let me forget about me feet and keep working. I get fun comments about how cute they are too. I live and work in a sandy area and love how the sole doesn't hold the sand then release it inside like running and tennis shoe do. I have to be careful on slightly wet surfaces though. I have only had the shoes a couple of weeks so I don't know how they will hold up but they are so well made I'm expecting to wear them a long time.

If you have flat feet, please buy this shoe. Great arch support. My shoe size is 8.5 so the size 39 fits great. These Alegria shoes are great, I work 10 hours on my feet and they feel great at the end of the day.

These are fantastic shoes! They are so comfortable even with bunions! Everyone notices them and wants to buy them. I tell them just go to Zappos online! Free shipping and free return!

All I can say is Wow! I bought brown in the Paloma style and can't wait to order another pattern. The most comfortable shoe I have tried, and still swear by Dansko, but these are more comfortable! Love them! I saw someone wearing the leopard print Paloma and "googled" awesome shoe with butterfly on sole...so glad I found these!

Love these shoes! They are very comfortable, and very good looking. They seem just as roomy to me as the Alegria Belle, which I was a little worried about cuz some people said they weren't, but for me they were.

These shoes are the most comfortable I have - and I have a closet full of shoes collected in my long search for comfort! They have excellent support, "rock" with your step, have a great non-slip interior so your socks don't swim around while your feet want to stay put. The fastener is adjustable and firm and this particular design is great with both jeans and office dressing. I'm getting more of their fun and funky colors and patterns for spring and summer! Who says this level of comfort has to be dowdy - not Alegria.

A very comfortable shoe. The size 38 is true to a usual size 7. I am a professional chef and on my feet all day. They hold up to the mess and stress of a kitchen. I hesitated to buy them as they appear to be wide but they do not feel wide at all.

After walking around Disney World for three days (over 10,000 steps a day) I can truly say I have never in my 73 years worn a more comfortable and energizing shoe! I have small bunions which are not an issue in this style shoe, and the foot support is out of this world! While standing in line for food I had a young man sheepishly tell me that he had taken a photo of my shoes to show to his mom. I must receive at least two positive compliments each time I wear them. So cute!

Alegria shoes are absolutely the best shoes if you have problems with your feet. The insoles feel better than my custom orthotics. Walking takes less energy with the rocker bottoms. The velcro closing means complete flexibility for tightness, so you can be sure you're shoes will stay on your feet, but yet not be too tight. I can't say I really like the patent leather finish or the stitching on the outside, but I love them anyway.

This is my third pair of Alegria shoes. I have the Belle in blue, the open back sandal in black and now the Poloma in the black tortoise. I have had 6 knee surgeries and also have a bad back, but right now I am feeling pretty good. The Poloma is so cute and comfy and our kitchen has Mexican tiled floors which are hard on the back, so these shoes make a huge difference for me when I am cooking and working in the kitchen. They are expensive, but worth every penny. I have several pairs of Danskos but the Alegria Poloma has more support with the adjustable strap and the thick sole. I am a happy camper. My daughter says they are "really cute ugly shoes!"

Feet are like people...they come in all shapes and sizes. The Alegria Paloma is a great shoe for me and my feet. I was taken by the looks and colors available, but when I tried them on, was completely sold. Comfort is more important than anything else. I bought two pair and have ordered 3 more from Zappos. I wear a 9 and got a 39. Fits great. Supposed to be loose on the heel. (I wear a 40 in Dansko which is hard inside) One pair of my Alegrias developed a terrible squeak. I could not wear them in public, so wore them around the house. Finally got a number to customer service for Pepper Gate Footwear (the maker) and called. It is a problem they have had and are working on correcting. It seems the felt footbed gets loose and causes the squeak. They are sending me a new pair of insoles and told me that I was to take the old felt pad out and a new one would be on the bottom of the new insoles. Well, as soon as I got off the phone, I took the felt pad off...and no more squeaks! I don't really need the new insoles now. I hesitated on ordering more Alegrias, even though I love the comfort, but could not afford to buy them, if they were going to squeak. Now I know what to do, I ordered more. I am still wearing a pair around the house...just because of the comfort. The shoe is meant to be loose, like Danskos,and have a roomy toe box. I love them! I am 64 and don't care what people think about my shoes, as long as they are comfortable...but these are cute and comfortable. I get some comments, as I got the bubbles and the pewter (snakeskin) first. Once people try them on, they understand why I like them so much. Some of the Mary Jane styles rubbed me just across the base of my big toe, but the Paloma style did not. I have ordered some different styles, so right now I can only speak for the Palomas.

I am a massage therapist and esthetician so I am on my feet all day. These shoes are fantastic for people who are on their feet for long periods of time. They do not need to be broken in as they are already very comfortable. They cushion your feet and there is plenty of room for your toes. I wear a size 8 and a half to 9 usually and I bought a size 38 which fits perfectly. This is actually my second pair of this style (the Paloma). The first pair was given to me by a coworker but I recently had to buy a black pair for my new uniform. You can't go wrong with this purchase if you are looking for comfort. And they are funky and stylish too!

I have terrible lower back pain with 3 hemorrhaged discs and an annular tear. These shoes are about the only shoes I can wear that give me some relief. They are totally worth the money. I have worn the same pair almost every day for the past 3 years and they are just now beginning to show signs of wear - and I am rough on shoes. Get past your vanity and your frugality and buy these shoes if you have back pain.

I kept these in my favorites debating on them for so long - don't you do the same! I ordered down one euro size based on the recommendation of the sweetest customer service support tech and I couldn't be happier. I held off wearing them to work fearing a breaking in period, so I wore them shopping all Saturday. They were excellent, no discomfort whatsoever. I was actually on this site this morning to pick out some other styles!

I was really excited to receive these shoes until I opened the package and noticed they have they patent leather "coating." Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return them for a soft leather outer shell shoe. I had a pair of the patent shoes in the past and they started to crack within a week of wearing them. My soft leather ones on the other hand, have survived a beating! Still the most comfy shoes I own. As a nurse I'm on my feet for long periods of time. I've tried Nike, Crocs, Brooks, Danskos, you name it. Alergria is the best out there!

I love these shoes. So comfortable and just darn cute. Plus I get lots of compliments. A true reflection of who I am!

These are great. They are so comfortable. My sales job keeps me on my feet and these keep me going. I love the charcoal color.

Love them! Teacher, up and down stairs all day. Along with standing on concrete floor. Favorite shoes.
