I teach, so I am on my feet a lot and I have a problem foot, at that. So, it is really important for me to have great arch support. These shoes are great, and I am recommending them to all my friends, whether they have problem feet or not. Many reviewers said that the shoes ran large, but I ordered my usual size and they were perfect. I sprang for the shiny silvery shoes (I work with young people and I can get away with it), but I was pleased to learn that the shoes actually reflect the color that I am wearing (especially with slacks)! I am going to get another pair as the comfort cannot be beat and the price is not bad when compared to other shoes that work well for me (Eccos and Birkenstocks).

These shoes have brought me a lot of happiness. They are so much fun to look at when I look down at my feet. They are also very supportive and comfortable. I will definitely buy Alegrias again.

This is my second pair of Alegria, and I've gotta say...these shoes are wonderful! My feet are so happy they're singing! I usually wear orthotics, but with these shoes, I don't need them. Yay! The arch is high enough. I love the color of these shoes and get either outright compliments from admirers or I notice furtive glances in the direction of my feet. After all, who could resist pink leather mary janes. Get yourself some and y'all will be forming a chorus with my feet!

Excellent shoes. Comfortable and supportive. Lasts well beyond a 12 hour shift.

These are certainly some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, if not the most comfortable. Almost like walking on air. I've had mine now for about 3 weeks and have worn them to work every day. The velcro strap is great, particularly when traveling, as it's easy to adjust the shoe as your feet swell in flight. A few negatives: the strap and the heel can chafe a bit if you're wearing these without socks. I would not recommend wearing them without socks. With socks, they're perfect. Great room for your toes, and arch support unsurpassed.

I have a few pairs of Algeria Paloma, and find them cute, comfy and easy to dress up or down. The black snakeskin are no exception! Great shoes -- basic with a bit more style than plain leather shoes.

I love these shoes. I've had them now for at least 9 months and they still look and feel great. I work 12 hour shifts/3 days a week and EVERY day at least one patient compliments me on my shoes. I'll buy another pair for sure.

Wow, you can't beat Zappos for service, ordered on saturday morning, and wore out on Monday night. This shoe is crazy, but I think it will suit me. I love the crazy print with peace signs, after all I am an old Hippie. The fit is amazing. This will be my new everyday shoe. It's the one I've been looking for. No break in needed. I put on at 5pm and took off at 7:30 to take a shower. Will wear them all day at work tomorrow without any problems! They are exactly as pictured and described. I have had 2 knee replacements and wanted something to take the stress off the knee's. these are it.

Just took my Paloma pewter charmer from UPS driver - another 5 stars! Wow, what beautiful shoes & I can hardly wait to wear them. Have 1 pair of the Palomas in another color so I know how good my feet will feel! They will be happy feet. Thanks Zappos for great service & thank you Alegria. I would only recommend this product because of the comfort, dressy with a little classy sass! Love Alegria shoes. Sometimes forget & think I still have my house slippers on.

I took a chance and bought these without ever having tried them on thanks to Zappos great return policy. Shoes are super cute and the Mary Jane style is plain fun. They have very high arch support which I wasn't expecting. These shoes actually have changed my work life! At the end of the day, my back and feet do not hurt like they used to! I did have about a 5 shift "break in" period before I felt truly committed to these shoes. Alegria and Zappos have a customer for life!

I love my mary janes! I had problems with the velcro when I got them (it kept coming undone) but I loved them so much I didn't want to return them. I had a great idea to take them to the shoe maker to add a black snap to the strap at the very bottom of the velcro. Bingo! That did the trick and every time I wear these shoes, which is almost every day, I have fun looking at my feet! Thinking about getting another pair in pink!

I absolutely love these shoes! So far these are my favorite style of Alegrias. They are casual enough for jeans and dressy enough for a skirt.

Wow! After wearing my Alegrias for the first time, standing for 9 hours at work, my feet don't hurt! I'm amazed. They are honestly the sixth pair of shoes I've tried in the past two months. They're not the best looking shoe, in my opinion, but they are so supportive and comfortable and that's what's most important.

The Alegria Paloma is pure heaven. I do not dress up much but when I do, comfort is a necessity.

These shoes are very comfy; however, they did rub my little toe for awhile. But once I broke them in they were good.

I love these shoes! As a teacher, and I have tried and tried to find shoes that would keep my feet from aching by the end of the day. I tried Danskos but the firm insole hurt the ball of my foot, these shoes were the perfect alternative. It took a day to get used to the rocker sole, but I have been wearing them every single day (weekends too!). I have the black patent and it is pliable and comfortable after just a couple of weeks. I just ordered another pair in a different color. I get so many compliments on them. Super cute with jeans, dress pants, or tights. Absolutely no more foot pain and no breaking in process. I am hooked on Alegria & Zappos!

I finally found my perfect work shoe! This is the 3rd pair I've bought in the last 6 months (the first being the Dansko Solitaire which was a total flop.. the second being the Dansko Marah which were all good except the bit-to-hard footbed). These Alegria Palomas make my poor feet feel happy and feel like they are walking on very bouncy clouds. I am a pharmacist and usually go on 9 hours without sitting... so before I got these shoes my feel were in throbbing pain at the end of every day. This is the first shoe I ever had in which the insole was of superior quality to the point I didn't feel like I had to buy my own and slip them in. They are also super light so if you got stairs to run up and down in at work these are definitely for you. I bought these in the multi soft metallic... and they were a lot more sparkly and pretty than pictured. Also get many compliments whenever I wear these gorgeous shoes both in and out of work. The rhinestone button is such a nice touch too.

I love this shoe. It has proved to be an all-day comfort shoe. My feet feel great...no more of those silly ballet flats! My only little complaint is that when worn without socks (rather, with those tiny "not-socks"), the edge of the shoe rubs on a small bone just below my ankle. I expect that the more I wear them the more they'll conform to my foot. And with socks, this problem won't exist (it's just too hot at the moment).

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I can wear them all day and my feet never feel tired. They run large. I usually wear a size 39, but wear size 38 in these.

I was shipped filthy, very used shoes. I was looking forward to trying out this brand but it looks like that was the last one in the colorway I wanted in my size. They were sent to me in a plastic, clear and green Amazon type bag delivered by an Amazon warehouse driver. My star rating reflects a mid-grade, no point in docking the shoe, which looks very cute. I’ve never had such an issue before. I don’t even know what else to say other than I am disappointed, Zappos.
